I have just completed their two weeks' training course (via Zoom) on self-development and customer care and the trainer (John) was superb and engaging. S.Hello my Name Is Shane Pappin
I was transferred to Stepahead from my local Job Center – Streatham. I first met Mariam from Stepahead at the Job Center where she was telling us about the service and what it offers.
It sounded truly amazing to me and for what I wanted, it was perfect. Which was to find work in Warehouse, Retail, and Refuse Collection. I then went to see my Advisor there called: Jackie Douglas who was so understanding of my Disability and so understanding of what I wanted to do as we sat down and spoke about this more in-depth.
I told Jackie about my Work History and why I am currently not in work, and I also told her what I wanted to get into as a job and she was very professional mannered and very understanding with a polite and respectable manner, which was so lovely to see.
I filled out a few forms which took no time, any questions I was not sure about, Jackie provided assistance to me in order to not only help me out but to also help me understanding what it all means to. Which I cant thank her enough for. Jackie then looked straight away for work for me within working distance.
She then Applied for a few jobs for me, in which 1 of them got back to me. Which was for a Warehouse position job based in Victoria Train Station. The job was fine ETC. however the hours were not suitable for my needs, so I had to Decline that 1 job.
Which was not a problem. Jackie then calls me shortly after offering me another Full Time job which was Warehouse Assistant / Full Time at Natoora in Bermondsey.
I went for Interview Yesterday ( 07 / 11 / 2018 ). All went well, so I start my Paid 12 week trial of the job tomorrow ( 09 / 11 / 2018 ) at 07.00AM. After the 12 week Trial, the job could turn Into Full Time Permanent Position which is absolutely amazing. Jackie Douglas my Advisor was so effective. She got me 2 jobs in under 2 weeks. One accepted one not. She truly is amazing and I cant thank you enough.
I cannot recommend Stepahead enough, they truly are a amazing Company which have a very professional understanding of what there clients want and they go the extra mile to secure you into employment regardless of what is different about yourself. Whether I wanted Full Time or Part Time.

I started the first day being quite negative but by our first break which was around an hour and a half after we got there, my whole attitude had changed . Our tutor Jackie Douglas is amazing at what she does she inspired me to be more confident in my abilities ( she actually said I have great potential in a managerial role ) I appreciate that as being unemployed especially after redundancy made me feel isolated and literally redundant which is not a good feeling.

K. R.I have previously completed an apprenticeship at work leading NHS trust specialising in the newest technology and London top cancer centre. I was able to get involved with projects to do with the Cancer Centre. Although a few of my assessor had to leave through no fault of their own (family emergencies) Stepahead were able to provide me with a new assessor who was always contactable and if they weren’t they would give a name who could help.
