Since moving house in September I’ve used Tyneside Electrical Services couple of times., from the Installation of a new consumer unit , New spotlights and finally to get me out of trouble when I attempted to replace a bathroom light that didn’t go to plan!. The cost was reasonable and they completed work to a very high standard, super friendly team. Can happily recommend TES to anyone looking for a trusted tradesman to use.

I very rarely write reviews, but I had to give a review for the Tyneside Electircal Services. They were absolutely awesome! The shower previously installed in my appartment was the wrong one and the temperature couldn't be adjusted towards the hot water! I got an appointment very quickly and booked for the day and time that suited me. They came out the next day for free and told me which shower was appropriate to purchase and came again to install it when I was available! They always called at around 45 min to an hour before the appointment to let me know when they would come and were very punctual! They knew what they were doing, they were very friendly and polite and they even cleaned up after they finished the job, which gave them extra points! I'm very happy with their service and I strongly recommend them!! I would rate them with 10 stars f I could! Thank you very much!

I can't praise Tyneside Electrical Services enough; what a fantastic company! It's Friday evening, I am home alone with three children ages 5-12, and suddenly the electricity goes off completely. My husband is at work, and I can't even call him as he is a driver. It's getting dark out there. Children are restless and upset. Tyneside Electrician led me over the phone and helped to restore my electricity. He helped me discover a fault in one of the kitchen equipment, but I will leave it for my husband to solve. The only electrician to go to!

I really couldn’t recommend Augustine and the team at Tyneside electrical services more. I live away and was arranging repairs on my elderly mum’s house. She is vulnerable and gets overwhelmed dealing with repairs. Augustine took care of everything. Sourcing replacements, repairing, keeping me informed of everything. Did not turn up on agreed day, but after a phone call, they came next day and replaced a circuit breaker as a suspected remedy to a breaker that was randomly tripping. Did not charge, as they couldn't guarantee they had fixed the problem, which is good service and more than made up for not showing up on original date.

Having moved into a new and unusual house, we quickly found that we were also facing some unusual electrical arrangements which would make it difficult to achieve certain things we wanted to do with our new home. We are so happy that we found Tyneside Electrical Services. They were absolutely outstanding. On time to the minute, courteous, and interesting, these guys listen to what you want to achieve and then do their utmost to achieve it. Far from the usual pursed lips and intake of breath, their replies to our requests were, again and again, “No problem. We can do that for you”. They were able to explain, intelligibly to non-electrical experts like us, what the issues were and what the options were to deal with them. One particular job for us took much much longer than it should have as the new house revealed the “interesting” electrical decisions that someone has taken when it was built. But they kept on puzzling it out till we got a solution that now works beautifully for us. Remarkably we were not hit with an extra hours cost. They quoted for the jobs and, whatever it took, they charged for the job. Amazing. These guys are a credit to trades everywhere and really show how it should be done. If only all trades took the same pride in their work as these two. We would now not even consider using anyone else for our electrical work and offer our strongest possible recommendation.

The service provided by Tyneside Electrical Services Ltd is excellent. They were extremely prompt in responding to my request for a quotation and the work was completed within 24 hours of contacting them. There was a small issue that arose after they installed the bathroom ceiling extractor fan and they returned without delay to replace a faulty part in the unit (the timer on the brand new fan was not working due to a manufacturing problem). They provide excellent value for money, are very friendly and it is very clear that they care immensely about the quality of their work. I will certainly use them again and highly recommend them. The guys from T.E.S. that installed my outdoor pir security light were very professional and courteous (they even sent me a text to let me know they will arrive 15 minutes later than promised 😀 - not many companies would do that). They explained everything that they were doing and were happy to discuss any suggestions I made and advise me as to the best way to proceed. After the job was completed they tidied up inside and outside and then explained how the light was set up (what area is covered by the pir, how long the light will stay on for etc). Really excellent service from start to finish! I’ve had Tyneside electrical do a lot of electrical work on my flat. They came recommended to me by my friend and they also completed a small socket installation in a house I worked in. Got them to come and quote the work in my flat that needed doing. Very good knowledge of what I wanted to do and gave practical, impartial advice when quoting about what would be best for my budget and layout of the property and how much work would be involved. Work completed in a timely manner and to a very high standard leaving the flat clean and tidy after the work. Friendly and non-judgemental staff who worked around my rather cluttered rooms to get the work done. Overall a really excellent service and I recommend to all my friends.
