It is an incredibly professional and hard-working team at Veritas Preston. I signed up to the agency shortly after finishing my teaching degree and had very specific terms for what roles I could take on due to other work commitments. Even though it took some time (my terms, not their effort!) they worked tirelessly to find me multiple positions in supply and fixed term. I have been working for a year with Veritas in Preston since September 2019. They are a great team, very friendly and professional. I work mainly in SEND and have been placed in great schools who have been very supportive. Jamie on the SEND desk has been really helpful over the year and has encouraged me to keep in touch. If there has been any problem with pay, hours etc he has dealt with them quickly. I have also worked for a short time with Jack on the Primary desk, again he was very helpful finding me daily work close to Christmas once my maternity cover was finished. I’m moving on to a permanent job from September but would definitely return to this Veritas team if things didn’t work out. I can’t recommend them highly enough. 👍🏻🙂

Veritas have been brilliant ever since I started to work for them in January. I submitted my CV to them and within hours they contacted me and offered for me to meet them at their office in Preston for a conversation. This was an informal interview and Jamie, made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. After having a great chat, I met the rest of the team and within two days I was working in a local high school as a supply teacher. Any issues I have had, Jamie and the team have dealt with very promptly and have all been incredibly helpful. Jamie is very approachable and you are able to communicate with him easily. With the help of Veritas I was able to stay at the same high school for a number of months with no issues. Previously I was with another agency couple years ago as TA and I have to say there was a big difference as previous agency were very pushy and demanded you to work. I’ve worked for Veritas since September and have found them absolutely fantastic to work for. My consultant Jack has been very supportive ever since interview, especially during very uncertain times (COVID-19) I was assured that he will do everything he can to make sure I won’t stay without any wages. I was worried at first about the amount of work I’d get on supply as an NQT, however, I have had work almost every day and after repeat bookings at a particular school I was offered to stay till end of they year and already was asked to be booked with them from September. Cannot fault Veritas at all, truly fantastic place to work ! Highly recommended agency with people who will look after you.

This is fabulous agency to work. They were recommended to me by the school business manager of my children's school in Burnley as they also use this agency. I am new to this agency but have worked on supply before and the one thing that struck me the most about this agency is how slick the registration process is. It's quick, thorough and I had my DBS through within a few days which was a relief! The last thing any teacher needs is another mountain of paperwork to sift through so well done Veritas. I have recommended them to some of my colleagues who are going to do supply teaching, others who are now moving into leadership positions across the county and a couple of my friends who are also school business managers. Another thing I liked was the friendly and approachable manner of the staff. I had met Jack for the first time and felt like I'd known him for years. I joined Veritas agency last year, and from the word go, it has been a pleasure to work with them. After showing my interest to join this recruitment agency (filling in a form online), I received a prompt phone call, with all the details of what was required to join the team. From there, I met Laura at the initial interview, who is an excellent person to work with. She has made the whole process smooth from the start. She listens to your requirements and any concerns you may have. Very cooperative in ensuring my application was successful. Laura made sure my immersion into school life was a smooth transition, by placing me into a lovely and outstanding secondary school.
