My internship was definitely hands on! I got a chance to explore London and interact with different professionals, artists, and other talented individual who reside in London. The network here is AMAZING! I l also earned more about the company I worked for as well as where I see myself in the future for my career in Marketing. The experiences here were definitely life changing, and it was so great meeting other students and professionals from all over the globe! I am so glad I had the opportunity to participate in the program!

I was lucky enough to take an Internship through City Internships over the summer of 2016. For anyone who is looking for that vital work experience, I would highly recommend CI. The course gave me a brilliant insight into the workings of a business and has helped me gain greater career direction. The CI team were welcoming and engaging and made my time spent in London very enjoyable. I would strongly encourage anyone taking a CI program to fully immerse themselves in the social aspect and events as, for me, they were a highlight and were always great fun and well organised. My internship was amazing! I never thought I would have the opportunity to intern abroad. CI made that possible! My experience with CityInternships is one that I will never forgot. Good program, so long as you understand what you are signing up for. It's an introduction into a one of the fields you are interested in (many of them are in finance, although they cover other areas like marketing, sales, etc.), wherein you are paired with a company/firm and given a sample of real world experience. If you are expecting it to lead to a job offer, it may but there is no guarantee; CI does not have control over that and the employers do. But it will grant you the opportunity to build a network, and meet a few people and make a few connections in the field you're interested in. *Note that this review is strictly limited to the experience from the student/intern perspective. I've not engaged CI as an employer or company/firm seeking interns.

I would highly recommend CI to anyone thinking about doing an internship. As well as helping to match you with a suitable internship in your desired field, the CI team also run seminars twice a week and organise networking events, both which really help you to get the most out of your internship experience and prepare you for life after university. The CI team were super friendly and their enthusiasm and support every step of the way honestly made my experience even more enjoyable.
