A. J.I have been a teacher now for a long time and I've worked with at least six different agencies. Tradewind is by far the best agency I've ever worked with! They are sensitive and intelligent about the
teachers that they match to schools- they genuinely will work hard to give the teacher and schools what they want and need. Their pay is also above average rates. I always say to people I meet don't bother with the other agencies, you'll only have negative experiences and teaching is tough enough -go straight to best, Tradewind.

Every single person I have dealt with, in this organisation is so positive and friendly and always responds quickly to emails/phonecalls/messages. S. C.Ever since I have graduated I have always done agency work.. I have worked with numerous agencies.. I never settled with one because they have never been good enough. However since 2019 I have worked with Tradewind, my Consultant Charlotte has been sooooo amazing! She immediately responses to all my needs, whether it be at 2am or even on weekends! She is fantastic, I can happily say I am no longer with several agencies and only with tradewind now working long term at a school, which Charlotte provided for me, meeting all my needs (part time needs) and she even located me at a school down the road from where I live! Absolute superstar! Everyone at tradewind are so helpful and interlinked they immediately help you and get back to you whenever you need them.. I would give 100 stars if I could..
K. P.A brilliant agency to work for. Registration process was pretty simple, straight forward and very efficient. I have worked for a few other agencies in the past, but I have found Tradewind to be the best of all, with a better rate of pay compared to the others. I have been working for Tradewind Birmingham since 2018. Jack and his team are exceptionally professional, extremely friendly, caring, understanding and hardworking. Jack is available pretty much 24/7 to provide support and respond to any queries. I have mostly dealt with Jack and a few times with Ashleigh, Charlotte and Aneesa, who are also very friendly and helpful.
Every member of Tradewind responds to phone calls, emails and messages promptly and efficiently. Jack has always listened to my needs and endeavoured to match with preferred type of the placement without applying any pressure. Every school that I am assigned to has been a perfect match to my preferences. He goes above and beyond to look after every teacher. This starts from booking the assignment, sending confirmations via email all the way through to submitting timesheets via the portal. As a result of the excellent work of the team I have always been paid on time, never having to chase for outstanding pay. Since I have joined Tradewind I have been offered plenty of work matched to my availability.
School leaders speak highly of Jack and this demonstrates that he and his team have built a strong positive relationship with client schools. Likewise, Jack is always keen to convey positive feedback from schools, thereby facilitating a three-way relationship between school, agency and teacher. I have already recommended Tradewind Birmingham to friends and colleagues.
In addition to the day to day allocation of assignments the Agency provide regular free CPD courses which are both useful and informative. During the pandemic lockdown the agency organised CPD sessions to provide staff development. Throughout the pandemic Jack has maintained contact with me, updating me on developments and checking on my wellbeing. They handled the furlough provision exceptionally well. Megan Oberine in payroll responded promptly giving detailed information and illustrations of how the scheme would work on a personal level.
