Fantastic service! Asked John to install a pair of domestic CCTV systems & investigate a faulty shower, ended up finding the problem with the shower & fixing it the same day! will definitely be calling back when me and my partner plan to put an extension on or house in the near future. NB - its always a pleasure to be in the company of professional, experienced & motivated tradesmen, would definitely recommend Halton Electrical.

I found Halton Electrical through searching Google, and looking at the reviews. I am so glad I did, having been let down badly in the past by other electricians. John was quick to identify a couple of problems that I was having with my home electrics, fixing one problem immediately and offering to come back to fix the other once he’d looked into the correct parts availability, along with providing a full costing. Having had the second problem fixed, I had no hesitation in asking John to quote on some further work which I’ve been meaning to get done for as long as I can remember. The quotes given were in my opinion reasonable and fair, and the subsequent work carried out again to a high standard. Another reason why I’d recommend Halton Electrical is the prompt replies to emails and calls, and the turning up to do the job exactly when agreed. Thank you John (and Ceris).

I had a problem of repeated power failures when switching on certain lights and appliances. I had asked my previous electrician for advice but he was unable to help. I contacted John Halton after after an internet search for a local electrician. His response was immediate, firstly advising me to try a number of simple tests to determine results before proceeding further. Two days later I contacted him by email and advised that I was still subject to power failures and he told me that he would attend the following day and asking me to email a picture of the consumer unit. He arrived the next day and almost immediately determined the problem and had with him the correct replacement part. The service, from initial email to completion was efficient, courteous and highly professional and I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. I shall certainly call them in future should I need electrical work and will recommend them to others whenever I can. I had additional work carried out in March 2021 while I was overseas, my wife was at home at the time. Had a new cooker hood in stalled, a new extractor fan in a bathroom and four fluorescent tube lights installed in my garage. The work was as expected, professional, efficient, courteous and with the minimum of fuss. On completion the work areas were clean and tidy. I returned to Halton Electrical because of their previous excellent work and am happy to say that the high standards in all repects are still in place. I will use them again should I need any electrical work.

First off, I'm an electrical engineer myself so definitely qualified to review Halton Electrical.... He has completed numerous industrial installations for me in the factory where I work. These have been anything from additional sockets, changing of lighting to full installation of 200amp mains board, and installation of a number of machine tools. John, apart from being a great guy, is a brilliant electrical engineer. He works non-stop, and always completes any project on time to the highest standards - from unistrut through to absolutely impeccable mains board wiring, I have never had even a minor gripe on workmanship. I trust John Halton Electrical that much that I have recently used him to investigate a problem in my own home. What more can I say? As an electrical engineer with 25 years experience I trust John implicitly and will continue to use him whenever I can and would highly recommend him.

I have had a number of electrical jobs carried out by John and been very impressed every time. John is conscientious, courteous and very efficient. He has given me advice on all the options available to me for the type of work that needed doing and given fair quotes. He turns up on time on the agreed days and there's never been any delay on certification for jobs such as the new consumer unit I had installed.
