The Staffroom Education team have been amazing every step of the way. So friendly, professional, responsive and proactive. They were very patient with me during the registration process and while I found childcare for my son, and gave me support whenever I needed it. Jess C really looked after me throughout the registration process and was super quick to reply to emails answering my questions and providing support. Due to Covid agencies arent able to provide much work. But staffroom they have been great with finding me local places in my area now and then. They are nice people to work with. I would defo recommend them as they can easily find places for you. They call and leave voicemails to still let you know about what they have for you. UPDATE: after posting my three star review earlier, I was quickly contacted by the agency to discuss the issue below. After having a nice chat with Ajaz, he assured me that it was an error on their part and that they have resolved it. Turns out, if you’re on long term placements with them, they subsidise the costs Numbermill charge so you’re left with what your true rate is. I wasn’t aware of this and unfortunately it didn’t go through right with me, meaning I ended up paying the hefty costs. Never the less, no more than 24 hours later they phoned me to discuss the issue and put it right. Once again, they’ve showed how much they value the reputation of their business and the appreciation for the staff on their books by acknowledging their mistake and putting it right; something that rarely happens in business! I left the previous review below to give some context as to what I’m saying, but please disregard it. They are a fab agency to work with. Highly recommend! Thank you again! - - - - - - - - - - Nice people to talk to. I’ve always had work from them and they do their best to make sure you’re placed where you want. They have also been very supportive over the Coronavirus pandemic. That said, I’m giving this three stars because they work through an umbrella company (Numbermill) which takes quite a sizeable chunk from your wages on top of taxes which is a real shame. I’m aware this is common practice with most agencies, but there are agencies that don’t do this and in this day and age, anything to disrupt the market can only be a good thing. If you ditched Numbermill so we get fair pay for the hours we have worked, this would have been a five star review! No one should have to pay to be in work! Other than that, they are a great agency with great people!
