I bought my dress elsewhere and had it altered at To Be Wed. Very professional and reassuring. Did an amazing job of bringing my dress in, trimming the hem and adding sleeves. Fantastic service, would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved my experience at To Be Wed! I found an amazing Kenneth Winston dress here that was on sale for about £500 - far more realistic than any of the dress shops I had visited in Edinburgh, and they didn’t try to pressure me into buying anything when I went and tried on and array of dresses. I worked with their awesome seamstress Debbie who helped to completely transform the already beautiful dress into exactly what I had pictured (we cut the dress shorter so I could dance and twirl more easily, added lace cap sleeves for comfort as well as a v-neck back and decorative leafy bits around the neckline and back). Everyone was very friendly and I received great service - there were always appointments available to have tailoring worked on. I bought my dress in December and even with so many changes and many fittings Debbie was able to turn it around in time for my wedding in February. Cannot say thank you enough for the absolutely amazing job you did! I felt amazing and had an absolute blast in my dress and that was all thanks to you :)

Found my dress on the first visit here, had to come back a few times with family members individually due to covid but the team were also amazing. They kept me up to date with the ordering and delivery dates even to the point of letting me know when my belt arrived! I'm not girly at all and the team soon picked up on the fact I don't want a lot of fuss as that would put me off. They did all come to see me in my dress when it arrived however, as they don't see a lot of people in halter necks so to see them excited by the dress was lovely too! Alteration process was fab. They took on board what I wanted to have shape wise and made it possible. Really friendly team but unfortunately I won't be back - this was a great once in a lifetime experience.

Best 1st and last experience of wedding dress shopping. The range of dresses was great, lots of different sizes too, so was able to get every dress on. The dressing room is well laid out, with a huge mirror and podium to twirl on. The staff as super friendly and catered to my own needs. Would highly recommend if your looking for glamorous treatment with personal space just when you need it. The staff treated me and my bridal party amazingly, listening to what we wanted and not what the staff wanted. Thank you To Be Wed :-) x

I got my wedding dress and bridesmaid dress at To Be Wed Bathgate. I am so pleased that I got them both here! Both dresses were absolutely perfect and the seamstress Debbie did a fantastic job doing the alterations. She was so friendly and we all felt very relaxed in her company. Fran was the one who usually met with us when we were looking for dresses and was always there when we were getting our fittings done too. She was brilliant throughout the whole process. The shop itself is beautiful and Fran has a wonderful collection of dresses to choose from. My guests were so impressed with the detail on my dress at the wedding. I would definitely recommend looking here for both wedding and bridesmaid dresses.

what a great experience we had on Sunday, we are two Grooms and are getting married next summer. Emma was amazing with our 4 Groomsmaids and was very tentative to us all, she let them select the dresses that they liked and made sure everyone had refreshment. Nothing was an issue and the Girls loved trying on the dresses. My only feedback for the company is that the sizes that are sent y the designers are all very small and when you consider the average Scottish lady is a 16 then you really should cater for all, one of my closest maids felt very self-conclusions as she was unable to try 98% of the dresses on, even though Emma done her best with her, it was not Emma's fault, you would just think that you would have more REAL WOMEN sizes. Please stock better sizes as it really did crush me seeing my best friend so upset. Thanks

Got my kilts here for my wedding. Was all good at the start then there were some problems like they added money in to my bill because someone made a mistake with my payment but it got sorted in the end. My son got a kilt too and the shoes were different sizes so had to go back which was a hassle when I had such a big day to plan for. One of the woman didn't know what side I should have worn my plaid so I sorted that myself. We were told to go at 10am on a Wednesday morning to pick up kilts and when we got there the woman said they were closed and didn't open till 11 but the times on the front door said 10 so that was another hassle. Probably wouldn't use this hire shop again to be honest. Only thing I can say is the kilts were really nice and I was happy with the price.
