I'd been thinking about taking the next step in my career for over a year and a half, but due to Covid decided to stay put for job security. As restrictions lifted I began looking at what that next step would look like. After months of scrolling through endless job listings second guessing whether I should apply, I received a message on LinkedIn for Anneka Page about an opportunity to work with an innovative start up company. Like a lot of people when applying for a new role, nerves and doubt started kicking in, it had been a while since going through an interview process and a lot had changed. Throughout the whole process Anneka was informative, personable, dedicated and consistent whilst offering support, advice and reassurance helping calm the nerves and remove the doubt. It was apparent that Anneka genuinely wanted me to succeed which made me feel valued and driven to succeed as a candidate. Almost 2 months later, I'm loving my new role, I'm the happiest I've been in a while and the effect it's had on my personal and professional life is immense.
