I am very impressed with the services of Select Appointments. On my first call, after briefly introducing myself, the agent said he was sure he had an assignment that would be a good fit for me. He then organised the interview and I was in work within a week. He has always been super responsive, getting back to me immediately if I left him a message. Select's client, where I now work, also hold them in high regard. In addition, the employee portal, where employees submit their time sheets, is easy to use, and I got paid bang on time. Thank you Select Appointments, I would use this agency again, and recommend it to my friends.

After leaving a permanent role after 2 years I was contacted by Max who in a few weeks not only arranged a temping role to tide me over but also was successful in securing me a permanent role. Max is very enthusiastic regarding placing people in jobs where they are able to progress, he is also easy to talk to should there be any concerns or problems. Max should definitely be rewarded for all his hard work, I think dinner at The Ivy paid for by his boss would be a wonderful thank you!

I did a couple of temp jobs organised through Edel and John. Having met them in person and spoken through email, I can say they are both just lovely people. They're very professional, yet really friendly and you could tell they have your best interests at heart. For example, they helped me to update my CV and when I couldn't start one of the jobs on the day planned, they were extremely understanding and accommodating. Although, I won't be using them for the meantime as I'm now in a full time role, I wouldn't hesitate to find employment through them again and I would recommend them to anyone seeking work. I would only have good things to say about Select. They offer a really personal service which is quite rare for recruitment agencies and really take on board what job you are looking for and how your skills may be transferable. They were also really good at giving me advice to guide me through the interview which was a big support. If you are looking for a recruitment agent to help you find work in Oxford would definitely say go through them over any of the bigger agencies as it really is a tailor made service and you feel like a person rather than part of a production line as the bigger agencies quite often make people feel.

Excellent experience I'd left it very late and needed exactly seven weeks of work (starting immediately) to save for a trip to Australia. Having called and been turned away by at least twenty other recruitment agencies in Oxford and Reading (many who just fobbed me off with a one minute conversation and a 'we don't have anything' despite me not stating type of work, pay, length of employment etc) and considering taking a role sorting recyclable from non-recyclable material in a plant for 7 pounds an hour, I finally found Select. Surinder answered the phone and was incredibly genial and accommodating from the outset. He was able to find me an administrative position at CRUK Oxford in a very modern and friendly office, for the exact seven week period that suited me, and was even able to adjust my daily hours to allow me more time to cycle in to work. Surinder and Select have always been contactable at a moment's notice, and I've had only positive experiences with P45's, and questions I've had about tax and holiday pay have been answered within half an hour. Save yourself the trouble and go straight to Select.
