Premise: This is just my personal experience and does not reflect the general assessment of the company. I have been called on their fancy Shard Offices for a preliminary interview. It went fine. They looked professional and I was even proposed to apply for a role. Unfortunately they've never gotten back to me. They've never replied to any of my following emails and never got an opportunity for an interview in 6 months time. You can say maybe I wasn't worthy but I did get loads of interviews after that from other agencies and also 2 good job offers. The same scenario happened about 2 years ago. I can't speculate over the reason. I understand if they didn't have a job offer fit for my profile but I would expect at least for them to reply to my emails once in a while and keep in the loop somehow. I almost felt like I was filling a quota or something.

P.S. - I would also like to stress here that while RH care about their clients and coach and provide relevant advice, it is ultimately up to the client to do well in the interviews set up. Furthermore, only interviews for the candidates who meet criteria will be set up as employers too deserve to have the right candidates come for an interview (as it is a time consuming process) and it would not be fair to them to be sent candidates who don't match their requirements.

I have understood some peoples reviews and agreed with both negatives and positives and found myself bewildered by others. RH will not get you a job. However, they will give you the opportunity you DESERVE based on the efforts you put in. Understand when they refer you to a job they literally put their personal reputation on the line, so when you an interview and you do not prepare and do not give your best the likely hood of you getting another interview with any recruitment agency is extremely low. The process does require a face to face sit down, which can be felt as a waste of time and tedious, although after completing the process and myself also feeling I wasted half the day travelling up to London and back, I came to realise it is the best method to gage you in order to secure the best position for your new career. A process that is rather hard to do on the phone. Moving swiftly on the staff members are welcoming, professional and courteous. My first recruiter Eliza Chereau, managed to get me an interview almost straight away, which ticked most of my boxes, I would like to note that RH will not just get you a role they go out of their way to MATCH you with an employer not just getting people jobs. So, I secured an interview thanks to Eliza, she also gave up the time to prepare and coached me during preparation, she was a phone call/email away at all time, overall outstanding customer service. However, I was not successful but this followed feedback and more support so thumbs up to her. Had a bit of a dry spell, didn't hear much from RH but later on, another recruiter picked up my account. David Shogelola, honestly OUTSTANDING, going above and beyond for me. I wasn't too sure on what career path I wanted and that only make his job harder but he overran our 30-minute meeting by an hour in which he helped me try to figure out the career path that would best suit me. He suggested a role for me, I accepted. The employer didn't want to interview me based on my CV originally, at no fault but my own, however, a week later he informs me that he managed to fight my corner and he got me an interview, another opportunity. Again, just like Eliza, he prepared me for the interview gave some amazing tips which without I would not have been successful. So, when reading through some review left by others I feel there are some serious hyperbolic references used by people who probably left themselves down in the interview stage and didn’t seize the opportunity that was presented. Honestly speaking they are not perfect, clutters my inbox sometimes and I found it daunting not hearing from them for a while but they don't forget. They will call when an opportunity arises, trust them they know what they are doing.

We had a very good start, and I was very pleased that Jess as she was able to get me a role with Cisco and was very nice on the phone and professional. Though things a different turn, when I was called and informed that the already agreed terms of my contract were to be changed from a day rate to hourly which certainly, I did not accept. Situation took another turn when I was informed that my payment will be delayed for a week and yet another week but unfortunately it was a t a time that I had desperate issues to deal with as both my 19 year old son and my wife were both hospitalized at the same time with no money to pay for their hospital bill. I had to borrow from friend to pay the bills. This led to my having a go at Jess which ordinarily I wouldn’t have as I know she did try her best for me, but I was desperate and had no alternative. This was completely out of character for me, and I sincerely apologize to Jess and the whole team. I hope she can find a place in her heart to forgive me and understand that I did not intend to blame her or raise my voice on her. Jess, I am very sorry. I have no doubt in my mind that my complaint was taken seriously and acted upon of which I must express my sincere appreciation to Dani Hope for making sure that my contract was processed on time, set me up on the system also in good time and Millie Payne for going an extra mile to make sure that my time-sheet got approved and signed in good time to meet payroll run deadline.
