Five Education have been brilliant, and Robb has been a great support. Having signed up last December he quickly found me a fantastic long term placement at a primary school in north Bristol. A great school and lovely, but challenging kids to work with. Its been tough at times but Robb is always there at the end of the phone if needed, and makes sure to tell you that as often as possible! I can't fault this agency as a whole though, the admin side is on top of things and the agency/Robb makes sure you are paid on time and will get you the fairest deal possible on your daily rate which I haven't experienced to this degree elsewhere. I am looking forward to continuing working with Five for the next few years? as I progress to training as a teacher and beyond.

I worked at 5Education from February 2019 until July 2019, I had a very good experience, both Matt and Claire have been very helpful and good at understanding what schools suited me best. I especially enjoyed having permanent positions as it gave me a chance to establish a relationship with the children and understanding their needs. I was quite lucky and managed to get to my schools mainly by bike, but it can sometimes happen that you have to cover longer distances if the school is outside of Bristol. I just made clear that I preferred staying local and 5Ed was always understanding. I also got a Team teach certificate through 5Ed which has been very interesting and useful as it is required or desirable in certain schools. Pay is ok (like other agencies) but to be honest I found it very hard to make a living with this as my main job. Hours are good, generally 8.3-3.30 with some early finish so time to dedicate to your own stuff or second job.

I'd like to share my most positive experience working for Five Education. Matthew and Claire are both truly concerned with both the people that work for them as with the children at the schools they send these people to. Matthew has been in education himself and you can definitely notice his feel and knowledge of the environment of schools, this makes it easy and helpful to discuss work experiences with him. Coming to work for Five Education from a foreign country, Matthew and Claire both did their best to make me feel at home with their company and within their work procedures. Claire makes sure that you are up to date with all the forms that you need and gives you useful and practical information which makes it easy to start. I have worked through several large agencies, and some smaller ones, and I can honestly say that Five Education is at the top of my list. Mat and Claire are genuine and hard working people, who do their utmost to find you a role that suits your needs. I've now worked in several different schools with Five Education - SEMH, SEN and mainstream - and each experience has been positive in terms of clear communication from Mat and Claire, accurate descriptions of the role and clear expectations once on site. I had previously been messed around over the course of a year by a large well known agency (starts with an 'R' and has 4 letters!), who didn't specialise purely in education as Five Education do. So it was a breath of fresh air to discover Five - they were actually recommended to me by one of the schools I was already working in, and since making the switch, work has been consistent and varied. O would highly recommend Five Education if you're looking to do some more meaningful work in the education sector.

Five Education are made up of 4 wonderful humans that are just brilliant. They are professional, experienced and extremely un-agent like. My experience working for them felt supportive, honest and always had their focus on the students and TAs as opposed to money and reputation. I decided early on to only sign with them and never regretted it. Being a supply TA/LSA can be tough going to new places often but with them I felt assured each and every time. Advertised pay was reflected in take home wages, extra training was provided free of charge, part-time work looking to go permanent was achieved, Matt made himself available to communicate at unsocial hours, the whole experience is transparent and honest- not so with KPI driven Education Recruiters such as `Monarch` or `Teacher Hub` who promise work, but ultimately lack integrity.
