I applied for a job last Tuesday and Megan from Give A Grad A Go reached out to me within 24 hours to discuss the next steps. After a quick phone call she sent more information about the company and asked me to send over some brief answers to a few questions about myself and why I wanted to work in the industry etc. The next day she let me know that the company was interested in interviewing me a few days after that, and sent through a very useful guide in terms of what to prepare for the interview. Following the interview I submitted a short written task to the company, and they decided to hire me. How did I get so lucky? Where do I start? Luke Owen Edmund, has been the BEST form of support throughout my pursuit of finding a new job. I secured my new role within less than 3 weeks of applying for it and that was only possible because of the consistent support from Luke since the start. From the get go, the service from GAGAGO is really impeccable. The website is clear and easy to use, and you'll be in regular contact with a handler who'll ring you up throughout your job search - that might sound annoying, but it's super helpful! I had Megan and she wasn't only sound as as a pound - she gave out sterling advice that helped land me my first job. Having someone give you those small, basic tips and motivation can be all you need to push forward, and the briefs and pitfalls they advise you on are simply invaluable when you're often unfamiliar with offices/work culture. One thing I would recommend is to not put all your eggs in one basket. Because GAGAGO is working with a smaller pool of jobs (ones for graduates) you can cast your net wider with other sites. But the biggest advantage of GAGAGO is that it's tailored for students - so you're going to be matching with office's that often have a younger, friendlier feel, and you're not going to be pitted against someone with 5+ years of experience. The handlers do a wonderful job of promoting your case and actively searching for jobs that you might be interested in - then giving you all you need to nail that application. It can be frustrating coming out of college and not knowing what to do. GAGAGO helped give me direction after a shambolic lockdown, offering me real, personal advice and guidance. Try it!

I spoke with a consultant called Cameron first, who responded quickly to an application I had made.
