Me & 3 friends did "The Lab" and we did it with 4 minutes to spare, absolutely amazing I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of going. Great fun for a group of mates to do for a birthday or just for a fun thing to do! We were served by Josh and he was brilliant, gave us just a few clues to help us along and his service was amazing, 10/10 i will definitely be coming back again!

We visited here last weekend and we had the best time! We did Dr. Wilson’s Office (Sherlock Holmes inspired) and managed to escape with nearly 7 minutes to spare. There were 6 of us in the group; a couple of them being seasoned escape room pros, and the rest of us (myself included) were total novices. But we all loved it, and we’d definitely return to do more rooms. Special thanks to our lovely Games Master Theodora, who helped us out with a couple of clues, and made sure we thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. She’s a fab photographer too!

We surprised our boss with a team building event at Escape Live, in Birmingham. The staff were very professional and ensured we were looked after. We played 3 games and everyone had a lot of fun. Would highly recommend!

My first time doing an escape room and it didn't disappoint. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and were well looked after throughout our visit. The escape room was engaging and had a variety of challenges/puzzles which we needed to work as a team to solve. The time we spent in there flew by. I'd definitely go back and would highly recommend as a team building day.

Really enjoyed this. Kept us entertained the only issue was the touch screen TV didn't work properly so was difficult to complete. Advice check your equipment and make sure it works correctly so players have the best game possible.

Great experience, if you love peaky blinders and a bit of mystery and fun this escape room is for you. From the moment you enter they are in character and you are fully immersed in the experience. We did the raid still shocked we made it out! Will defo go back again

I was invited again to try another room and update the review (5* for the management). We did Peaky blinders room. The theme definitely did follow through this time :) and the room itself was a bit different to what we are used to (cool). Minus points for "worn clues" in the room that didn't really do the job properly - this was an issue in every Escape Live room we did (Brum&Cov). We also had a very unfortunate game master who gave us incorrect clue at one point. We did the Time Machine room in Birmingham. The first bit is cool, after that is like they just put together bits from war and pirates rooms. It just doesn't make sense and the theme doesn't follow through to the next bits. It was rather disappointing. We did Escape Live rooms in different locations and the rooms were much better.

Loved it. Our family of 4 with 2 kids of 9 and 13 had a great time working through the puzzles in the "time machine" rooms. It was the perfect level of tricky but possible with some lateral thinking and all of us of all ages were able to contribute. Our host Eleni was super enthusiastic and seemed genuinely thrilled that we'd made it out. She was always there if we needed her but made sure to keep it tricky enough even telling us we didn't need a clue when we asked. We didn't and worked it out so thanks Eleni and Escape Live. Well done all.

It was challenging, (just the two of us),however, Tanya our guide was truly AMAZING and guided us when needed. There were some lovely surprises along the way. We now want to do another one. As a veteran of 80+ escape rooms, I was blown away by what has, thus far, been my favorite escape room experience in the UK. The room (The Lab) was crafted by people who clearly love escape rooms. The pacing was fast, the puzzles clever and intuitive, and the production value of the room was sky high. But the experience would have been incomplete without our amazing GM, Mark. Mark was able to deduce our ability, chemistry, and pace and always gave us hints at the perfect time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Escape Live Birmingham, and I plan to visit again soon. Even if it means braving the horrible Birmingham traffic.

We had a great time on the digital escape room Moriarty Last Stand via Zoom. Our host ‘K’ was so much fun and really made it an engaging experience for us all. The clues were interesting and well adapted to doing the room digitally. It wasn’t the most challenging room I’ve done but definitely a fun thing to do on a weekend with some friends. Highly recommend!

This place was good. 15 pounds each 6 of us totalling 90 pound for 1 hour of trying to find a murderer was not that bad. Hidden rooms loads of locks. They must be racking it in. We had the guy that looks like Dog Tanian who was quite nice. I wish I had my fitbit with me on how much I walked around 1 room would of been interesting to know. I would have liked a drink when we arrived not just a small fridge on where we had to buy things for crazy prices like smart water. I should of drank out the tap in the toilets. They are nice and clean by the way on which I was surprised. The only downfall was after you finish your room you dress up and pretend you wore the stuff in the hour. It would have been good to dress up before you go in the room. So overall I would go again to see Dog Tanian the guide and do another room but I would take my coffee flask. Thanks kiss kiss Steve

We organised a remote escape room for our team, based all around Europe. we chose Room 13 and had an awesome time. the technology behind the experience is great and really interactive! Dana was our game master, and she nailed it, gave hints when we needed it and provided a super authentic and professional experience. We Will absolutely be doing this again with the whole department across different rooms.

We booked in for both the Vr Escape room experience and then for the room 13 experience both experiences where a great mixture of challeng and enjoyment the vr was new to all of us who have never gotten a chance to it out the gentlemen in the plaid shirt who ran the game was lovely. They helped us get all set up and sorted in the vr headsets. They where a great help during the game where one of our players got tangled in the wires and when we wondered out of our play zones The room 13 experience was also a great enjoyable experience we where able to get out in time with 15 most to spare and only 5 cluse Both of these feel like 2 completely different entities the tactile response of room 13 really helped feel imersive but the virtual reality was an amazing first time into it We will definitely be coming back again for birthdays as this was a brilliant experience

I had never been here before took my kids and nephew we booked last minute time machine which we found out end was hardest one! our games hosts were Laz and Naz - they were amzingly friendly and really made the experience that much better. It was a fun experience and something I would do again - hopefully all the hosts are as good as Laz and Naz because then noone would be disappointed. thank you both!

Lots of new refreshing puzzles and clues to work out (I've done about 20 virtual ones since lockdown so you get used to some similar puzzles) but this had really unique ones I've never seen! I did the Moriarty - The Last Stand virtual room on Zoom with my work colleagues and we all thoroughly enjoyed! I wasn’t sure how it would work online, but it did work and Dayna was a great host! I also wasn't sure how it would work with so many of us and we had 3 different slots, but it made sense having a 6 person limit as it would have been too busy with more people, and it also made it more competitive! The puzzles weren't too easy or too challenging. I would definitely recommend this!

Well thought out puzzles and riddles meant this was ideal for first timers but also challenging for the rest of our party that were more experienced. We booked 2 rooms for my sister's hen party. It was an excellent start to our day celebrating. We had the Room 13 and Dr Wilson's Office rooms. The Dr Wilson's office was great fun and the staff were fantastic at making it enjoyable. Obviously, I won't give anything away, but it was a great mental workout. Our only distraction was the screaming from the other half of our party in the other room! It really added to the atmosphere 😂. I've done a number of escape rooms before and this was lots of fun. With 5 people, we managed to complete the room with 17 minutes left to spare. I'd say 3 would be the minimum to escape the room if you work quickly. Thanks Escape Live! We had a great time.

It was our first escape rooms experience, so I don't have any others to compare it to, but we enjoyed it immensely. Tried an online (Zoom based) Sherlock Holmes themed escape room during pandemic. Adam was a great host, and we had a good experience. It is obviously better in person, but the virtual version was thoroughly enjoyed by me and my party.

I was bought an escape room experience here for my birthday. Finding the venue was easy, we went on a Sunday and there was plenty of available street parking in the immediate vicinity. The room we did was "The Lab" the reason behind this is that my partner is in wheelchair and this was the only accessible room. The staff were very enthusiastic and incredibly helpful. The puzzles in the rooms were very fun and engaging-ish. This leads to my only negative, while the site and room were wheelchair accessible it really wasn't 'usable' though myself and my son really enjoyed the whole experience, my partner felt very much redundant most of the hour. On reflection there were almost no puzzles that were reachable or view-able.

Excellent escape room there's good choice of rooms and puzzles, the quality of the props etc are quite high. The puzzles were suitably challenging but the clues were cryptic enough to help without giving it away. We did Dr Wilson and it was great. Some excellent twists and surprises were included as well.

What an incredible experience! Did "The Lab" and it was so much fun. The room was a good level of difficulty and the introduction by Henrique was excellent! He seemed really experienced and enthusiastic about our experience. I went with people who had done an escape room before although I hadn't done one and we all agreed it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Can't wait for my next escape room! Will was very helpful checking us in and him and Henrique did a wonderful job. Until next time! 100% will come back and highly recommend going to this escape room! A really great experience, we did the lab room and the other half of my family did the time travel room. Loved the lab! Just made it out on time - one second to go! We also took with us younger children (aged 9 and 10) who really enjoyed it with us. I give four stars instead of five as some of the locks etc were stiff and didn't work right away, so you doubted that you were doing the right thing (just dodgy locks - maybe try a bit of wd40 please!) and the code lock was also difficult to operate. At one point a door opened that shouldn't have opened, too, and the host had to come and apologise and close it again. The hosts Alex and Rob were great - Alex was our host in the lab and he played his role well with good patter. Overall it is WELL WORTH going - you will have a fabulous time. You do get a sweat on working so fast in these windowless rooms, so top tip is to leave your jumpers in the lockers provided! Brilliant evening! 👍

I finally got to try the lab after hearing so much about escape the room events and I loved it! We had 60 minutes to solve a series of cleverly designed and theme fitting puzzles. We did it, we saved the world with 11 minutes to spare :) our whole group enjoyed it so much we were planning our next visit on the journey home

Good fun! Probably best done in as bigger group as allowed as some of the puzzles and clues were quite tough. The rooms are very well designed and have good backstories to them which all adds to the authentic feel of the story you play out. Excellent value for money.

Went for a work social and had an excellent time here where Ellis, our Game Master, led us into the Lab. A massively fun experience, even if we did get ourselves extremely muddled up at points. Definitely a fun experience - I could have happily gone on to try the other rooms - that hour doesn't feel like an hour at all! Brilliant experience and Amy (Birmingham Jewellery quarter) was very friendly and helpful. Advice she gave would have been useful from the person I spoke to on the phone prior to booking as Room 13 required more than 2 players (with previous escape room experience) as was really difficult. Only had 2 players in our party and we struggled with the first clue...so had no chance of ever escaping! (It was our first time in an escape room!) Will definitely go back with more people to try out room 13 again. We had loads of fun and it was a very funny day.

Superb. I absolutely loved it. Going to escape live I was terrified but getting there a man named Lazarus really put us at ease. He explained the rooms and told us we'd be ok. The Time Machine room was soooo and exciting. It's just indescribable and I would definitely go again. The staff were lovely , kind and funny. We escaped with 11 minutes remaining and had 6 clues. As it was my first time, our guide took us through all the rules, guidance and "need to know."he was absolutely amazing at putting us at ease and reassured us we should get out in time...! We got the train to the venue as there's no parking outside the venue so a bit of a walk may be required. Great value for money and better with more friends!

It's set well between challenge and enjoyment. As a group we finished with time to spare but pretty much all 5 of us are the kind of people to really get into a puzzle or challenge. More places like this are needed! To top it off you are made to feel so welcomed by all of the staff and it's not hard to understand because they have an awesome job facilitating this great experience to others. The best escape rooms… great fun, brilliant for team building!! We have just visited Escape Live Birmingham and we had a brilliant time! All the guys from office played and we decided to make the most of our visit and played ‘Time Machine’, and then one of the new Peaky Blinders (we’re massive fans) rooms, ‘Double Cross’, at the new B2 venue just 2 mins away. Time machine was great, a typical escape game that took us back to our youth, with brilliant puzzles to test the brain with a few surprises along the way. Although we are all adults, ‘Time Machine’ would be great for families too as there are parts that can be done by all ages. Then onto ‘Double Cross’ at the brand new B2 venue. Wow… if ever a budding was suited to the Peaky Blinders theme it is this one. We had time for a beer first in the dedicated bar area, and then into the room. It did not disappoint! Engaging story, really tricky and the quality of the room was incredible, you really did feel like you were back in the 1920’s… a must for any Peaky Blinders fan! We can’t wait to try the other new game, ‘The Raid’. We have played four other Escape Live rooms in Coventry and Stratford and they are the best fun, you know you will have a great time and for a business it really brings the team closer together. Can’t recommend Escape Live more highly!

Did the peaky blinders escape room. Staff were very welcoming the room was rated 4 out of 5 for difficulty but we found it quite difficult we managed it with 5 mins left. Rated 3 as it was quite overpriced for what it was. I wont reveal any clues but sniff the boxes when starting!

The escape room concept is pretty simple - you get locked in a series of rooms and have to solve puzzles to move between the rooms and eventually escape. Escape Live have a very good setup in that all rooms have camera and audio coverage so a member of their team can offer hints and suggestions if asked or if they spot you are struggling. You have a dedicated team member watching your escape, not watching many rooms. We did the "Time Machine" story and had a great family adventure. My children (13 and 10) loved it and the puzzles are layered enough to be easy to solve and deep enough to keep an adult entertained in how to apply the next clue discovered. All in all, a great time was had by all.

This was honestly fantastic. My partner and I experienced ‘Dr.Wilsons’ together and managed to escape with 4.5mins to spare, but it was no easy feat and it was an altogether challenging and rewarding experience. Escape Live has a rather unassuming office when you enter but don’t let this put you off. The Games Master and front of house Reece was excellent and made us feel welcome and at ease as soon as we arrived, he was friendly, explained everything well and was a real credit to the company. The puzzles were difficult but solve-able - no spoilers, but it will take a keen eye for detail, some lateral thinking, team work and a bit of good old fashioned snooping to find the answers to escape. We intend to return and take on Room 13 as our next adventure. I suggest you just book it if you are considering this as an alternative and fun way to spend some time together. We wish we’d have done it sooner...

This was a Mother's Day treat. Throughly enjoyed the event as it involved being locked in a room with clues, and a phone to contact the game master if you get stuck. Plenty of problem-solving is needed along side team work. A real adrenaline rush! It's a case of solving all clues before time runs out or your locked in. On this occasion we had 6 mins to spare. At the end a group photo is taken. Friendly and polite staff. Clean toilet. Paid parking near by - traffic wardens on patrol frequently.

One word of advice is when choosing what room to do if possible phone and talk to the game masters, each escape room is different and one may suit you better then the other.

Really good place, we escaped with 1 min left of the room (we did a time travel one where their where 3 different rooms to unlock and was the 2nd hardest rooms they had (n1 the lab wich we will do next)) When we got there we where really early and they have a separate room for you to wait in and have a drink and relax and wait for your room to be ready. There's also the main entrance woth all the rooms we went their and got sent down to where you relax (a short walk out side but was raining) we buzzed in to talk and they told us to go back up so we did then they say go back down again and we got in was a bit annoying tho. Now we where the first their we still had like 30 mins till our room and other people started to come. A HOUR goes by of just waiting we where the first there and where last to go in we asked y because they said the room was ready and it was because our god didn't know we where there. Comuncation was very poor.

We went to Dr Wilson's Office yesterday for my friends birthday. After escaping with only 1:34 seconds left, we didn't crack all the clues that was set us. CCTV camera was the highlight not only for us, but for the staff working there as well. Marcus was our games master for the day and he must of thought we were idiots. Spending most of our time nearly having panic attacks about opening the padlocks to playing on the typewriter and doing contemporary dance to the music in there (ringtone worthy) I would really recommend you check an escape room out because it's so worth the money.
