Steve was by far one of the best tradesmen I have met. Had a bad experience with a “preferred” manufacturer’s local installer with bad communications and no-show over 2 days, in comparison, Steve was highly professional, quick to respond to calls and willing to fit in with my very tight time schedule, what more do consumers want? Ah yes, the price, Steve also quoted a good price for fitting my EV charger. My charger was installed neatly and professionally, although I had to ask Steve to return to complete the installation which wasn’t his fault. All in all, I highly recommend Steve and sure will use his professional skills more in future, in fact, I have already recommended his services to a friend whose having problems with his consumer units. Steve was bang on time. I had a bathroom light not working and an extractor fan to check as thought is was not working correctly. He diagnosed the problems quickly. Reset extractor fan, no didn't need a new one and found a similar light fitting I needed on line, found the best price and off i went to get it as shop was close to my house. He fitted it straight away. Job done. Very friendly and respectful. Will definitely use again. I have already recommended him to two family members. Price very reasonable.

Steve got back to us immediately after our enquiry on Boxing Day late afternoon, called early evening to discuss the issue and came out to install a new consumer unit early the next morning. He was able to provide support and guidance before arriving and once here, identified and isolated the problem quickly and professionally. Steve is great and provided an excellent, efficient and value for money service. I would highly reccomend him to anyone. He fitted new switches to our fuse box, rectified a fault that rendered it electrically unsafe which we didn't even know was there! So lucky we got that sorted at the same time. He also fitted new sockets, and kitchen and bathroom lights. For several hours of an electrician's labour this normally would be breaking the bank, but not in this case, Steve is a rare find these days, so much so I had already booked him again for another job before he had even finished. There wasn't anything he didn't know or couldn't explain, was on the lookout for any alternative cheaper solutions to save customers money where possible, and went the extra mile to make sure all fittings installed were neat and tidy, and showed no signs of rushing around to just get it done quickly, as I say a rare find so, highly knowledgeable, a great job well done and I highly reccomend, happy days!

I was looking for an electrician to carry out 5 jobs for us, so after doing research, I telephoned the the 3 "best electrians" in Plymouth to get quotes for the :work that we wanted done. The first reply we received was a quote for a completely different job, when our correct quote arrived, "how much 😳". The second advised me to not install garden lights using electricity, but use solar lights, ( that's not what we wanted). The 3rd electrian never even give us a qoute. Steve came to us within two hours of being called on a Sunday. After puzzling over our haphazard and poorly installed electrics in the kitchen, he found the problems, rerouted, rewired, and generally reconfigured everything that was wrong, leaving us with a working boiler at last,as well as everything else sorted and working. As he had spent over 5 and a half hours with us, I wrestled the dust pan and broom away from him and sent him on his way with his well deserved and very reasonable money. He was polite, prompt, and an absolute pleasure, not even remarking on the plumes of dust and dog hair that he was crawling around in. Highly recommended to everyone.
