Shame I can't give more stars! I put my CV on 'CVLibrary' as I was in need of a new job and was contacted very quickly by Spec. I was looking for an administration role and Jackie (job recruiter who dealt with me) said I was overqualified for that but said if I was interested in it, she could find me some roles. I asked what she thought I was qualified to do based on my experience and after a good chat on the phone, we decided on what area I would like to move into. That afternoon, she sent me 2 jobs being advertised for what I was now looking at! All in all, I got the job I wanted out of the 2! In summary: - Fast Email replies - Always contactable by phone (in reasonable hours) - Quick and efficient and finding openings for you - Excellent advice on what area to move into if you're not 100% sure - Friendly service & warm and welcoming - Would 100% recommend to a friend and use again

Jackie was absolutely brilliant - she found me a job within hours of seeing my CV, pushed me through to a first interview after one day and had the job offer after four days. Spec recruitment offer the best all round recruitment agency service. From the first moment I walked in to register my details, I was welcomed with a friendly team and a cup of tea. Jackie, Natasha and Anne-Marie really do know how to put people at ease and also make you feel like one of their family. I initially signed up with Spec to find some immediate temporary work, and Spec certainly lived up to that expectation! After only a few moments of arriving and completing my forms, I was offered my first assignment, which I was lucky enough to stay in for two months. I would have no hesitation in recommending Spec. Overall, I have found Spec to be an attentive, fun and hard working agency. They treated me like an individual, and all the staff are absolutely delightful! I first signed up with Spec in 2013, but did not get any work through them. I re-registered in Feb 2015, and Jackie remembered me and knew exactly who I was, and really helped me out finding work as soon as possible. I did a couple of day's work at very short notice, and then had a 10 week placement through them. All through the placement, they were checking up on me, making sure everything was ok and reminding me to send in my timesheets. It’s a daunting thing, looking for a new job, especially if it’s through redundancy rather than choice but, I can honestly say that dealing with the ladies at Spec was a complete pleasure! They didn’t make me feel at all intimidated by it all having been in employment for the past 30 years and suddenly finding myself jobless. They were professional, yet friendly from start to finish, in fact, seem to have mastered that perfect balance of recruitment consultant/friend down to a tee. They listened to what type of role I wanted and didn't try and push me into any old role they were trying to fill which I have found with other recruitment companies. If they said they would call me with an update in a week then they did, if my Consultant was off that day the call was made by one of her colleagues, if they didn't have anything for me they still called to let me know what was happening which is much nicer then being ignored for weeks on end - which again, I found was the case with some other recruitment companies I was using.
