I was contracted with Kite Consulting Group in my last role that lasted over two years and eight months. As many other reviewers who have been placed with Kite have found, the team are unusual in that they go to great lengths to ensure that they fully appreciate the skills and style of candidates as well as the needs and culture of potential employers. This investment leads to more interview opportunities and a higher level of successful placements than the usual haphazard approach taken by most agencies. It is true that a little more effort on behalf of the candidate might be needed up front but Kite’s approach is proven to be successful for many candidates and it regularly leads to fruitful long term assignments. I find Kite’s performance to be well above any agency that I have had dealings with in the past. It is no coincidence that Kite have achieved a series of prestigious awards in the recruitment industry and I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Over the last year I was approached by Kite Group quite a few times regarding very decent positions in Financial Sector. I really appreciate how professional and supportive they were during the application and interviewing period. At the time I had recently moved to the UK and I lacked confidence simply because I studied abroad and I was going against other candidates from the best universities across the UK. It was a really great feeling how they managed to boost my confidence by outlining my strengths of previously working in Financial Sector. Kite Consultancy have placed me in 2 roles to date. Both have been excellent fits for me and I am rarely approached by the team about jobs that would not interest me. The company has such strong integrity in the way that they do business in recruitment that they really stand out. The personal touch still exists and is part of their corporate DNA. Kite would rather put forward one carefully selected candidate than to submit CVs blindly to a hiring manager. I rarely have cause to recommend any company in the recruitment business as I have had many bad experiences in the past and had considered the industry a "necessary evil". Kite have changed my opinion radically and have demonstrated to me what other companies could deliver if they changed their ethos and did what's best for their customers and clients instead of aggressively pursuing a sales based approach at all costs regardless of results or satisfaction. If you have not registered with Kite then I would suggest that you change that now and I think that you will not be disappointed.

In all that time I have found that the additional diligence they apply to quantifying roles and qualifying candidates certainly distinguishes them from nearly all other recruitment consultants. I've worked with Kite (as a recruiter) for over 8 years and have to say that they are one of the most credible agencies I've used. Professional (and with a human touch) they've managed to put rabbits outs of hats (great candidates, or in Kite language 'A-Players') and have a determination to fill a (hard) role that I've not seen before. What I really like is their evolution and trialing new technology (video interviews etc) that sets them out from the crowd. Always happy to introduce them to new hiring managers and once that's done (and they have a meaningful dialogue) it makes the hiring process even faster. These guys are ones to watch.... (in a good way!)

Ok, but can't help but feel as a job seeker there are more proactive consultancies out there. For example, I had to provide references within 24 hours for a role I wanted to apply for. I spent time making sure i was fully reference checked to submit my application in time. Once that was obtained i was urged to then drop my salary expectation quite significantly, in order to appear more attractive to the client. I refused and withdrew my application. As a job seeker i didn't appreciate being told i should drop my rate in order to get shortlisted.

Whilst working on a large project with a well known pharma company I was contacted by Jack from Kite Consultancy Group. It was the most relaxed, interesting and insightful chat that I have had with any Recruitment Agency. Within 2 weeks I had left the pharma industry and headed to the world of real estate.
