This is how you run a company. I've had two chargers installed by two companies and Smart home charge and their employees are fantastic (especially when compared to the other company). Great phone and email support and great backup when needed. Everyone was based in the UK and were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It also helps that the three installers were nice blokes too! Ohme charger, app and warranty is great too (compared with Hypervolt).

Great place to visit, by car or better still as part of a lake boat trip. Its free to enter and plenty of activities for all ages although there is a charge for them. We'll laid out gardens and walk way's. Tea room and food outlets.

Our EV charge point was installed during covid-19 lockdown measures. So it was unusual circumstances but we were pleased with communication about the installation and also the install itself. The engineer communicated 1 week before the install and arrived as planned with all equipment required. All work was external to our property so it was possible to maintain a social distance from the engineer. It took a few hours and the engineer confirmed working order with us before he left. Only follow up required was set up of the App which was a little more tricky but SmartCharge were able to guide me

I’m very pleased with my Ohme Home Charger installation. I needed a special solution with an online meter to split business/personal electricity charges for my company car. Smart Home Charge were able to provide the charger I wanted with the metering solution I needed. The whole process from start to finish was slick and efficient, from order placement, to OLEV grant application, to installation. The installation was completed in a few hours with minimal fuss, and the engineer left the area clean and tidy. I thoroughly recommend Smart Home Charge.

Wallbox Pulsar Plus purchased and fitted through Smart Home Charge. From their informative videos, through buying, to it being fitted and applying for the OLEV grant, they could not have been more helpful. The whole process takes a few weeks though, partly due in my case to the unit being out of stock because of high demand. But I was kept informed throughout. Fitting was excellent, by a pleasant gentleman (Paul), who clearly took pride in his work. Overall, one of the best companies I have had dealings with in a long time. Very impressed with this company. They made the whole process of buying and installing a car charge ( Andersen A2 ) extremely easy. I had a few changes of mind along the way regarding my cable run etc but they were very helpful and had outstanding communications. The actual installation was carried out to an equally high standard. All in all a great experience.

Following water leakage from water tank in loft I had been without lighting, heating and hot water for 5 weeks. I was getting nowhere with the insurance company and following the initial site visit and report I had no communication from them or the assessors despite sending off numerous emails to both. This company were finally instructed yesterday to attend and they phoned me almost immediately to offer an appointment for am today. Their electrician attended at 8.30am today and rectified everything that could be rectified and I now have use of full facilities with the exception of lights in the bathroom due to the fitting and pull cord switch which were damaged beyond repair. The electrician was very efficient and thorough and also very polite. I am 77 years old and live on my own and this company has restored my faith in British service and workmanship

Great experience from start of process to end. Pretty much fully automated with combination of online and CS interaction....always wary of processes where there is minimal human interaction, but this was 1st class. Would be interesting to see how the CS experience would be if things didn't go smoothly, but thankfully I had no need to test that! May not be needed but I wanted to be totally safe. However, good communication throughout and very neat installation. Electricians were very friendly. Good service. We chose the Ohme Intelligent charger, which works with the energy provider and the car to only charge when you need or when it is cheapest. The whole installation process was made simple and stress-free, considering there are several elements required to come together for installation. We had a problem originally that meant they had to come back- not there fault as the unit ordered was partly faulty. The engineer worked tirelessly and didn't give up though that was clearly the easier option. He got it working, nearly an hour after his shift ended.. you can't beat that kind of service. The Company provided a quick response to my request for a quote, which was reasonable for the unit I selected. They carried our most of the grant formalities and dispatched the charger unit as soon as this was authorised. The install date was quickly arranged after I confirmed delivery of the charger. All of the above was handled by email or online, saving time. The installer was friendly and professional, spotting a much better route for the cabling than I had anticipated. The job was completed quickly and he tidied up any mess. He assisted in getting the relevant app connected to the Wallbox Pulsar Plus unit but was unable to provide more specific details about its use. There is little info within the Wallbox app regarding usage, which they need to address.

Extremely impressed, with the whole process being a very slick operation in only 3 weeks. The web based questionnaire and site survey were very intuitive and made unloading photos & video from the phone for the quote remarkably easy. The Ohme charger turned up the next working day after accepting the quote & paying. The DNO & OLEV applications where all dealt with very efficiently and quickly despite a discrepancy with my MPAN due to a change to a Smart Elec Meter during the process. The install of the charger was a tidy install with NICEIC paperwork received within hours of it being complete. Great job all round! Only improvement would be to ask for full address early on rather than just the postcode, as I was a bit dubious paying in full against a quote that didn't contain the full install location, and felt the need to check Companies House to verify it wasn't a scam. However, my leap of faith was soon rewarded with an email soon after requesting the postal / install address for the charger.

The installation was very professional, quick and problem-free. However it was later noticed that an upstairs lighting circuit was not working. Craig called to discuss the problem and later attended the site to make good. The problem appeared to be one unrelated to the installation but triggered by power shut down. It’s likely we would have lost the circuit whenever we turned off the power. Craig fixed us up and we are now very pleased with the outcome. Thank you!

Absolutely first class service. Can’t fault this company for efficiency. We enquired about a quote to install an Ohme Smart Charger and was given a very reasonable quote the same day. Their system of asking the customer to send a series of photographs and a short video to allow them to assess your property remotely is very efficient. After accepting the quote and paying the balance, we received the charger itself by courier only a couple of days later. They then rang me that day to complete the application for the OLEV grant. We luckily managed to secure a provisional spot to install the charger (dependant in the grant application bring successful) just 4 days later! Monday morning and the installer has been and home and despite some hiccups with our electrics, he’s managed to successfully install the charger. The installer was very helpful and friendly. All in all from first enquiring for a quote, to install being completed was 10 days! Unbelievable.

The whole experience with SmartHomeCharge has been excellent from start to finish. Normally when I order something, things go wrong, and I was beginning to think that it’s just the way things are in this day and age, but I can honestly say that with SmartHomeCharge everything has run so smoothly. I literally can’t fault them! They have really ticked all the boxes and done it with style. I can wholeheartedly give them a recommendation! I got three quotes and SmartHomeCharge were one of the cheapest and were the quickest to get back to me. The whole process of receiving a quote was also the easiest on there site. Like I said before, from start to finish it ran so smoothly and much quicker then I thought, I have the Charger fitted and ready! Roman fitted the charger and did an excellent neat job and was very friendly and left the place clean 👍🏼 I can’t yet comment on the Ohme charger as I don’t receive my car until December, but will leave a review of that at a later date when I’ve had a chance to use it properly. SmartHomeCharge is Highly Recommended by me!

Went through the set up with Craig and app refused to connect via the Internet. At this point if you need a charger with app features do not buy Project EV charger.

The electrical testing of my house was done with great professionalism following a burst pipe in my bathroom. They checked not only lighting which I had a problem with but whole of the ground floor. They phoned to make an appointment and the Electrician came first thing next day. The outside of his van was clean as was his unionform. He had not got full PPE but only gloves which he wore during his visit. Can't comment on the value of money as he was sent as part of an insurance claim so the insurance company picked up the bill.

Had a Zappi Car Charger installed in July this year by Smart Home Charge (SMC). As I have solar panels and a home storage battery I needed a Harvi, Hub and CT clamps. They completed the installation fine fitting 2 CT clamps but their engineers have very little knowledge of how the Zappi is set up with the Harvi, Hub and CT clamps. I had to call Myenergie who make the Zappi to find out I needed a 3rd CT clamp which needed a second call out to SMC. They came and fitted the 3rd CT clamp but then discovered one of the other clamps was faulty so ordered another. Waited 2 months or so for them to return to fit a replacement clamp (Covid the problemthere I expect). However the engineer himself said they fit several types of car charge points but they simply are not fully trained in the full inner workings of the Zappi or how it works with the Myenergie App and Hub etc. Bit disappointed when I heard that. They are certainly not Zappi experts. Having said that their engineer, Craig, was as helpful as he could be and even said I could ring him direct if I had further problems and he would try to help. The Myenergie App did seem to reset itself after he had left so fingers crossed he has fixed the set up this time. He did also suggest I speak to Myenergie again to refine the set up of my Zappi etc if the problems return. But wouldn't you think that as they advertise themselves as Smart Home Charge (the clue is in the name "SMART" then shouldn't they ensure that their engineers are fully conversant with the chargers they are fitting?
