I have been working with Craig at Big Fish for the last few months, as I've been scaling my team. He stands out from a crowded R2R space by understanding exactly what we want, and sending profiles that hit mark all the time which I often find other R2R's don't! Candidates are always fully prepared when they come to meet us, and have a really good understanding of who we are as a business, which is testament to Craig. Craig happens to be a decent bloke too, questionable dress sense and a Spurs fan but we'll let him off for that.

Instead of just sending me to a number of random companies, he was very specific in the companies he targeted with my CV. I am a teacher from Melbourne, Australia. I joined with Big Fish Recruitment late October. They offered me a position to teach at a school in Wembley. They advised me that the job will ongoing till July 2021. They then told me that they will let me know how things go and if it is continuing till July 2021. Luke was my agent and the service at the beginning was great. The last week of the schooling term arrives, and assuming that I am still in contract with the school. I asked my agent Luke if I was working there next year. He then only informs me two days before the end of school term that the contract will be completed. And that I won't be teaching there next year (2021). I found this to be very annoying and frustrating. I rejected several offers thinking that I would still be teaching at the school. Luke should have told me much earlier. I found this to be very frustrating and annoying. The service was horrible at the end as he should have advised me much earlier. Currently, I am receiving no form of furlough from PAYSTREAM as they do not offer any COVID support. I understand that there are several people not getting any form of furlough payments, but just in the future, I should do more research. Furthermore, on reflection, maybe I should have asked Luke much earlier and find out if I was still working at the school. Thereby, I could have accepted other positions from other schools. However, Luke and his team should have informed me much earlier (instead of two days before the end of term) if my position was going to be complete by the end of December. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the service. Currently, I am unemployed and haven't heard from Luke since the 13th of January. Subsequently, a day later, I received a call from my agent and we had a lengthy discussion regarding the matter. It went really well, as we addressed all issues of the matter, and my agent Luke was quick to fix the issue. We both understood there was lack of communication from the school to the agency. I understand that these things could happen especially in a temporary position and also during these unpredictable times. He further provided me with support, by providing me with links as to where to ascertain assistance in this current situation. Thank you Luke for addressing the issues and for contacting me .
