S. D.I deal with the management of a few rental properties and have dealt with several different contractors over the years. By far the staff at JDL are the most courteous, helpful, professional and efficient team I have come across in a while. Whenever I have had a repair the staff are on it - somebody is able to attend to the work quickly and when that job is done the report back is thorough with photographic evidence of what has been done. The engineers explain what they are doing whilst carrying out works at properties to our tenants which is great customer service. Unfortunately Ann I believe has moved on but Rich, Sam Michaela and the rest of the team come highly recommended!!!

S. R.Excellent service from JDL since the first phone call to them, very pleasant people to speak to. The only issue was that the lady taking the customers calls did not communicate well with the plumber who was coming to do the work, therefore the incorrect information was passed on so the guy couldn't complete the job on the day stated.
However, the guy that came, Connor, was extremely pleasant and professional, he apologised for the miscommunication with the office lady, and reassured me that the job would get done in the end. Which it certainly did, when he came back, again he was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure the job was done to a high standard. His communication was excellent and he was extremely efficient.

S. M.We've used JDL several times for annual boiler services, but this time it was an install of a new Vaillant boiler.
In terms of the work done, the new boiler is soooo much better than our old one. It's quiet, and efficiently keeps the house at even temperature, unlike the old one that fluctuated wildly and didn't feel efficient at all. Everything was installed neatly, and any little gaps left from new holes drilled or old holes left over were made good to a high standard.
Connor, the installer, was excellent throughout the day when fitting the boiler: prompt arrival, very polite, thorough in his work, he took care to explain what he was doing, and cleaned thoroughly after finishing. Connor is a real credit to JDL. Well done!
S. L.Same day service for a problem I caused myself...look where I’m putting nails into a wall next time ! The engineer who attended, Jack, called before arriving, was friendly but professional, communicated what he was doing throughout and did a great job. First time I’ve used JDL but my experience from calling at 7.30 this morning to having the problems fixed by lunchtime, at a reasonable cost, was excellent. Professional and responsive from end to end. No hesitation in recommending.

Y. F. M. L.I have used JDL several times now, from electrical installation on a new kitchen and dining room, to annual boiler maintenance, as well as external lighting on a large are of decking. This week they have repaired our gas boiler at very short notice, as we were left without any hot water. Their customer service is second to none, and we have always felt that their charges have been very fair, and have never differed from the original price quoted. Their employees are polite and professional, and clean up at the end of the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody.
V. S.JDL installed a new RCD a few months ago, after we've had years of the electricity supply tripping off even when a light bulb blew. They came to assess the job when they said they would, they gave us a reasonable quote and did the job efficiently and professionally. Best of all we've had no trouble whatsoever with it since! Absolutely brilliant! Definitely recommended.
