Teaching Personnel have offered me plenty of possible roles in the short time I've been with them. Mark has provided me with my current role as a Learning Support Assistant which has given me invaluable experience in preparation for me starting my PGCE in September which the agency has been very accommodating with. All queries and questions I have, have also been answered in an efficient manner and the TP app is very useful and easy to navigate.

Since registering with Teaching Personnel Newcastle branch I have been impressed with the support and efforts of the consultants to find me regular work. Registering was easy and clearance was completed within the week. Communication is excellent and the online work diary is convenient to ensure the agency know when you are available. The website is really useful for checking pay slips and job vacancies. I also like receiving regular updates from the agency by text or email. I have worked mostly with Stuart and Matthew who are really friendly, helpful and always cheerful. They are both knowledgeable about local schools and are always interested to hear how you have got on at a school. Consultants are happy to chat and find out about you as a teacher so that they can match you up with the right kind of school. I appreciate the fact that the rate is always made clear before you accept a job with immediate email confirmation. I would highly recommend working with this agency.

I registered with TP and they have been fantastic from start to finish. Imogen has been amazing. She always kept me up to date and found me work within 4 days. Full time work as a teaching assistant. They always check in with you every 3 days to make sure your happy in your job. It's a nice change to find an agency that cares about there staff even after they have found you a placement. A great big thank you to Imogen and Danielle. North east office.

TP have been super helpful over the last 7 months. Been able to place me into lots of different schools which has allowed me to get valuable experience of secondary education. Especially they’ve tried hard to place me near ro home. Since January Ive been placed into long term roles which have been really great. As well as this, the agents have been in frequent contact with me supporting any queries I have had while being on placement. Cannot fault all the agents who have been working with me! Highly recommend anyone who’s in the teaching profession looking for day to day work or the step to full time teaching.

Teaching Personnel have been very proactive, they have circulated my CV to a number of schools and have been in regular contact. When I first registered at the start of this month, they suggested a course that I may like to go on for Professional Development. I am contacted regularly to update my availability and have done some supply teaching which they organised. Their website is easy to navigate with everything you need (calendar of availability, access to payslips etc) in one place and they have been in regular contact via phone and email this week as the situation in schools is constantly changing. Thank you for your support, Tyne and Wear Secondary team.

I have been working with Teaching Personnel since January and I am absolutely delighted with the service and care I received from Stuart Hawkins (especially) and Matthew Molloy as well. Both have been extremely good at keeping posted no matter what the issue or matter was. On top of being extremely professional and good at their job, they are also extremely friendly and easy to talk and I have always had the feeling that they were on my side. Thank you very much!

I have recently joined TP and so far it's been a professional and resourceful experience. Imogen has been greatly patient, hardworking and professionally prepared to answer all my questions and doubts, taking into consideration my family commitments as well as when interviewing and later when giving essential support on the placement. Hopefully this job experience with TP will lead to more roles offer and permanent position in Newcastle. Lovely, easygoing team, who are truly there to support you!!

I have been registered with TP for the last 8 terms and have always been able to work when I have wanted to. Initially I was daily supply but for the past 2 years I have had long term contracts. Mark, and Josh from the Teesside branch have been fantastic in offering positions which match my skills and I always feel that I am valued as a member of the team 😊

This is the BEST teaching agency ever!
First of all during the pandemic they never brushed off the furlough questions. They were so patient and understanding even when I didn’t know if I was entitled they didn’t make me feel as if I was annoying them. They were so polite and always replied back when they could. Then when finally I was accepted they apologised for the delay.
Stuart is main agent I’ve spoken to, he will support you and help you find something that you need. I work for more than one agency and I find when they ring me they are very rude on the phone and they tend to think I will just accept the job. I don’t like the pressure they put on me, especially when I have a stammer it doesn’t help my speech when I’m under that pressure it actually makes it worse. But Stuart is so chilled he doesn’t make me feel like he’s in a rush or wants an answer even if he is, he’s so calm and just asks hey sana I’ve got some work at this school what do you think? Other agencies are like ‘hi sana I’ve got work at this school can you go? If I ask how much it is they tut and huff and tell me the price then ask again can you do it? The tone they use isn’t nice. Like I don’t know about other peoples experiences and how they feel but this is my experience.
Teaching personnel have NEVER made me feel like that and I’ve spoken to 3/4 other members from their agency. They are all very friendly and ask about me and in general it’s not just work work work like other agencies.
Anyways sorry for the long review
I’m just so happy I enrolled with them!
Best choice I ever made!!!
Big up Stuart 😂
I urge everyone to go and enrol with them if you haven’t.

The staff at Teaching Personnel are personable and very helpful, having always been quick to provide assistance and timely contact whenever needed. Both Stuart and Matthew have been instrumental in answering any questions and concerns I may raise, and promptly arranging for work placements that align with my interests.

After initially registering with Teaching Personnel in Newcastle in Summer 2019, I heard absolutely nothing from them in the first half of the Autumn term and didn't get any work from them. However, when a new branch manager took over in October time, he called me up and promised that they'd make up for lost time - which they did! I've now been in a long-term post since December and my consultant (Matthew) has been fab :-)

A very professional teaching agency, who have very friendly staff helping me find regular work. Also put on free training courses to improve my skills as a cover supervisor. I very much recommend signing with Teaching Personnel if you're looking to get into education.

I have to say this in response to a couple of the bad reviews my recruitment consultant Rebecca is amazing. Any problems that I have come across she has assisted with trying to help me to resolve them. Rebecca also very understanding towards my circumstances and my family commitments. In my opinion, this is the best move I have made from working within a care agency.

Teaching Personnel is a professional, reliable and caring company . I have always been given time, support and guidance regarding work placements and opportunities. Stuart in particular from the Secondary Recruitment team is excellent . A top agency for teachers .
