Replacement key fob for my Hyundai i40. Car came with two keys - one kept as a spare, the other used until it recently fell apart. I have since been using the second key but wanted to get a replacement spare key for emergencies. Great service - no appointment needed, all done within 30mins at a very good price. Highly recommended.

Colin charges reasonable prices, and never bills you for work that doesn't need doing. Staff are polite and helpful, and won't try to trick or mislead you. The car is always ready when they say it will be. Thanks to EU rules introduced a few years ago, you no longer have to take your car to a main dealer to protect the warranty, as long as the garage you use has the right equipment and services the car according to the manufacturer's guidelines.

I've taken my car there 4 times over the past few years. Every time they've fixed it without any problems at all. Recently I've had a complex climate control fault fixed that the Skoda main dealer was completely useless about, but Foxtec did it and fixed it with ease. They don't add on any extras and don't try to get you to have unnecessary work like many other garages. Highly recommended.

I contacted Foxtec services by email as I had an issue with the ABS on my VW Polo and wanted a repair quote. Another garage had diagnosed the fault and told me I needed a whole replacement system. Colin replied promptly with some fantastic advice and a photo of another problem it could have been, which I passed over to the other mechanic at the garage my car had been at .....and Colin was right! it was only a little corrosion near a terminal - this saved me so much money! I would definitely recommend these guys!! they won't rip you off!

We travelled down to Southampton from Swansea this week to purchase a van at a nearby dealer. There was only one key supplied with the van, but the dealer cut us a new one and told us to call down to Colin at Foxtec services to have it coded to the van. We drove down to the garage and despite clearly being very busy and not knowing we were coming, Colin agreed to code the key for us before our drive back home. Not only did he do this for us, but first re-cut another key because the first had not been done properly and wouldn't open the door. All this was done with no fuss and thoroughly professionally. These guys are obviously very good at what they do, and I wish they were in Swansea !!! Thank you Colin for helping us, you're a diamond.

Booked my car here in the morning as my Audi A4 B6 02 had the following issue ESP/ABS light on and no speedometer. By 14:00hrs the same day he they had fixed the issue and rang me to collect my car. Decent, honest and reliable guys in Southampton! Warning: they are a very busy garage. My appointment was pre booked 1.5 weeks in advance.

All I can say is that NO other garage I have used can compare. They are efficient,helpful,competetive and most of all in this day and age HONEST!! They do not do anything that is not needed, just give advice. Would go nowhere else-but one downside is that they are so good you have to be prepared to wait for an appointment most of the time-still worth the wait for peace of mind! Roy Young
