I have recently changed roles from being a litigation executive at a law firm, to being a Recruitment Consultant at a Recruitment Company. I've never really used Linkedin before becoming a Recruitment Consultant, but I connected with Phoebe Stowe-Forbes recently and I can honestly say that I'm really grateful that I did. Phoebe messaged me and we started talking about how things are going in terms of recruitment. Phoebe is very experienced in the recruitment business and so I thought best to ask her a few questions, as I'm new to it! She gave me a call and provided me with tips on what it is that I could do, to help myself in the recruitment world! I'm so happy I spoke with her, she's really helped me grasp a greater understanding of how I could help myself, from a business perspective and I can definitely see myself implementing the tips and guidance that Phoebe gave me within our 30 minute phone call, in my day to day working. Phoebe had absolutely nothing to gain from speaking to me and it's blown me away with how helpful she's been. I cant thank her enough.

I absolutely never write reviews but I feel like I need to! I spoke to Sofia and unfortunately they didn’t have any jobs that fit my background and experience but she was still so so lovely and professional and offered to take my CV anyway in case something comes up! Ive been dealing with recruitment agencies for the past few years and it isn’t very often recruitment consultants will try to go out of their way to help you. It’s just so refreshing to talk to consultants who are really down to earth. I’d 1000% recommend this company whether you’re a client or a candidate. Sofia is great!

Phoebe and Sofia are excellent, at first I saw an industry role advertised through Sofia and after a chat with Sofia she was very honest in that I wouldn't fit what the client wanted, and the role was not something I would enjoy, I thought this was really professional as a lot of recruiters concentrate on receiving the commission and quite often than not put candidates forward for roles they either haven't requested or will not be the right fit for. Following from this I spoke to Phoebe who I explained what I was looking for and what salary was required etc. there were a couple of roles that came up and fit the bill but Phoebe put a lot of research and effort into finding the right one for me. Once I had been offered the role she then also persuaded my new employer to round my salary up and also be more flexible with my working hours around my little girl. Hopefully won't need to, but would definitely use Dot Recruit again and recommend them to anyone looking for a role.
