Big mention to Louise Kirby and Charlotte Haldane in Maidstone office, who secured me a temporary summer role while studying at University. Nothing was ever too much for them to answer and was always on hand if I ever had any issues or questions. Highly recommend others to use Huntress, as in the past, I never had any luck with agencies. Far and away the best agency I've worked for as a temp. Timesheets were straightforward, all their processes for holiday, sickness, overtime etc were very simple and efficient. And all of the staff I've had contact with throughout my assignment were always friendly and helpful, rectifying any issues ASAP - Charlotte especially. However Huntress have completely surpassed my expectations on all occasions over the last few years having not only aided me in my career but also opening up opportunities that wouldn’t have been available to me otherwise. I want to share my experience of Huntress, because they were the company that helped me find my first job, after a couple of months of looking. Basically I had moved closer to London in the idea of finding a Graduate role there, but after 12 weeks of applying for jobs, a few interviews, phone calls, Skype recordings, CV changes etc. nothing came from it. I had put my CV out on a couple of recruitment sites, so it was easily accessible for companies such as Huntress to find and contact me. That was exactly what happened. One day I got a call from a lady called Louise, she was putting forward a role that I would not have even battered an eye-lid at, but it stuck in my head, there was more pro's to con's. I went into their Maidstone office and registered with Huntress three days after this phone call with Louise, it was lovely to meet her in person and know who I was dealing with. She had been working with the company who has now hired me, for a long while, so I felt confident for Louise to be dealing with my CV and recommending me. An interview was booked in ASAP, which was roughly 12 days after registering with Huntress. Louise emailed me beforehand to offer me some advice and links to help the research and knowledge I wanted to bring to the interview. She then rang me 2 days afterwards to check-in with me, to see how I felt the interview went and we spoke about when they would get back to Huntress with the result. Initially there was a bit of a wait, a week or so before a response. However, three days after my interview Huntress called me to tell me I had been offered the role! I was so happy and relieved, job searching was really taking a toll on me. The belated phone-call was not Louise, as she was off on that day, but she rung me when she was next in to pass on her congratulations and to tell me some lovely feedback my company gave her about my interview. Overall, this was the quickest response, call-back and positive experience I have had. Throughout my job search, no other recruitment company called me back after I had failed to secure the job they brought forward to me. It felt they had forgotten me, but Huntress carried through what they promised me. Louise even said that if this role did not work out, she would try and find me some temporary roles in the meantime, as I mentioned I was a little tight for cash at that time. Thank you Louise and Huntress for helping me find my first job, I am so relieved and happy. You have found me a role I am excited to start, it was like you knew what I needed! I highly recommend registering with Huntress if you are looking for a job, they are more local than the companies trying to get you to travel to London, and they actually care about you as a person.
