You always have it in the back of your mind that agencies mess you about and a lot do! But as it goes Ash and Jake at the Nottingham branch are ok. After running my own transport company for over two decades, I finally decided to just drive three days a week etc using an agency, I told the lads what I wanted and they have delivered, the accounts department at Nottingham Is spot on too, answering any questions or queries straight away. I wouldn’t have a problem recommending the team at the Nottingham branch.

Started working through best connection this time last year, and since then the only time I've not been i work is the covid 19 situation that prevented me from doing so. I believe everyone that I have had interaction with has been very helpful and forthcoming with any of my queries and i have ALWAYS been paid on time, and I ALWAYS get holiday pay. My personal agent Eva is great, Always keeps in contact and when I started and was consistently busy getting me work before the job I had was over, so I wasn't out of work. I have been a 7.5 tonne driver with tbc Nottingham for 2 years now and have been pleased with their service. I have had appointments with various local companies/depots, a couple have been for a long period, there has been only a small number of days over the past 2 years where they have not been able to place me. I would have liked to give 5 stars but unfortunately they are not perfect....they are human after all. When errors have occurred they have sought solution quickly and efficiently. Although I’ve only been with The Best Connection (TBC) Nottingham since last September, I have to say that their work practices, reliability and helpfulness have been excellent. I started with the Nottingham branch late in December 2019. I was asked about shift times and patterns and have been treated very well by Matt and Jake in accommodating my working pattern. Unfortunately, as with everyone else in the sector, work has dried up since the introduction of safety measures and lockdown due to Covid19. I've not worked since early April and was looking at digging into my savings to get me through this. I was told by Dave on the 20th that Best Connection was going to furlough me via the Government scheme and that I would get a percentage of my pay as opposed to Universal Credit. I'm unsure how this experience goes with the rest of the temporary industry, however a good friend of mine at another agency has been basically told that as he has no work he won't get paid and to apply for UC. I just want to put on record here my thanks to Best Connection for going the extra mile in these difficult times and I am grateful to be working for a firm that is thinking about it's employees. Started driving for The Best Connection in October 2019, when a major client decided to get rid of secondary agencies. Whilst the change was 'enforced' which is never good, the experience has been positive with only a couple of minor hiccups. The major point is that now we have Covid-19 changing everything TBC have furloughed their PAYE drivers, which, I believe, is not a very common practice amongst agencies. Whilst there is all the doubt and uncertainty floating about, at least the action to furlough drivers has removed the financial issues. Thanks guys
