I would like to say a massive thank you to Donna at Select Appointments. You went above and beyond to take the time to listen to me, find me the perfect job that I was looking for and also helped me to prepare for the interview that you lined up for me. You truly have made this experience one that I can remember and you really do make a positive impact in the world by doing what you call your job. Friendly, incredibly responsive and reliable! Absolutely spot on! Select rang me a day after I posted my CV on a job site. We had a chat and I went in to sign up and say hello. Spoke about the type of jobs I was after. The day after that they had managed to bag me two interviews. First job was ideal! Smashed the interview, got the job! All in the space of a week. Very impressed indeed. Having had poor experiences with agency’s in the past I was hesitant to go down that route, feeling like just another number on a computer screen being sent to rubbish jobs that would never fit. This isn’t like that at all. The staff at Select are honest, easy to talk to, they know what they’re doing and do it well. I highly recommend.

Probably the very first agency that provides amazing customer experience. Staff is very professional and friendly to the point where they have managed to find something that suits me in the first 30 minutes of walking in for the first time. Paperwork isn't as burdensome as in other recruitment agencies which is a big plus. I got an impression of genuine care from them due to the fact that they were always in contact with me as I was applying for chosen position and whenever I had an enquiry they responded asap.

Honest review - Good agency to work for, can find you fine temp work fast if necessary if you're in between jobs. Straightforward and never had an issue with them. Andrew and Donna are brilliant. Not given 5* because they have this girl working there now who is just an unpleasant person to talk to. Incredibly annoying and doesn't sound professional at all. Also could try and give you a call back when they say they will.

I have used Select in Lincoln on both sides - looking for a job / looking for an employee. On both occasions the service has been fantastic. I didn't find a job through them, but I felt very looked after and if I was looking for a job again, I would go back to them. Really nice people and they’ve found me a position. I’d say the only downside is the large volume of calls received on an almost daily basis. A lot of the time an email would suffice or it’s just a call to reiterate what was said on the previous days call. I understand it’s probably part of the job but it’s not really necessary.
