Love working with Coople UK, I have been fortunate to be one of their agency staffing options and have been steadily employed with them for a number of years. They were great during the lockdown period and offered a number of Flow hospitality courses to to keep me engaged during that period. I have been fortunate to be placed in a number of high profile roles and venues and look forward to many more opportunities in the coming months. Payments are always on time and accurate and we are always updated with daily opportunities to work extra hours if required. A great place to work and a great recruitment agency…

The idea behind the company is good. The fact they pay every two weeks and there seems to be quite a lot of jobs available with good hourly pay is also positive. However many friends I have recommended this app to including myself have never been booked for a single shift despite applying to countless shifts. The app is a little misleading in how they ask you to apply to individual jobs, they make it out to seem as if the employer has requested you to apply when in reality it’s just advertising the job to everyone. It could potentially be that the jobs are very competitive as there are many users. The only time I was ever booked for a shift I was forced to cancel because there was a very last minute dress code change and I wasn’t informed so I didn’t have the appropriate clothing (waist coat/ tie). After cancelling I never got a shift again so I can only assume that I may have been blacklisted because of this. This is just my experience, others may have had better.

So, I've read like ten 1 star Coople reviews. Yes, I had a couple of small issues with them and their customer service might not be the fastest, that's true. But before blaming Coople for all that stuff you've put in reviews think it through. They are just an intermediary between you and the company offering you a job. It's not Coople cancelling your shift, it's the hotel, venue, restaurant, etc. It's not Coople overbooking, it's our colleagues not showing up. Working for an agency will always come with certain advantages but also disadvantages. Being cancelled, not getting a shift you applied for, not having a HR personnel to discuss stuff with can be an issue. But there's freedom to choose when we work, where we work and where and when we don't have to work. Be sure you know your priorities, be sure an agency is the right option for you.

Never any issues.. Uploaded my documents and all the paperwork was approved. Initially took me 3 or 4 applications to get the first job. I changed my strategy: I woke up 3 days in a row and got ready to work each day. On day 3 I finally got an emergency shift approved. After that I got called back multiple times to the same job. Once you have a couple of ratings things get easier.

Went in to register last week, I believe it was a gentleman named David who interviewed me. He was welcoming and friendly and was able to answer all my queries. I have not landed a job as of yet, but after a phonecall today with Abdul, I feel more confident in landing more roles as he gave some good advice. Again, warm and welcoming and friendly which is refreshing, to be honest. ***edit - now have a good job not via Coople, but by a recommendation but David was friendly when I spoke to him. Not sure if I would use this service again though as I did not land a job, and I have the experience (and qualifications).

A great employment platform, accessible from your phone but also from any library PC. Payments are higher then ordinary agencies and on time, with the correct tax code and NIC. 49 job profiles to choose from, from any UK location. Notifications, messages and phone-calls to support you. A must have second job and a great employment opportunity not to be missed. Coople delivers an excellent customer service in a professional and timely and appropriate manner.

Coople calls itself a market place connecting flexible workers with employers and that is exactly what it does. I guess everybody's experience depends on what they are looking for, as well as how committed to work, prepared and professional they are. I enrolled three months ago and have had a really positive experience so far - including as much work as I could take and great service from the whole office team. Being able to see full information on the app (including job description, exact location and timings, rate of pay, total amount to be earn, etc.) allows you to make an informed decision on whether you can / want to do the job on offer and apply with a simple click. This is far better than traditional agencies which often provide quite limited information and may blacklist you if you don't accept the jobs they call you for. Coople rates of pay vary between jobs (so you can apply for those you feel offer a fair pay only), payment is always reliable, your payslip gets emailed at least 24h in advance and there is pay holiday on top of wages. I believe life is all about experiences and Coople has allowed me to work in several different places, from a Michelin star restaurant to a gin festival, meet new people and experience new things. Furthermore, I have been given free training (both face to face and online) which is always welcome as it increases skills and confidence, and therefore chances of getting hired in the future. I've even earned the two bonuses Coople made available for all its workers in the lead up to Christmas (£100 cash and a holiday!), which to me shows two things: - Coople cares about its workers as much as many "traditional" employers (and probably much more than other agencies); and - if you have the skills and experience the employers on the platform are looking for and are flexible and committed to work, you will do really well with Coople. If you can do with some flexible work and want to be in control of what you do and when, I encourage you to give Coople a go.

Plenty of shifts,only just started and worked over 10 shifts in two weeks.A great team to work with.I agree with previous reviews that basic training in the kind of jobs they offer would be a bonus.Thankfully I learned on the job and by observation.Note that you have to wait two weeks before first pay, that's only downside. I enjoy the app, it's interactive and easy to use. You can plan week(s) ahead.You need good time time mamamanage skills to cope with the app.Those complaining about the lack of shifts, you need to download the app and engage.Be proactive it's self management here!

Easy as. Got the app, got a job, fits in with all my other work. I do the odd shift with them - mostly events but occasionally bar work, sometimes I find I have to learn quickly on the job because there isn't really any training, but I pick it up quickly enough and can't have any complaints - especially since I get paid on time.

Coople is the best comparing to other agencies in terms of variety of jobs and coordinating between the employers and the employees . if you`re looking for a stable job,Instead of going to boring interviews and long wait to get back to you with result ,book your shift through the platform ,show your interest and good performance then , either they will give you on going shifts or hire you as permanent staff .
