Appetite4work in Newcastle Upon Tyne is a very convenient place to work, especially if you are a student who wants to work part-time and have plenty of time left for your studies, with the option of working overtime if you need some extra cash. Wishing they were more full time positions available. Working as a Multi Skilled Operative, is fairly easy; its the type of work you don't have to take home with you, but you do need some stamina and mental resilience in order to cope with the monotony of the work. Company organisation seems to be quite good, specially Emily makes you feel at ease she is very friendly and very quick at responding emails and helps you if you can't have access to your apps that you need to check in before work, she allocates your rota at your best convenience too she is amazing to work with and sometimes she even works over work hours. On the other hand, everyone is very friendly and generally great to work with, there is a good collaborative spirit at my branch. Enthusiasm and great work ethic seem to be rewarded by the manager Kevin.

The team are exceptional, especially Michelle with whom I was personally in contact with, and their response time along with their friendly, reliable and honest approach was appreciated beyond belief. The main thing that has impressed me about working at appetite4work has been the communication whenever I have had a question or something to resolve . Things were dealt with in a timely fashion and most politely. I have found that my co workers have had the same experience also. I was treated the same as workers in terms of pay that were with another agency on the same site , all in all I have no complaints .

I have been working with Appetite4work as a plate waiter since 2018, i have worked with several other agencies. However, a major difference with appetite is that this agency takes the time to get to know their employees, you also get to know the people who work in the office too. Everyone is also really friendly and helpful, the shifts are really flexible and you literally work when you want, you can choose shifts that fit around your schedule. Even when it is quiet, the consultants try their best to find us work. With appetite4work i felt appreciated for my work and we are always thanked for our work! I now resource for them!

This agency have given me plenty of opportunities to work in the hospitality and catering industry since I started 6 weeks ago. I worked for Appetite 4 Work for a year after finishing sixth form and going straight into university. You can decide whether or not to take shifts that the company sends via email, and the best thing is that Appetite 4 Work didn't force shifts onto me. There were also multiple times I took extended periods of time to focus on uni work. From the beginning (being interviewed) to the very end, I never felt alone because the managers within the company were always willing to talk to me and answer my questions. I‘ve been with appetite4work for a little bit less than a year now and I‘ve had a great experience so far. Communication is really easy, everyone has always your best interest in mind and everyone is very nice. Through appetite I started working at the Brewery as a waitress, barista and receptionist. I received training that is helpful for me even past my employment for appetite and I‘m extremely grateful for that. It‘s a great place if you want to decide for yourself when you want to work as you can be as flexible with your hours as you want. All in all I‘d definitely recommend it.

They offer flexible hours as you can choose your availability from the job offers offered in the week. I really enjoy working for Appetite For Work, it allows me to study for university in London while earning money at the same time. Ive been working with A4W for around 2 and a half years and in that time i've Had the opportunity to work in the most diverse and unique places alongside a wonderful, caring and fun team. I’ve been able to work in stadiums, restaurants, bars, event halls and Kitchens. it has Played a Massive role in my life for the last two years. The fact that it’s flexible and easily accessible means I can do it in between my uni studies and the times I’m in London but also focus on the things that need to be focused on. I have met some wonderful people and some good friends. The money is decent and it means that I am able to live my life but also worked at a reasonable rate. The team behind appetite for work are some of the nicest and friendliest people they all want the best outcome for The team. Phew! And that’s Christmas! Finally have time to praise the support I’ve received from these great people. Having used many agencies over the years for Chefs and Front of house staff I’ve found it a daily battle, sometimes even harder than finding decent hard working staff. I've been working with APP4WORK since 2017 as a temp worker. Communication between the staff and managers are great. You are updated weekly with upcoming shifts via email or with their app; both are convenient. You have multiple opportunities to work in different places and learn new skills; from receptionist work to barista to waitress. I would recommend this agency to others.
