Hi have nothing but positive things to say about this company, they were friendly and incredibly helpful when I had questions. This review is not against this agency but against their flip flop client xps pensions I applied for a position with a pension company called xps group in Birmingham which was being recruited by focus resourcing. When I had a call from one of the recruiters from focus resourcing they confirmed that xps is not picky because during the call I mentioned that I have 2 months experience in a temp pension role and the recruiter said no two months is fine so after when the recruiter sent me the job spec I replied back and said that I am more than happy enough for them to send my application to xps. Then a few days later I received an email saying that my application was rejected due to not having enough experience. I found this bizarre because first they said you don’t need any experience then after they said you do need a lot of experience. All what I can say is that the hiring manager from xps should get involved politics if he or she is a person that constantly changes their decision and does not have the tendency to stick to their decision and my advice to them is that some experience is better than no experience.
