As a landlord in the Swindon area I used Carlo (Maya Electrical Service) for the first time to replace a couple of smoke alarms. The work was carried out on time, to the agreed cost and the lines of communication were good. Yes, this is a relatively small job but you can tell a lot from a tradesman with such work. I was so pleased that when I had another job, carrying out a landlord electrical inspection, Carlo was my first port of call. I was not disappointed and the work was carried out to a very high standard. An honest assessment was made of the remedial work required and various options were given to me in language that I could understand so that I could make an informed decision. Carlo obviously takes great pride in his work, works hard and goes the extra mile to satisfy the customer. Carlo is friendly and works around the tenant schedule. As a busy landlord, there are certain times you have to trust a tradesman and Carlo is a person you can trust to just get the job done, on schedule, at a competitive price, to a high standard. As an landlord, you can then go about your other commitments without having any concerns about if the job has been done properly or the tradesman failing to show up. As an experienced landlord, these qualities are not easy to find in a tradesman! So when you do find these qualities, you put the company contact in your phone book and if/when an electrical work is required you have a single point of contact, confident in the knowledge that the issue will be sorted efficiently. That's all you can ask for as a landlord.

Carlo and the team have been fantastic! We have just gone through a ground floor kitchen/diner extension and part conversion of our garage so required extra wiring and re-wiring on the ground floor. Carlo came up with some excellent ideas to enhance the services in the home eg more data cables run throughout the house, infrastructure ready for electric vehicle charging and lighting options, all of which we went with and we are very happy with the outcome! Carlo and the team go above and beyond, I wouldn't consider using any other electrical contractor since having him work on our property! thanks again!

Carlo was prompt and professional. We needed some 'minor' work doing that was slowing down the application for an electric vehicle charger (something he has experience of). He was available to visit the property the day after speaking to him and quoted for the work. We were happy for him to go ahead and complete the work there and then. He was contactable via text, WhatsApp etc., providing a certificate of the work done and advised on the exact wording to include in the application to describe the job he had just completed.

We used Maya Electrical Services from a recommendation from a friend as our regular electrician was unable to help us with our request. Carlo initially came out and carried out an electrical survey on our new house we were purchasing, we wanted the survey for peace of mind that the property was electrically sound as it is over 40 years old. As well as providing the electrical survey Carlo also supported us in removing our lighting systems from our old house and installing them in the new house. Along with the lights we also had our Nest thermostat heating system removed from our old house and installed into our new house. In addition to the above Carlo also installed a PIR light sensor for our outdoor lighting system & we have also consulted with him to carry out further electrical work on our property in the future as we have been pleased with the level of work that has been carried out on the property to date. WIth all the above in mind we would definitely recommend Maya Electrical Services to anyone who requires an electrician for any electrical job big or small or if they are looking for recommendations as to how to improve your property, then Maya Electrical Services is for you.
