Martin and his team are fantastic! I’d been on the look out for a new role for a few months and had contact with a few other agencies who put me forward for interviews, however support/feedback wasnt the best and I was starting to think that maybe it wasn’t the right time for me to change roles after all. A couple of weeks after I’d started to give up on my search Martin got in touch and talked me through two roles in a great amount of detail, as well as doing a Zoom call to talk through my CV. He also checked in before and after the interviews to see how I was feeling and how I think it went. I'd never worked with a recruitment agency before, usually when you imagine one negative images come to mind. However, it's clear Higher People genuinely care and are an amazing company with a personal touch. After months of searching for jobs, applying and getting nowhere on my own, I was losing confidence. Then by chance one of the jobs I applied for Higher People were recruiting/advertising that role. Martin contacted me to discuss my CV and some alternative jobs he thought would suit my experience better. He really took the time to understand what kind of job I was looking for to progress my career further, made some helpful ideas on how to improve my CV and we even did a 3D CV (video) which really helped bring my CV to life! Throughout the whole process there was a good level of communication which really made me feel valued, listened to and supported. I contacted Martin at Higher People via LinkedIn after following his personal and company pages for a while.
