I have been with Syft since they were just getting set up in London and they've been a great help especially during this time of difficulty given the pandemic circumstances. The company has expanded and as such their resources in dealing with customer services have also undergone significant change. Once you know how best to reach them they are extremely helpful, always going to extra mile until a satisfactory resolution has been reached (shoutout to Hannah and George who run their Socials) .

Signing process was fine. The staff working seems very nice and I was excited to be a part of this community. Customer service cannot be called so email has to be sent in case of any issues. Experience so far: It took 4 weeks to get the first shift, once I gotten the first shift and it was a last minute one with higher rate it was a happy moment. Once on the job, all went fine and everyone was happy, clocked in and clocked out with the app with my location turned on. Three days later, received an email that I did not show up for my shift and will not get paid yet. It took 2 weeks to resolve that over emails and the payment is still pending.

Best place to work for an International Student. Syft pays higher than all other agencies. It's flexible, you get to choose the days/ shifts you want to work. Management team one of the best. Absolutely loved working for syft!

Good agency. Good jobs to claim. However you need to be quick to claim a job otherwise it's gone. The first second you hear the notification, you usually have 20 secs before the job is gone, so make sure to be quick. Most shifts however like your four hour shifts aren't worth considering the travel and the tax, you make little profit. This means you're mostly attached to your phone waiting for that golden shift.

Its a good company to work for if you are looking for temporary or occasional work. Some clients will try and recruit you if they see you are a hard worker, so don't be scared to say 'no'. The pay is the national minimum 8.40 plus holiday pay (so youll see the total of 9.50 smth on your app). if you are smart enough and willing to risk, wait till the very last minute, the hourly rate will go up, if Syft cannot find anyone to fill up the role. This is especially true for busy periods. Last tip, sign up with a few agencies at the same time, to ensure youve for work when you need it the most. A great way to earn extra money. The app is a good platform although has its glitches at times in terms of clocking in and out and disappearing or changing shifts. One of the people in office answering their phones could be a little less matter-of-fact / borderline rude, but otherwise everyone has been really helpful. On the whole they're a great company to work for and incentivise hard work through a whole host of company benefits, nights out, competitions, and facilities such as next day payment in busy times like the run up to Christmas. Have not yet had an issue that hasn't been resolved, Syft has helped a lot in these last couple of years when I've needed extra work! If you want an extra £20 on your first shift then use my referral code: OLLIH3 Update- Syft changed their payroll system in December 2018 to encourage people to work extra shifts in return for quicker, next day payment. In theory, this was a great idea. In execution, not so much. I use this app as a top up to my normal job , so not very often. I was contacted in June about a payroll error in DECEMBER saying they were going to dock my pay due to overpaying me back in December ( which I hadn't noticed at the time ) considering the docking of pay amounted to half of my next pay cheque, needless to say I was less than impressed . Theyve since migrated their payroll to paycircle, which is Buggy. 4 hours after payslip is released, I can't see how much I've earned. I've contacted payroll on chat, and they said I've only earnt £13 for a 10.5 hour festival shift worked at steel yard. This is despite coming to an agreement with syft about the repayment of their overpayment in December, so as not to affect my immediate earnings . To top things off Syft has changed their customer service stance, meaning emails only. At the moment, I can only say that, despite all the positive behind the scenes movements, working for Syft has gotten worse rather than better for me. Conceentrate on your employees over growth, otherwise they will defect to other agencies such as coople, which I won't hesitate to do unless you sort out my pay within 24 hours

Best pay in hospitality. I was really happy until I had a pay problem for a particular shift that they seem to completely ignore (even if I have sent them 5 emails about it in a month). However they are very keen to take their money back on your current salary after an over-payment that happened more than two months ago.

Really love the agency. Pay above the minimum wage and up to £9 an hour. Many agencies only pay £7.20 an hour. Payment is always on time and every Thursday and you get holiday pay. Members of staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of interesting shifts at different events and places and you gain valuable experience. Also, I love the star rating on the platform, because it motivates you to work hard, so employers give you high ratings and add you to their network. I have worked with Syft for the past year and I find this is one of the best agencies to work for. They have grown from strength to strength in the past 12 months. Shifts started slow at the start but I guess doesn't this happen with every agency? I had the opportunity to meet so many great people, make some awesome friends and go to various places with all kinds of clientele and improve my skills in many ways. I also love the flexibility of this kind of work and that I do not have to commit to a certain amount of hours. The rating system keeps us motivated and in check, ensuring we provide the best possible service. The staff are really nice and generally understanding. I would recommend it as a supplementary source of income alongside another income (e.g. If you are self-employed and you need a boost in your finances) - and you get paid weekly. I would recommend it to a few friends already.

The people behind the agency are one of the nicest person I've ever met. The app is just amazing. Syft allows you to choose how much you want to be paid, where and when to work. I have met a lot of amazing people even until now. I have been with them since the beginning and everything worked out pretty well with me when it comes to flexibility. It is the only agency that i know that pays well (up to £20) and pays weekely in hospitality industry. I am just sharing my experience, to be honest the people that have been off the platform and giving negative comments below it's because they have received some bad ratings/comments from clients. So if you are newbie, when you do your first shift. Just make sure you do your best to be part of the team and make sure you understand everything, if not you can always ask the manager to make sure you are in the same page as them on the shift. Im with part of 3 other mobile app staffing platforms and syft is by far the best. A lot of shifts are available, and during the on boarding session they really explain to you in detail what they are about. You can make your work fit around your schedule and work only as much as you want to, a lot more flexibility. The pay rate is also really good.

Syft is one of the places I would never advice anyone to go to work.Their staff are rude and have a dismissive attitude. One of them picked up my jacket to hand over to me as if it was a dirt. She did not sit on the chair i left the coat. But she's just being sarcastic. What goes round will come round to her. She'll be a laughing stock to the public. First impression last longer. They were asking people to show a friendly attitude when they're sent to work, but they themselves a're full of arrogance and pride. One that I got his name as david ask me to take my documents and leave. Who spoke like that to a dog? He's pompous and will meet his match one day. No one deserved to be treated by any work agency. Without jobseekers, your company is ruined. I have to work for your clients to get money not that you laying money on the table for free for people. £9 or more if any by the time tax is paid. Why are they growing wings for in a way? Am not surprised if they fumbled with people's wages as they're shambles. They're nasty piece of work. I would have been in bed all day than to go and see their sad faces. Etc
