There aren’t enough stars to in the world to give Karen for how amazing she is. Ryan and I were married on the 5th of April 2022 with only 23 of our closest family and when people say your wedding day is the best day of your life, they aren’t lying and the majority of that was down to Karen. We had scoured Instagram looking for a celebrant and thought Karen would be a great fit, and after a few emails and a zoom call we were delighted with our choice and were so excited we had found somebody so nice and easy to get along with who seemed to really understand what we wanted, we were so looking forward to be married by her. Although we felt we got a great sense of who she was, nothing prepared us for meeting her in person. Karen is truly beautiful inside and out. There aren’t enough words in the world to describe what a wonderful human being she is. Our ceremony was perfectly tailored to us, with our love story being told by Karen like it was straight from a movie, our Celtic traditions were no trouble to her and each was explained perfectly to our guests at each stage. We genuinely can’t have a conversation with any of our guests without somebody saying how magical Karen was and how the ceremony was unlike anything they ever experienced. Karen had our guests laughing and sobbing, and when I was looking down at my family lost in her words it was one of the most magical moments of my life. One of my family members even commented that they didn’t think much of humanist ceremonies but after witnessing Karen at work, they completely changed their mind. I can’t put into words how much I would recommend Karen. I could write a novel about all of her good qualities, and any time I think of her my heart bubbles with happiness. I feel like in a version of my life Karen is my best friend. I absolutely love her to pieces. She is a master of her craft and I feel like everybody needs a Karen on their wedding day, because she is one of a kind!

I am so happy we found Karen for our micro-ceremony/elopement in 2021. She is exactly the person you want to be part of your special and intimate event. Karen has amazing sensibility that put us at ease right away and brought guidance where needed, as well as genuine excitement that made us even happier in turn! She took time to hear about our background which she could weave into a personal love story. She was open to including rituals that were meaningful to us and helpful in giving suggestions to so we could build a ceremony that really suited us. Beyond this, she was key in helping us find and organize other elements of the event, like our photographer! On the day, Karen was brilliant: It’s so important to have someone who can bring the right type and level of energy depending on the situation and she was great. Everyone loved her. No regrets!

Absolutely FANTASTIC experience with Karen as the celebrant of our woodland wedding! I loved Karen’s vibes as soon as we emailed for the first time and knew we were two peas in a pod! She had great communication throughout the pandemic! Our wedding was a quirky, intimate forest wedding! Karen threw herself into it and completely embraced the madness. When planning our elopement from Canada to Northern Ireland, I knew I wanted the ceremony to be personalized to our story. Karen blew me away from the moment I first made contact with her. From the beginning she validated the vibe I was going for and answered all of my questions promptly. She tailored our ceremony to us and our personalities and weaved a beautiful recollection of the past 11 years that led us to that moment. A perfect mix of funny and sincere stories that had us all the right amount of laughing and choked up. We could never thank her enough. She is also the most fun, down to earth person you could ever want to be around on your day. I can’t wait to get our wedding video so I can watch it over and over!

Please please please do not hesitate and chose this gem as your celebrant!! Despite not being able to meet Karen face to face due to Covid, our ceremony was so personal, unique and everything we could have ever imagined it would be. It was clear that Karen had put in the work getting to know us as a couple ahead of our Wedding Day, her "love story" was just PERFECTION. All of our guests fell head over heels for Karen commenting on her humour, her way with words and of course her fab dress sense! My only gripe is that we can't do it all over again. There are no words that can fully describe how amazing Karen has been - not only on our wedding day, but in also in the run up. We had to postpone our first date then bring our second date forward 3 days to avoid restrictions. Karen helped through all the stress (and tears) of rearranging a wedding with 2 days notice. It's been four months since our wedding and it is still genuinely difficult to find the words to express how wonderful Karen is! From the moment we met her (and she greeted us with a big bear hug) we knew she was The One. She was always there with a calming voice note when 2020 kept throwing curveballs, assuring and reassuring us every step of the way. We can honestly say that Karen was absolutely awesome! We met Karen 10 months ago over a casual drink and knew straight away she was going to be perfect for what we wanted. She was very friendly, bubbly and down to earth. Through the 10 months and lock down, which was a very unsettling time, Karen kept in touch.
