CIR electrical completed a EICR prior to a house purchase and installed a consumer unit for me today. Neil was on time and I really appreciated his friendly manner, going above and beyond the work requested. He gave invaluable advice on energy saving bulbs and how to correct issues with flickering lights (essential in the current economic climate). He explained things clearly, in layman terms and ensured I understood the work and the device installed, tidying up after completion of the installation. He was knowledgeable and passionate about his work. I would highly recommend Neil and CIR electrical for any electrical requirements and will be engaging him again very soon! Lisa was also very helpful and responsive when organising both visits to the property.

After surfing the Internet for an electrician C.I.R were the only company to give me a decent quote for originally just a replacement electrical hob .However I was aware that the circuit was over 60 years old and the house needed a full rewire to bring it from the dark ages into modern times lol.Neil and team were brilliant and Neil's wife was very efficient even though busy they run a tight ship and it took five days for a detached house and garage rewire but the price was the best quote we'd had and the workmanship was second to none.Neil the director and electrician is compassionate and highly skilled and would recommended them definitely to anyone. Neil and his team installed two extractor fans (kitchen & bathroom). The job made more challenging by the property having very thick stone walls that needed drilling through. Previous electrical contractors I'd contacted were seemingly put off by this but not Neil. From the off he was professional & reliable, advising & supplying exactly what was needed. Neil at CIR is possibly the most professional and knowledgeable tradesmen I have ever used. CIR performed a complete rewire of my 1930's 3 bed house over 2 weeks. From the initial inspection and discussing requirements through to completion they were tidy and efficient. If there was any uncertainty about a socket location or any other aspect they would ensure they asked to get my input before proceeding. Some points proved difficult due to the age and design of the house but instead of opting for the quick and easy method Neil took the time to do the job properly and ensured all wires were hidden and routed to best achieve the job. Overall I was very impressed with the job and the outstanding service provided. It is not often I would take the time to write a review and even rarer that I would recommend someone so openly but in this case I would be happy to do both considering the high standards, work ethic and professionalism of Neil and CIR.

Neil and Daley carried out a partial rewire on our older house - not a straightforward job. It was carried out in a very professional and knowledgeable manner. Neil explained in detail everything he was doing and talked us through the procedure. Nothing was too much trouble. The work.was completed within his time frame. Neil has been to this house first of all to install my Ring floodlights and I was delighted with his work - such a pleasant man and knows exactly what he is doing. Cleans up afterwards and is very friendly and reliable. I then wanted a new oven and electric hob installed as I don't like gas and he wired up my new hob and fitted a large plug for it and my new cooker. Was delighted with that job too - cleaned up again. Very reasonable rates- he is such a prompt reliable and trustworthy man I have no hesitation in recommending him to all.

I used Neil and his team to sort me a supply out for my new hot tub, they turned up on time, swiftly completed the job and left the job extremely clean with no mess at all, the prices were very reasonable, I will recommend CIR to anybody

Neil came to do a few electrical jobs around our house. He removed and installed outdoor motion lights, installed outdoor sockets, installed outdoor patio lighting and installed a ring camera. They were replacing my old consumer unit and 2 unforeseen issues arose. These were difficult to trace and floorboards etc had to be lifted. Once the faults were found and rectified everything was put back as it was before. Cannot recommend CIR more. Will definitely use them again.

First time I used CIR for a landlord EICR inspection Feb 2021. I was very satisfied with the report. My tenant was contacted, a date arranged, Nick turned up carried out the report to a professional standard. I would recommend CIR and will use them for further work in the future.

I had 3 electricians to come out for a quote to install Nest, Ring products and a outside socket. All 3 were qualified but the first electrician told me he had installed a lot of Ring floodlight Cameras but yet when I told him about the 110 decibel he had no clue what I was talking about and then he tried to convince me it doesn't have it unless its the latest model he said. OMG complete fail! The second electrician was qualified but was not NEST certified so could not install the nest. He was OK but I wanted 1 person to do all the electrical work. And then Neil turns up saving the best to last. Excellent professional guy. He knew what he was talking about did a outstanding job and showed me how to set up the NEST and Ring products. I would no doubt recommend his services as I'm looking forward using his services again to install additional 2 Ring cameras. The quotes from all 3 were very similar but Neil was by far the most knowledgeable electrician and very up to date with the Smart home products!

We requested CIR Electrical to undertake necessary checks on our rented property and submit the mandatory Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR) on a relatively tight timescale. A speedy and customer friendly response to this request was followed by an equally customer friendly professional visit by their engineers. The inspection was thorough and effective - and the EICR was delivered in a digital form without delay. Great service - and we would highly recommend this firm.

Neil comes round, tests everything, has a couple of brews, then finds the problem and fixes it - all with minimal disruption. So pleased and confident that this has been resolved.
