I got in contact with Daniel at OPM when I was looking for a programming position and his response was very impressive. We spoke immediately about the type of position and company I was looking for and he very quickly provided a good number of very suitable positions. Within a day or two he managed to set up three interviews and garnered interest from a few more companies beside that. Highly professional yet very friendly; I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for work in the games industry!

Got in contact with Jon and he was very helpful and easy to get along with. In no time he got me in contact with a few companies and they were very realistic in scope for somebody at my (lower) level of experience. Just a week later I got to enjoy two interviews and a job offer. Communication was very efficient and direct, as they tend to call you as soon as there are updates on your situation. It takes out a great deal of decision making stress for yourself. Also got some good advice on CV format.

I worked for OPM from September 2015 to September 2018. As recruitment agencies go, these guys are amazing. Until I worked there, I had never seen a team with more passion for what they do and for each other's success. These guys REALLY care about how they can help people find their next jobs. They won't force people to do what they don't want to do but they also won't tell people just what they want to hear either. Honesty is this company's main and best policy whether it be with their candidates, clients, or their employees. They really put the "Consultant" into Recruitment Consultant.
Working in the video games industry was a great thrill as I got to speak to some of my heroes (being a gamer myself). The creativity and energy from that industry filtered into workforce at OPM which made every day enjoyable. Although the recruitment profession can have its ups and downs, I can't think of a single day where I didn't look forward to coming into work.
OPM is a company that will invest in its employees. Providing that you are honest, hard-working, and willing to push yourself further, the company will support your development through training with monthly one-on-ones with your manager, fortnightly training sessions, and ad-hoc refresher sessions. Every bit of support you receive at this company is constructive and aims to take you further in your career as a recruiter.
As a small family-run business, the mentality of the team is very much that of a family. The support you receive isn't just professional, it's also personal as there's a heavy focus on employee well-being. The company even offered a mindfulness course to its employees at one point, offers flexible working, and held weekly walking clubs during lunch. There's a friendly atmosphere in the office where people have fun and generally get along. Any friction or conflict in the office is dealt with quickly and effectively. Kim (the MD) sits on the floor with her employees and is always available to talk to, whether it be for advice or for a friendly chat.
All-in-all, if you get a chance to work for these guys, I'd say take it. The only reason for my departure from this company was for me to take my career path in a different direction (Learning and Development). However, although I no longer work there, I still consider myself a friend of OPM and I hope to keep in-touch with the wonderful people who work there.
Also their office dogs (Daisy and Pebbles) are gosh-darn adorable!

I’ve worked at OPM for over 9yrs and I really enjoy it here. Unlike most recruitment agencies, I'm given the freedom to be creative and run my desk as it's own mini-business. I really love working in the games industry. It's a great team, everyone pitches in and helps one another.

I worked with Jon Norfolk, and he really helped me to get a job. He gave me advices, regularly kept in touch every time something new appeared that matched my abilities... very efficient and nice assistance.
I strongly recommend him.

I had a really nice experience talking to Daniel and Claire from OPM, they found appropriate job offers for me very quickly and supported me through the process. They were very reactive, attentive to my needs and not pushy so their help was really appreciated !

Just spoke to them on the phone. Their service is as good as you'll get in recruitment.
