I had some electrical issues with my Defender and was recommended this company by a neighbour. I took it in, explained the issues which Rob wrote down and was told I’d get a call in a few hours. Rob then called, explained a simple fix on 1 part and the repair on the other. I picked the car up a few hours later all done exactly as needed and they charged me a fair amount for the work. A job well done, thanks very much.

The guys at Electrum Auto are top class. They investigated issues with my car twice now. Both times they have been able to accommodate me at short notice - prior to my MOT and also before a long drive. They are professional, great at explaining simply what the issue is and what they have had to do. They don't just do the work and let you go - they road test to make sure it is sorted. They go above and beyond what other places would. If I could rate higher I would.

I had a great experience with Electrum. They went above and beyond when trying to figure out what could the issue with the dashboard lights in my Kia be. Unfortunately they couldn't fix it but they advised me what to do next and didn't want to charge me for their work. Found Electrum by chance and I am really glad I did. I was having issues with my cars electronic brake and not only did they take a look at it in a short amount of time, but also took the time to explain to me what the issue was in easy to understand terms. Electrum were absolutely fantastic at fixing our camper van conversion. Not only did Steve take the time to talk to me over the phone first to discuss my concerns, he carried out all the work (plus some extras) very quickly and at an extremely reasonable rate. He even took the time to explain it all to us (non- mechanical people) so we would understand everything ourselves. Could not rate them any higher! Thanks again to the team at Electrum!

Professional, friendly and helpful staff. They were able to sort out my electrical issue efficiently and at a reasonable cost. They were able to also identify that my car was not charging the battery and as my battery was no longer good which I new they gave me one they they had lying about in order for me to get home at no extra cost. 2008 Zafira petrol auto. Auto box not working intermittently. Also lights on intermittently, ABS, skid, pollution, alternator. Blooming Christmas tree lights! 26 faults recorded. ROB fixed everything and charged 1/2 hour labour. 2 others had had a go but could not fix it. brilliant Rob. Many thanks.

Great service received from Steve and Rob. They were very accommodating and managed to get through a whole list of electric work required on my campervan build. Steve kept me updated almost daily with progress and suggestions etc. Overall the quality of the work was better than i expected, neat and was very happy with the price. After receiving a fault misdiagnosis from another company (faulty transmission ECU), I was recommended to try Electrum. They diagnosed a wiring fault and fixed it within 2 days. Dropped my Audi A4 3.0TDI into Electrum with an intermittent Turbo problem causing the car to go into Limp Mode. Dropped off at 6PM Wednesday, by Midday Thursday Rob had called me with a diagnosis and uncovered another problem that I didn’t realise the car had. The car then had to go to a VW/Audi specliast to fix as Electrum mostly deal with electrics. However I’m sure that the hours labour I paid to Electrum will have no doubt saved me more money in the long run, seeing as the first garage I took the car to had the car for 2 days and I was no further along.. Great service, extremely professional. Rob went above and beyond to help me and my car. I didn’t have to wait a week for them to have a look at my car unlike some garages! For any future electrical problems I won’t hesitate to take my car to Electrum. Thanks very much!! Conor

We took our Iso Grifo to Electrum with what we thought was a broken electric window switch. Rob at Electrum ran a quick test for us, dropping what he was doing, and found it was just a fuse. He replaced the fuse and sent us away with a few spares and wouldn't charge us. Another customer was singing their praises as they left too. I went there because of the existing reviews and will definitely use them for any electrical issues we have from now on.
