M. S.I would highly recommend The Teaching Team to anybody who is looking for a way to gain work experience in a school environment or to someone who wants to tailor the work to their lifestyle. Rachel and her team are very efficient, professional, fast at finding work and match their teaching staff with schools. People can offer availability that suits their needs and it doesn't have to stay fixed - they will be asked to update it on weekly basis. Communication with the office has always been clear, swift and all problems got resolved very quickly. I started as a supply teaching assistant: I would take one off and short term placements, then I was offered a year long placement that resulted in a permanent position within the school. I am very happy that I made the decision to team up with The Teaching Team over a year ago.
S. M.The Teaching Team is best. I was struggling for job and somebody told me about the agency. I spoke to Rachel and she made me feel like I am perfect and deserve this job. I been sent to few schools which was amazing and one of the schools had vacancies and they offered me job for a year. It's a shame I couldn't stay with the Teaching Team for longer but I will definitely go back to the agency one day. Rachel is lovely, never had a problem with her, she is always there to help and is easy going. I would highly recommend to work with The Teaching Team.

I was working through The Teaching Team at a school this year on supply and applied for a job advertised there. They then gave me a contract for my NQT induction year.
I never would have known about the school unless I completed the supply work so I owe Rachel and the team so much.
They have been incredibly supportive throughout my time with them and are always on hand to answer any query you may have.
Would highly recommend to any teacher but particularly to those who have recently qualified.
K. B.I have been working with The Teaching Team for 3 years now, having found the agency coming out of my teacher training. They have been a fantastic and supported me massively over my time with them and it is through them that I have secured my new permanent post.
Rachel and her team are always happy to help you out if you need it and quick to respond. It is through this agency I have been able to experience a range of roles across schools that I wouldn't have considered trying previously, which has greatly helped my confidence as a teacher and opened up new avenues for me to explore.
They always work hard to ensure that you have posts available and provide great flexibility in selecting the style of work that would best suit you, from half days to full days and on the day calls to pre booked. There has been very little time across the three years, with the exemption of the global pandemic which couldn't be helped, that I have not had consistent stable work through them.
I honestly couldn't have picked a better agency to work with and I cannot help but feel a little sad that I am now parting ways with my new post. Yet I have the wonderful team there and especially Rachel as without them I would not be where I am now. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for supply work.

K. S.I joined The Teaching Team due to a recruitment freeze across the education sector as a result of the Covid pandemic. I had already secured a direct part-time contract from a city school and needed some extra hours to fill the rest of the week. Having worked in Leicester/Leicestershire as a teacher since 2012 I knew The Teaching Team had a strong reputation across the city. I know several colleagues who have and are still working with the team, some of which have secured long term contracts and even permanent roles so I decided they would be the right team to work with in these difficult times.
In the past I had only dabbled in supply teaching for a month or so between my own direct school contracts so I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of opportunities, especially due to lockdowns, online learning, bubble closures etc. I thought it would be fairly quiet and it would be unrealistic to anticipate opportunities as I know there were many teachers in the same position as me who were joining supply agencies due to the recruitment freeze.
Rachel and the team were amazing! I was only expecting to be offered day to day supply, if that, but Rachel managed to secure me a part time contract, in my preferred key stage, until the end of the academic year straight away. This was above and beyond my expectations and lifted a huge weight off my shoulders as it was a guaranteed, regular income at a time when there were none/ barely any teaching opportunities. I cannot thank her enough.
Rachel and her team were approachable, professional and efficient. She was always at the end of the phone if there were any queries and always kept me fully updated on any developments and opportunities. She has also been there for me when I needed a ‘pick me up’ and was extremely supportive and knowledgeable. I have since secured a full-time direct contract so have sadly left The Teaching Team but I know, and Rachel has also assured me, that I can contact her at anytime about anything despite me having moved on in my career. I’m so glad I chose The Teaching Team to support me in these unprecedented times and should I ever need to return to supply teaching I will not hesitate to contact Rachel and her team again.

Teaching team were first suggested to me by my mentor 5 years ago, I joined with them and worked for 1 year but then needed to do my nqt year, I could have quite happily continued with supply! I then returned last year after 3 years of being a full time teacher. Rachel and Matt are great, I can literally ask them anything and it's so refreshing to be able to have honest conversations without any worry.
