I signed up with Archers a few months after arriving and within in a week the team had found me a job. During 2016 and 2017 I had a number of temporary roles with Archers and now 6 years on I am still reaching out to them. Archers have never let me down when it comes to finding me a job or providing me with a reference. The entire team are true professionals. Thank you for providing me with an exceptional service.

J. S.Archer’s recruitment first reached out to me a couple of months ago when I applied to a job advert on indeed. Mark contacted me with a job opportunity that was perfect for me. He gave me loads of information about the role and wasn’t vague at all - he also made sure to be clear and accurate about when the role would most likely come to an end, there was no attempt to deceive me about this information which unfortunately I have found can happen with temporary jobs via recruitment agencies. Throughout my time at this job Archers never made a mistake with my wages - payslips and payments were always on time (again this is something my previous recruitment agencies failed to do). When this job came to an end the managers at that role informed us after 4.30pm on a Friday - by 11am on the Monday I had already spoken to Sue on the phone and had an email response from Mark, both reassuring me that they will do everything in their power to find me work. This has been a very stressful last couple of weeks as I had to suddenly move and a few other things and to have such lovely people really go out of their way to calm me down when I was panicking about finding work was a massive help. Despite Christmas being only a few days away Mark contacted me very next morning with another opportunity starting the next day - this saved me from having to begin night shifts which is something that would have been a risk to my safety as I do not drive and would have had to walk a long distance at night. Again Mark took the time to ensure I knew every detail about what the role would involve. He also went above and beyond by going out of his way to pick up some safety shoes for me as I couldn’t go that day as I was at work. I know plenty of places would have just retracted the offer on hearing I don’t have the appropriate uniform but Mark went out of his way to get that uniform for me when I couldn’t. When I finished my first day at this new job he even rang me to check in on how everything went. To take this time, especially when we are so close to Christmas is something I did not expect but am so grateful for - without sounding cheesy these guys really did save my Christmas!
Overall Archers are by far the best recruitment agency I’ve been with - organised, honest and (most importantly as they are dealing with the tricky and often worrying issue of employment) KIND.
