James is nothing short of amazing. Fantastic service from start to finish. When all other electricians IGNORED me, James did the opposite and came to see my house on the same day at 7pm! The work that was carried out was to an excellent quality, and I would recommend James to anyone. He genuinely cares which is rare to see these days. James said he was coming on a Sunday morning which suited me well as I work away all week. His van was immaculate and James was very well presented even down to his "house" shoes. James spent time with me to go through the various jobs and to make sure we got what we wanted and then just cracked on. He made sure that dust covers were used and he was immaculate in everything he did. He even did some extras that had previously been done by other tradesman that weren't up to his standards. Absolutely awesome James, highly recommended.

Believe his reviews. James is as good as they say he is! Another electrician let me down and the work needed doing before the plasterer was due on the Tuesday. Called James at 18:30 on the Thursday, came at 20:30 Friday to look at the job, arrived to do the install at 09:30 Sunday. Professional, polite and sincere. Expected to be charged a premium for the short notice/ quick response/ evening/ weekend working but was pleasantly surprised, so I threw a tip in anyway. James is a good person who should be, and is, proud of his work. We won’t be using anyone else now.

James fitted 2 new light fittings in my dining kitchen. He was very thorough, friendly, patient & had a close attention to detail. I rang Ambiance Electrical mid afternoon & James came to my house at 5pm the same day to find out what I needed doing. I was impressed at this stage. I also enquired about having an outside light fitting but as there was no wiring & it would be very costly for me James suggested I buy a solar light fitting. He would even come back & screw this into the wall for me. James initially came to just look at the job but once he arrived he actually offered to fit my kitchen diner light fittings while he was at the house. I was absolutely thrilled - it was going dark by the time he left! I cannot recommend James highly enough & will definitely use his services again.

James diagnosed a faulty wiring circuit and then carried out the replacement of the external wiring to our shed in armoured cable. In addition, on carrying out his safety checks, he also detected and repaired a further 2 faulty electrical sockets which we were unaware of. He is very professional, makes sure he sees the job through to the end (even came back the following day on a Saturday to finish off his work) and his charges were very affordable. He’s not someone who charges for work that isn’t necessary.

We decided to make use of James' services following the amazing reviews we saw. We were not disappointed. He came around 12, the day after we requested callback from him. He worked for the next ten hours, solving the many problems, finding faults and repairing. He did not leave until he ensured everything was safe, we had hot water, and the majority of the house had electricity again. Gave us advice on the problems that couldnt be fixed on the day. His work was extremely thorough and professional. You can really tell how much experience he has, and how much he loves his job. I can't tell you how much I recommend. I certainly know that he will be the one to call if we have any more problems with electricity in the future.

Supplied with enough tea or coffee to supply an army 😊 (I was more than happy to supply), we would highly recommend James (without bias) to anyone reading this considering electrical work. He is a hard-working, consummate, skilled electrical professional. His main attributes include his knowledge, thoroughness, trustworthiness, reliability, skill set and tidiness. James worked on a particularly challenging job, but his problem-solving skills are excellent. James not only carried out the work we requested, but James also went over and above that to ensure other sockets in out house were safe, and this eased our minds tremendously (there were wires that needed attention on one of the sockets – (now repaired). He did this almost as a matter of fact, and his own conscientiousness. He left us with advice for future changes we may need to consider, which although were not urgent, furnished us with additional advice which we are taking into consideration to complete, and general electrical work to future consider (without pressure). At no time were we “unaware” of what work was being carried out – James kept us informed all thorough his work. Summing up his work, we could not highly recommend James enough. His work, advice and demeanour are exceptional. On a personal level, he is just a thoroughly great guy to have working in your home – even winning over our rather nervous dog and becoming great friends with him! He is friendly, personable, witty, and interacted with the whole family. Most importantly, we trust our new electrical work fully to be safe and up-to extremely high standards. 5 stars aren't enough for James, he worked tirelessly to find an intermittent fault in our lighting, and he patiently explains things along the way so that you feel involved and informed. He did a few other bits and pieces where necessary along the way, making everything safer and tidier. He is a very skilled electrician, and will be honest with you and provide recommendations for future improvements or things that you might need to replace in the next few years. The work he did was for a very good price, considering he came out at short notice and over the bank holiday weekend. Friendly, genuine guy, cannot recommend enough!

We called Jim at 8 am, desperate for power, as our circuit panel had broken due to previous cowboy wiring, where the wires had been poorly installed, causing them to short out and spark. Jim was round at our property that afternoon. Once the issue was diagnosed, Jim went out of his way to get us back up and running. I employed James to install my oven and some electric switch sockets which due to previous poor electrical work from another electrician turned out to be far more complicated than expected. A job that was expected to take 1-2 hrs turned out to be an all day job but James dealt with all the problems in a thorough & professional way . He was very knowledgeable, friendly and able to explain technical things to laypeople and was overall just great to have around. I was really impressed with the little things: being interested in my hydroponics project enough to do research and advise on reliability (the pump will need to run 24/7 or all my plants will die), the new stickers on our box, tidying up after the job and leaving the rooms he worked in almost sparkling. Also wasn't bothered by our overly friendly dog following him everywhere and wanting to play, bringing toys. James and neil, was highly recommended for a full re wire of an 1860s house, they came for an inspection prior to having works started, they checked our electrics throughly and showed us how dangerous they were, week later they came and carryed out a full rewire from top to bottom, they was on time every day and stayed late on some nights too There dedication and comitment to there works is a credit to them, service with a smile and also very compitent.....
