I resigned from a night job after 24 years on the 17th Feb 2022 and started working for Abstract Agency the following Monday in Melmerby. I had an induction with Gosia from Abstract who was professional , knowledgable and informative and the hourly rate was above minimum wage. You are supposed to work for the agency for a minimum of 12 weeks before there maybe a possibility of gaining a full time employment contact within the company. That said the company has just taken on several full time staff including myself and I have only been there for a period if 6 weeks !! Abstract have released me and others from their books early so as we don’t miss out on gaining a full time secure position for our future. Wow they have really been great 👍🏼

The level of communication is spot on! Staff are friendly and the thing that surprised me the most is that these people work 24/7! Always checking on you to make sure everything is okay. I am surprised how people criticise the opportunity they were given to work when 5+ years ago there was literally no work at all! People used to work 1-2 days a week barely handling their bills and now is just shocking that people don't even want to work! Great if you need a job placement quick. It was easy just had to pop into their office - pay and hours are good. Definitely worth it if you need a couple of weeks of instant start work for bills etc. down rated as once work finishes (e.g due to low volume) you essentially get ghosted by the recruitment agency. I finished my last job last Thursday however despite them saying they've found another job for me to do instead i have not heard back from them!
