Worked as a contractor for Coyles Rail, in york for over 8 months now. the girls in the office are great always on hand if I need anything, Thanks Jaimie, Beckie & Rachel. Always have work available and never any issues with pay, etc.

Been at coyle a couple years now and never had any problems with the office, as they check in regularly to see if jobs are going well and if we have any problems or need anything. Since being at coyle I've never found myself out of work for long periods of time, as while on a project if there's a week where nothing is happening the office will try to find something for that week for us to do.

When I first started out on the railway 2 years ago I drove down to the York office to meet everyone and to get a job. shortly after meeting Jaimie and the team I realised it wasn't just a job it was a career, I have always been looked after by Jaime, Phil, Hayley and Rebecca and they have always put trust in me and gave me the confidence to move forward and progress into different roles, I have always been able to voice my opinion and concerns and been taken seriously without having to worry about any backlash or feeling like what I'm saying isn't being taken seriously which I have always appreciated massively, If you are looking for somewhere to start your railway career this is where it begins, I have been here a couple of years and have had constant work none stop and I'm looking forward to the years to come, thank you guys I appreciate every single one of you!

Signed up with coyle rail York office after leaving a previous agency we’re I was struggling to get any work apart from the odd Saturday twice a month was thinking about packing it in and having a career change but was recommend to coyles from a friend so I signed up which was really straight forward Thanks to Hayley. Where to start.. I’ve been on the railway for nearly a year now and the first 2 months were very disappointing, being promised work off other agencies and when it comes to the day no work arrives for weeks and weeks. However, that soon changed when I got in touch with Coyles York... Phil, Jaimie and Hayley have all been fantastic people and I couldn’t thank them all enough, I’ve been in full-time work from the very start and they’ve even put me on courses to further my career, I genuinely don’t have a bad word to say about any of these lot and I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants work on the rail! Best agency by far and I have used alot before coyles and was messed about constantly and didn't get a shift. As soon as I got to coyles and signed up with hayley cavanagh who was excellent and told me what was what on the rails it just got better from there. I signed up and had work within 4 days and so did the lads I signed up with which was perfect for us as new rail employees needing experience. Jaimie butel foley worked with us to help the lads who didn't drive get paired up with drivers so no one missed a shift which I though was a above and beyond. She stays in contact and updated always and is just awesome to work with. I would and already have highly recommended this place , I started my rail career with nothing but disappointment and now I'm on my way to my perfect position on the rails. Struggled to find work on the rail for months, went to lots of agencies who promised me work but never delivered. Until Coyles, only worked for a sort time as a Trackman for them but they have given me work consistently. I'm new to rail and didn't know which agency to go with, advised by my PTS trainer to register with Coyles, went to register on a Wednesday, was offered work on the Saturday and all the next week and the next Saturday and week after, since then I've had regular work on different jobs and sites. It's been a good experience for me, I'm glad I registered with Coyles. Phil, Hayley and Jaimie are great, they try hard to keep us all working and are always pleasant and helpful either on the phone or face to face in the office. They put a lot of faith and trust in me, not knowing me or how I would work, sending me to work with valued clients, I can only say that I do my best for them each shift, work hard and get the job done, some shifts are tougher than others......but that's rail!

Excellent company to work for, I’ve been with Coyles for about a year now and they have kept me in constant work and put me through a few courses, Hayley always makes sure I’m fully clothed and payed on time, Jaimie has kept me in work and even makes cakes when I’ve visited the office, Phil has sorted me courses out to further my career. They are a good bunch and as long as you work hard for them they work hard for you!

Despite the bad press that Coyles sometimes gets I cannot complain. They have generally kept me in work for the best part of 4 years. They are also very supportive and loyal to their agency staff. If you have the ambition and determination Coyles will help you to get to your goals within the railways. I've got no complaints.

I am pleased with the service that coyles provide. After joining in January I have had consistent work. Although it has been fairly quiet through the covid-19 restrictions they gave me some training and i have obtained a few more track tickets. They provided all PPE and face fit tested masks which enables myself and others to carry out work safely. With this company you get out what you put in and your hard work doesn't go un noticed. The office staff are helpful and friendly.
