I was assigned a mentor from First Class through my Disabled Students Allowance, and have had two during my time with them. Through my three years at university they have been incredibly helpful, kind, sympathetic, and easy to get along with. Both Kate and Dan have been amazing help and inspirations; being a rock through tough times, a guiding hand in confusing ones, and a friend to laugh with or share anecdotes through the good ones. I cannot express enough how much they put into helping me understand assignments, set up strategies, walk through research, and be a second set of eyes in proofreading. The time they put in has been invaluable, and the main team checking in with emails and calls to make sure I was comfortable was much appreciated. Thank you First Class, so so much. And a special thank you to Michelle Gilbert for my tech training, as well as Sam Tandy and Dan Bentley for my study support. I cannot thank you or recommend you enough.

I was given 2 types of support from First Class as part of my Disabled Student Allowance. The support people are incredibly professional, and the staff at First Class who organised the support are really lovely, they assist me when I have any concerns or issues with the support I am receiving. They continue to contact me to make sure everything is running smoothly and check that I am okay with the support I am getting. I would definitely recommend First Class for those who do need additional support

First Class Support has provided me with invaluable accessibility assistance for over a year now. The sighted guides and note takers that I have worked with have made my firt year and a half of University not only possible but drastically more enjoyable due to their considerate and caring genuinity! This meant that we quickly formed a very effective, but relaxed, working dynamic. My Support Coordinators (Georgia and, prior to that, Lauren) go above and beyond expectations: to ensure that my accessibility needs are always being met. In addition to the academic side of things, my Support Coordinator, and in fact, each of the staff that I have encountered have been so friendly, welcoming and uplifting that, on many occasions, a call which I've made to log or verify hours can end up being an in-depth discussion into my interests, ambitions and achievements. In short, First Class has accommodated me with so much more than just academic support. I have formed a strong positive companionship with my Sighted Guide/Note-takers, Liam and Nevil, both, guys who have helped me so much that my course would have been infinitely harder without them! So to Lauren, Liam, Georgia, Nevil and Eve. I thank you all for truly enriching my experience at University but also, for enriching... adding to... and... Supporting me!!! In a way that can only possibly be defined as... FIRST CLASS!!!

I received support from FCS throughout the 3 years I was studying at university. I can honestly say that without the regular meetings and communication with my mentor, Celia, I would not have made it to the end of my degree. Her support was invaluable and I would not have my degree without her. I also found FCS very helpful and responsive via email, they contacted me periodically to check everything was going well and were always prompt in their replies.

I was assigned support from FCS back in May last year to help with my degree. I have ADHD with dyspraxia and so was given a specialist mentor and a study skills mentor. Both are absolutely fantastic. My specialist mentor has made the world of difference not just to my studies but to my every day life. The anxiety, depression, disorganisation and low motivation that can coincide with my condition have improved so much that I have been able to go back to work. The study skills mentor I was first assigned wasn’t a good match for me personally and after 1x quick phone call this was dealt with professionally and swiftly. I was assigned a new mentor without question or fuss and I have been working with her and getting on fabulously. Definitely a recommended service. Thank you!

All of the Support Coordinator's I work with are Professional, Enthusiastic and Diligent in their work, and will always go out of their way to do their best for the students and for people like myself (Mental Health & Autism Spectrum Condition Specialist Mentors). I have been receiving learning support tuition (LST) from First Class Support, from the 2nd part of my academic year and through to this academic year. Applying for LST was very straight forward, the customer services department where quick to respond and supply me with a LSA swiftly which met my complex needs of Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. My First Class tutor is very supportive and has taught me so much. I feel she speaks the language of the Dyslexic, and is totally on my level, with my learning. I don't feel like I'm at school and have had to start all over again either. I feel valued and empowered by my LST, she hears me and listens. First Class Support Supplied me with face to face support as I prefer this. Under the current government guidelines, I was supplied with remote learning. This new way of learning is something that I got used to fairly swiftly as my LST supported me through the process of learning remotely. I feel First Class support is in my opinion is Person Centred, that being the support that this organisation provides and the LST I receive. I would highly recommend using this organisation, if I could give them more stars I would. The learning support that I have received has changed me as a person as I feel much more confident to write assignments and this excellent support has changed my lie for the better.

They support my wife, without there quality, professional support my wife would not be able to do her university course. They have gone out of there way to help and supply information that has help my wife no end, and have supplied a constant and professional support person through out her time. You could not get a better company for your needs anywhere else. Very highly recomended if i could i would give them 10 starts

Fcs has been supporting me for two years now and have been brilliant I don’t think I could have finished my degree and go on to my masters without the support I have received and continue to do so.
