He was very knowledgeable with the products available but also made us aware of things we would need to consider in our home, things that we hadn't thought of. Wow what a service we’ve had from this company! From our first visit to quiet literally have a little look around we received very helpful and honest advice from a completely non pushy staff member…the next thing we knew we found a fire that we absolutely loved and put the deposit down, we had the recommended gas engineer to come out and measure up, make sure everything would be ok etc and thank goodness we did! The best £35 survey money we’ve ever paid because it turned out we couldn’t have a gas fire in our new home…Luke (manager) was so helpful after this point, as you can imagine we were disappointed that we couldn’t have the fire we originally loved and to our total surprise when we returned to the showroom Luke had numerous options available for us, even one which was near enough exactly the same as the gas original but just electric! After spending a fair bit of time in the showroom debating which electric fires we likes we decided on this beauty! We now couldn’t be more pleased that we couldn’t have the gas fire we originally wanted! So long story short….all of the staff members we came into contact with were extremely helpful but Luke was just lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience great! The fire itself is amazing quality!

We were also concerned about the fitting, being of 'mature years' we did not want the maul of having to do this ourselves. There are lots of fireplaces and fires on show and most of them are working so you can see what you are buying. There is no pressure on you while you are looking round so you can take your time . We purchased a 54" marble fire place and electric fire which was exactly what we were looking for. Ian was very helpful and informative .The fire place and fire were delivered on time and looks fantastic now its fitted. I must also thank Stoke Gas for hand delivering a bottle of champagne that was mistakenly overlooked when the goods were delivered . They drove from Stoke to our house which is 22 miles away now thats what I call excellent service! Thank you

We had recently had our back boiler and fire removed and wanted to replace the fire with a realistic electric fire. Luke gave us great advice and stopped us making an amateur error in buying a fire that was too narrow. He showed us alternatives and in the end we chose a fabulous Elgin and Hall model which we are over the moon with. Their recommended fitter was great too and went above and beyond by invisibly repairing a crack in the fireplace back panel. Local service as it should be. Well done all.

I ordered an electric fire on Wednesday it arrived on Monday. It was fitted by the weekend as we had to get a gas fitter to remove and cap off the gas supply.Fitting was easy after we had made the opening slightly larger to fit the inset fire in.Friends have remarked how nice the flame effects look. We were looking for a particular fire after having seen it on display in another fire showroom in the North West. As it was quite an expensive fire we knew we needed to purchase it from someone with expertise. We obtained a few approved suppliers from the Gazco website and when we saw the fantastic reviews for Stoke Gas we decided we just had to visit the the shop. This was the best decision we made. We dealt with Ian who was extremely helpful & gave us nothing but good sound advice, his knowledge was fantastic & we knew very quickly that we were in safe hands. We purchased the Gazco Riva 650 HL fire with a limestone surround, to say we are over the moon with it would be an understatement. The fitters who installed it did an absolutely fantastic job, it could not have been done any better from start to finish. The end result was absolutely superb and we love it. Cannot recommend Ian and his team there enough.

We settled on a Corda slimline and as a bonus, got a call the following day to say they had a cancellation and the fire could be fitted within 30 minutes. Myself and my husband call into stoke gas on Saturday the show room is amazing we were spoilt for choice there were so many surrounds and fires to choose from gas and electric, the gentleman in the shop was so helpful answered all our question , and there was no hard sell he let us wonder around browsing at leisure, he even told us a surround we like could possibly be made slightly bigger if needed , after about 40 minutes we left undecided unable to choose from the many fires , when we got home we looked through all the photos we were allowed to take and made a decision and returned the following day had another chat about our choice of fire and surround , we paid a small deposit, it was very stress free , friendly and no hard sell , I felt no pressure to buy and feel we were given brilliant advise 👍🏻👍🏻 Stoke gas was recommend to us and I would definitely recommend them again to my friends and family .
