I have just started couple of months supply teaching assistant with ‘Work With Schools’ and I have been so happy and grateful with the agency. The entire team of wonderful people have been extremely helpful, welcoming, and accommodating of my wishes. I feel that they are going above and beyond to help find me the right placements. I would say that they are easily the best agency to work for. A huge thank you to Ellis and rest of the amazing people working at Work with Schools. I have worked for the agency over a year and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in education looking for short or long term supply positions. All the staff are very efficient in the busy office. They take the time to get to know you, so your placements are always an excellent fit. The contact is often and the information always accurate. I have always been treated well once in the schools too. The firm covers a large area of the city and surrounding villages, so worth considering if you are outside the city centre and not just for those who are centrally located.

I have worked with WorkwithSchools for 10 months and during that time I have been impressed by how professional and approachable the company is. Communication with the team members is easy, through emails, texts or phone calls. Everyone at the office is friendly and Ellis has been particularly supportive since I first made contact with her. I am enjoying the flexibility and variety that comes with ad hoc supply teaching, but there are also opportunities for short and longer term contracts with particular schools. The whole team go out of their way to make sure staff are supported when life throws you a curve ball, which is a rarity. Compared to other agencies, you receive holiday pay IN ADDITION TO your daily rate, which goes to show their ethos of being open and ethical, and treating people with respect and understanding.

This is an amazing service for all supply teachers out there! Super friendly staff and they find you amazing schools to work in. They offer great CPD events that are free to go and they give some extra information on many aspects such as finding jobs etc. Would 100% recommend.

Worked at WwS for about nine months, lovely place with super friendly and supportive management staff. Was never without work unless I wanted it, fair holiday pay accrument, quick response to sick leave and other accomodations. Amazing place overall, if you're looking to get into teaching in York then start with WwS.

I first joined work with schools towards the end of 2019. From the first time meeting the staff they were brilliant. The registration process was speedy and since joining them I have no longer needed to work with any other agencies (I previously was with 2 other teaching agencies). They have provided work consistently and tailored work to my experience and Ellis, Mel and the team always check in to make sure everything is going ok with each placement. I cannot fault work with schools and would say that they are easily the best agency to work for in the york and surrounding area. Work with schools are by far the best out of the 3 agencies I am with. They get me a lot of work and the pay is fair. The schools they send me to are lovely and they always ask for feedback to ensure the schools continue to be good for us. Calls for pre-booking or on the day are in good time to be ready for when the school needs me and I get given as much information as they can get me including planning, car parking, class details etc. I have recently accepted a long term post but will be coming back to Work With Schools once that is finished.

John was incredible. Out of four teaching agencies in York that i signed up with, he was the only one who was flexible and quick and got me actually out to work. If it wasn’t for this agency, I would still be waiting for work!!!!! Also if they don’t have certain positions i was offered alternative jobs.
