Both myself and my partner used Medichecks in the past and I'm now using their services again. The customer service is great (my sample arrived late at the lab because of postal strikes) and they provided fantastic customer service and sent me a new kit. I also like that the blood results are uploaded with comments from the doctor and they ask about the lifestyle, diet, etc. and take everything into consideration when doing the tests. It's much better than any doctor I've ever used. Will be definitely using them again in the future.

Great service! The test results are comprehensive and the detail added after the review helps me to understand what the numbers all mean. I would highly recommend Medichecks , I wasn’t able to get the support from my own GP practice and needed a special blood test. After contacting Medichecks, thankfully Elise was so helpful and supported and guided me to what Medichecks could offer to support my health concerns. I have used Medichecks in the past. The concept is great and the way the results are readable is good. The last time I used them the arranging of a home blood test took quite a while. I just purchased a test on line the well women check and out paid extra for the nurse to come to my home nad do the blood test. It says a nurse will Contact you within 48 hours I rang the number provided to chase it up .. to be told that the nurse would be contacting me. In total I rang that number about four times ( with days in in-between each call ) about the nurse coming to visit , to be told they will be contacting you. Well I never got any form of contact In the end I requested to cancel … All this just wasted my time It was the same last time I ordered a home visit but last time I waited longer This time I thought “ I’m sure it will be quicker “ I think Medichecks is a great concept and I’m not disputing that. The home blood test that you pay extra for is the issue. As no communication to arrange it. If there are not enough nurses in the area. Then not sure why it’s being sold if the need cannot be met

I’ve done 3 different blood tests with Medichecks and paid the little bit extra to have a nurse take the blood. I found a clinic local to me that does the Medichecks blood tests and they are good at taking the blood. This was after I tried Superdrug and they could get any blood from me there. My results came within 48 hours to my online account along with doctors notes, which was really useful and just what I needed. It helped me diagnose things the NHS don’t test for.

I have used medichecks a few times and I've not had any issues with receiving my results, however the prices in general are high, especially for individual tests. For example a single blood test may cost £20 for the lab work, maximum £15 in postage and maybe a further £12 for materials, possibly another £20 in admin/staff cost results in a total of about £70. Then charging the customer £200 is a massive mark-up of pure profit and makes these tests unaffordable for many - especially when the NHS is reluctant to do them. It would be nice if medichecks offered a build your own blood test kit so that only one pack would be needed for multiple blood tests where the same sample could be used - this would keep costs down and this could offer savings to the customer. Charging an extra £30 for a clinic phlebotomy fee - I think this should be included in the price. Furthermore, I note that the packs have an expiry date to which if not used then the customers lose their money. Although I personally have not been affected by this, I believe this may be an unfair contract term (as per Consumer Rights Act 2015) because the only cost to the company is the blood collection pack, delivery and administrative charges, customers should still be refunded in the event that the expiry has passed minus any material and administrative costs, since the terms and conditions state the cost of a replacement pack is £5, then this can be the assumed material charge.

Ok, so at first I was very skeptical about the concept since for all I know they could just throw my sample and make up any result with no way for me to know. However, I decided to take a chance since there isn't a lab nearby where I can take the needed test. And I gotta say, I'm very pleased with the overall experience! Starting from the kit, which is well packaged and imcludes everything you need including the return envelope and label. Then, as I opted to take a venous blood sample in a clinic (because if anything the Theranos debacle taught me is that a tiny blood sample might not produce the most reliable results), my visit went smoothly and the nurse took the sample and packed it in the envelope, which then I only had to post in a priority postbox. The most important part for me was the fact that the lable on the return envelope was addressed directly to the Lab, which I looked up and found to be registered in the UKAS database, which comforted me that it's not a bogus one. Couple days later, I received an email that my results are available, so I checked them on the website and I have to say that I'm really impressed as to how every test biomarker had its acceptable limits clearly displayed along with an explanation of the effects of either ends of the spectrum. Finally, as I opted for having a doctor's commenting on the results, the name and qualifications of the doctor were provided, which is important for verification purposes. Overall, very pleased of how smooth the whole experience was

Hi I have used Medichecks for years and the results are always very clear with good advice given. Recently I ordered a prolactin test but then thought a full hormone panel would be better. They offered to send a discount voucher to take the cost of the prolactin test of the full hormone test!! Quick easy testing with the use of phlebotomists in medical centres or easy to use home testing kits. Doctors advise and interpretation is given when required. Easy to print and very understandable reports for your own GP. However the most impressive customer support even available on weekends with quick responses. There are a growing number of companies offering similar testing, however customer service and on going Drs advice sets Medichecks apart. Only quip would be I would love to have a ACHT test, however Medichecks have a good range of testing available. Thank you Becky.

I have paid for 3 CDT tests My first one was not right .0.6 I did ask for this to be look in to And I was told to give them proof Well I did not have the proof As it was done in a court in Scotland So I just paid for one more 7 days later And it come back.0.4 It was 0.4 When done for the court!!!!. So on the 15.3.2022 I paid£109. Again The ferst to test was at my home in 24 hours... I call today to let them know I was told I needed to pay £5. And it would be here in 2 to 3 days. And they had no idea I had 2 Tests in the lest mount. It was really hard for me today 4 phone calls Because 2 times the call was ended? And I was told there was no manger to speak with. On the 4 call she said At their is a manger!!! Sorry but I just don't no what to believe. Maybe we all should use newmans Not happy I was lied to light 🤔

I don't have a bad word to say about Medichecks in actual fact if it wasn't for Medichecks I would not have been able to diagnose all my current health problems, something which our poor NHS have failed to deliver. I have been having regular blood tests with Medichecks since last March 2021 and I can categorically state they have been brilliant, my blood tests have come back correct and they are more understandable to read more so than the NHS blood tests results, their results details medical terminology which can be difficult to interpretate. I appreciate and understand that things can and do go wrong, and when the email came last year that one of their labs was being closed I was a little shocked, I kept asking whom and what would administer the blood testing results? However Medichecks reassured me that they would find a suitable lab (which they did). The point I'm trying to make is not everything can and will go right, however we need to appreciate in the current climate that we are currently in that things can and do go wrong and to be a little more empathetic. I needed to get blood tests done quickly that aren’t available on the NHS. Most clinics I contacted couldn’t return the results in time - I had 5 working days. Medichecks was amazing! I ordered the kit on Sunday night, it arrived Tuesday. Sent it back the same day and got my results at 7am on Friday. Super easy to do and I appreciated being able to take my blood sample myself, rather than needing to take time out of work to visit a clinic.

It is Neely two weeks since the order of the test. Initially it did not come which so accept is post related but lab received test on the 9th today is 15th and no results. To question why results are not ready we had standard answer that it will take at least 4days or maybe more because lab is busy. No one somehow informs about such things when you buy and pay for test. I am in industry both private and NHS for over 15yrs re and know very well how long it takes to run certain tests and what we ordered is nothing complex or out of ordinary so to me it is simply substandard service

Full Well Woman UltraVit Blood Test - Very happy with the service provided, love the online site that once given all your details and set your profile you can see what is right and what is wrong, or advisable. Report came back within a few days after having a full blood test taken by a registered nurse whom i work with! Sent off the sample by special delivery - my choice! Received email to confirm that Medichecks had got the samples safely and were working on them the following day. Email through to notify me of results... Report from a Doctor with his interpretation of the results and any advisories. Interested to see the information on line too on my profile pages, so i can read what the tests meant etc and how to improve. Overall i am really glad that i paid the £119, the results have been sent to my GP who i am back and forth with no firm answers. Medichecks have put my and my husbands mind at rest and now i can re-evaluate my results and put improvements in place following on from this. They have good prices but I find the service unprofessional. Most staff don't recognise that they are working in the medical sector, they come across as disrespectful. They close at 6PM on weekdays but don't answer their phones at 5:55PM. When you order a test and select the option to have the blood taken at the London laboratory, they sometimes send you to a vitamin clinic to have the blood taken and then posted to a remote laboratory, that's deceitful. To get a doctor to comment on the results takes several extra days. The Medichecks staff don't chase up late results and instead wait for the customers to lose patience and call. I'll still use this company as their prices are good and the laboratories are reputable but it's a minefield placing an order with them, they need someone proactive to fix all the problems and to train staff.

Purchased a full blood test just proactively monitor my health. Posted the blood sample on a Monday they received it Tuesday and results were emailed to me Thursday morning. Very good write up explain the results. Would recommend.
