I have worked for Asq as a supply teacher since 2019, however I worked for them as a nqt in 2009 as well. The reason I returned to this agency was because they are absolutely fantastic at finding me jobs I can work around my childcare. What impressed me most about ASQ was the speed with which they were able to find me a job match and getting me started. As a new graduate who had signed up with ASQ I was able to find a match and start work at my new job just 2 days after my final exam! This transformed not only my summer plans post graduation but also the options I had available for me moving forwards in September. I have worked closely with Jessica Maldini who has been absolutely brilliant both in finding me opportunities and in providing additional support. When I needed various references for a new property application Jess spent hours of her time helping and providing evidence even though in many ways it was above and beyond what I could of expected from her. She got me interviews for positions that were paying higher than any other agency was offering and really listened to my feedback and preferences in order to help find not just any school but the right fit for me. My only negative critique of asq would be to do with there payment provider mainpay who take quite a significant amount of your weekly pay check before you have even been taxed or paid NI. I would hope in the future ASQ could find a better arrangement that better preserves the advertised salary of staff.

Working With ASQ. When I moved to London from Derby. I had just completed my PGCE. I was looking for several qualities in my first school. 1) A school in reasonable traveling distance. 2) One that would give me strong NQT training. 3) A more than one form entry school. So I could learn from my colleagues. ASQ Education was one of the many agencies that contacted me for teaching. Though out of all the agencies that contacted me I felt ASQ was the most supportive to my wants and needs. Some agencies tried to send me to interviews more than an hour away. In addition, some of them offered me repeated one form entry schools, despite me telling them my needs. ASQ, listened. Richard my consultant was lovely. He listened to my needs. Troubleshooted my problems and was on hand to provide advice. After leaving full time teaching to go on supply I immediately sought to rejoin ASQ. I have not regretted this decision. Richard secures me work for the hours I need and gives good feedback. In working with ASQ I have managed to secure supply for the rest of the term. This is due to Richards good relation with the school, and him informing me of the details in a quick and efficient manner. I would recommend ASQ Education to any one looking for an agency that listens. They do a fantastic job in finding long term positions and supply work.

From the start to now the finish, ASQ education has provided an excellent service and my consultants first Simon McLoughlin then Alfred Bache have been incredibly supportive and hard-working. ASQ is a brilliant agency especially if you're a graduate and need to gain insight and experience in schools. I joined the agency in mid-May and was placed in two high achieving secondary schools. Jessica Maldini who was my consultant matched me perfectly to my assignments. She is very kind and professional. Within one month, Jessica found me a permanent position! I have given a four star rating as the weekly salary goes through the umbrella company, MainPay. Where a significant cut will be made to ASQ's advertised salary. Main Pay's policy: An administration cost is deducted at 4% capped at £14. The Employment Costs are comprising Apprenticeship Levy 0.5% & Employers NI 13.8% over £166 per week. As these deductions are worked out on a percentage bases they will differ if you are earning different amounts each week. I hope ASQ will consider other routes of payment. As all their commitment and hard work is undone by the umbrella company.

Jessica Maldini what a professional and amazing women, always on hand to help when ever needed and just a phone call or an email away, she delivers what she promises. The following morning I was contacted by Simon McLoughlin and invited to meet him at the ASQ offices in Hammersmith. That same day, Simon arranged an interview for me at a wonderful secondary school. I started working there the very next day, have been there ever since and I have just accepted a permanent contract there.
