I recently worked with Polo & Tweed to hire a new house manager, an overseas search. I have been deeply impressed by the service that Lucy and her team have provided. Most importantly, Lucy took a lot of time to understand the specificities of our job posting and the personality we were looking for. She provided honest feedback regarding the elements of our search that could make it challenging to find the optimal candidate. For example, she proactively discussed with us if we could drop the German language requirement to expand the pool of strong candidates, and also consider male house managers. She had strong judgment on candidates who could be a fit, insisted on trial work for our shortlisted candidates (which we were reluctant to do, but it proved to be an invaluable step), and managed the entire contracting process seamlessly. Response times of Lucy and her team were always minimal, and every request was taken care of reliably. Polo & Tweed is by far the best of many agencies I have worked with in the past decade, really operating at a different quality and service level, and I would recommend them unreservedly.

After much debate we decided to hold the event at home and a work colleague recommended that Polo and Tweed could provide a very reliable, professional extra pair of hands to ensure we could also get to enjoy the party! We thought we might need two butlers but on assessing our guest numbers and needs, Lucy recommended that one should do the trick and we hired Laurence.
