Reviews of The International Convention Centre
O. A.
I really thought it was a very cool place...visited on the 1st of April to watch Shenyun production and I wasn't disappointed. There are plenty of paid parking options around here within a short walking distance to the venue. Prices are cheap too compared to where I was coming from :)
We drove down so don't forget to pay the emissions charges...I believe it is charged on diesel cars only but please double check.
Located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, it towers and at night time it glows beautifully. Lots of seating spots, bars, restaurants and fine dining within the ICC (anticipating long queues for buying food and drinks when there is an event, plan to arrive sooner if you plan to buy stuff). The theatre was very spacious and great size.
Toilet facilities are available and ATM cash machines too...security personnel were also spotted around.
Beautiful architectural buildings dotted around the ICC, Hyatt's Marriott hotel is next door if you are looking for somewhere to stay.
Loved it and look forward to visiting again 🥰
P.S: apparently it's not too far from the train station as well😊
G. J.
My First event at the ICC and was not disappointed.
A very modern building with great views and a fantastic sound.
My only gripe was the size and number of toilets. There was a queue throughout the entire 15 minute interval.
Will definitely come back should a chosen performance be put on.
Thanks for a great evening.

Great location on the canal with parking nearby. Quirky layout with lots of different staircases (lift not working). Seating was great with uninterrupted view of the stage for Shen Yun.
B. J.
Visited for a business event in October 2021, location was good overall but finding the parking was difficult, this may have been due to the many road closures at the time in central Birmingham however it was not well marked by the venue. Overall a clean and spacious venue born for the speakers on the main stage and also for the exhibition hall, with a friendly and helpful team.
S. M.
Great place to see a show. Seats are a bit on the small side, but a great theatres. Enjoyed the show and the staff were very helpful. We had the pleasure of a visit from Dan Walker too at the end of Anton & Erin's show!
K.
Great conference venue, short walk from the station and easy to get to. Free cloak room + luggage storage.
Good food and refreshment options on the 2 days I was there. A bit more seating would have been ideal .
J. W.
Beautiful place in the centre of Birmingham, staff are friendly and happy to help and everything always runs well - we've been before. We saw Bianca Del Rio supported by Mary Mac - who is in the photos.
J. R.
This joint is great. I've hit it over the last twenty years or so, predominantly for gigs in the Symphony Hall within the place. It's now even better post refurbishment of the bar areas and box office downstairs. I could talk about the hall acoustic having played the stage several times, but I've reviewed the hall itself elsewhere. The Centre never seems to lack atmosphere, and the facilities overall are top notch. Pop in sometime, even just for a brew and chill out.

Beautifully clean and just lovely! The walk through and outside of Birmingham is breathtaking. Proud to say this our city! We have a year till the common wealth and you can see the investment is being well spent. It looks amazing and added to a beautiful night at the symphony Hall x

Hello Birmingham Updates hello everyone. Today was a great day, the trains did not reach my stations, but this current inspired me to run to the city center along the canals. 27 minutes of running is not bad, I can tell you, and the tan on the body will be super. Taking off my T-shirt, I rushed to the fresh air, water nearby, what could be better on the way I saw new graffiti very cool, but this is in the next post, yes, yes, I ran to the center and picked it up near the library. Proudly wearing a T-shirt with the Birmingham 2022 logo, a photo exhibition outlined me.
G. W.
It's a big convention center with lots of rooms. I'm sure it depends on what you are here for, but I found the whole experience wonderful. The ICC staff were always happy and efficient. Great food was provided at lunch and lots of staff consistently walking around making sure everything is clean.
A. C.
Fantastic venue for orchestral film scores - concert was amazing!well kept and organised. In easy walking distance from train station and city carparks.
E. W.
Great atmosphere, fantastic building with plenty of space.
J. G.
Our conference was very good at this venue they made it very comfortable and security was swift in letting us access the hall. They were quick to help my disabled colleague access the lift to higher levels of the venue and made it seem that it wasn't at all difficult to do.
H.
Lots to see and do - If you are parking at Q Parks Brindley Place BEWARE your satnav will direct you through the Sheepcote route in a Bus Lane which is virtually unavoided + £30 minimum City of Bham fine
R. M.
Good to visit conference however saddened by the staff not being able to sit by the escalator
Good spaces and staff were fantastic.
M. T.
Conference centre with good facilities for an extensive exhibition, auditorium and seminar rooms. Good standard of food and refreshments with supporting team very helpful and approachable. All round good experience in a location near to canal and locations for food and drink. Even a Subway and WHSmith on site as well.
G. B.
A great venue with diverse and flexible arrangements to suit almost any event
C. D.
Great concert at the Symphony hall fantastic venue accotics brilliant. Recommend to anyone that loves music. 🎼🎵🎶🎸☎️🎺🎻🪕🥁🪘🎷🪗
S. C.
Nice to get back and see a concert after the couple of years everyone has had. Love the changes to the venue and the meals are reasonably priced for a city centre venue.
M. R.
Went to see Shen Yun here last Friday,
First positives nice clean with good seats and a good view of the stage even from the side near the back.
Now the negatives firstly the route from the recommended carpark is not suitable for those with mobility problems or in a wheelchair, secondly the seats accessed by doors 7 and up are only accessible by a spiral staircase!! Which is both inaccessible to those with mobility issues but also I'm sure would be a deathtrap in an emergency situation such as a fire!
Secondly my sister badly bashed her knee on a small section of tiled brickwork jutting out into the entrance of the women's toilet doorway in the level 5 toilets, when the event manager was summoned by an attendant he was completely dismissive of the situation even when shown the now black lump that had developed in the interviening minutes. The best he could muster was did she need a wheelchair to get out of the building!! Didn't even offer an apology or any assurance that the matter would be looked at, he totally didn't care and couldn't be bothered to even pretend he did!!!
T. K.
The venue that event organisers dream of having! If you're the type of organiser who likes to think outside the box and want to give your guests/exhibitors a memorable conference, exhibition, corporate dinner or awards event, l highly recommended the ICC. I now understand why it's always high on people's lists!😍
K. N.
Just last week I attended a conference at the ICC. The venue is really nice as well as the whole Birmingham. I did not have the feeling of staying in a big city; it feels relaxed, not hectic like London, very green, interesting architecture and a very well managed combination of modern and old buildings. The canals offer relaxing walks while the busy shopping centers, especially around the Bullring (I am happy the bull on the picture is not alive) say this is a vibrant commercial city. I am mesmerised with the Central Railway Station - the structure changes its colour depending on the sun, makes reflections of its surroundings, and looks different from every angle. Discover Birmingham for yourself, it's worth the efforts.
L. C.
Staff were amazing, wifi a little iffy when on floor 3, but a great venue for a large conference
M. B.
Excellent venue went to see myths and legends great show ideal for children. Access is poor by car please they now got the trams running to the centre. Use the park and ride
R. K.
It was lovely to get out again after two years of lockdown, great event and the food was delicious. Strange experience as a vegetarian though, having to fill a form out at the table when it had already been preordered and was written on my place card! Not sure why that extra step was in place but hey! The waiter was a little cross with me for questioning it but the standard of food served made up for that 😀
N. C.
The Birmingham Symphony Hall (part of the ICC complex) is a wonderful venue; certainly one of the best in the UK. Great performances from a wide range of musicians, including the outstanding City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Brilliant acoustics, helpful staff and a friendly environment make any visit a memorable experience. I would highly recommend it.
A. M.
Went to see Shen Yun on New Year' Eve. It is an American company doing classical Chinese dance. It was very enjoyable however there was no dragon dances with lots of drummers etc. which was disappointing. The ICC seating was disappointing as we were on the side with good views of the stage but there is only one exit from each row which meant you had to climb over people to get out at the breaks. Outside the ICC is a well thought out retail section with lots of shops and eateries.
g. l.
A great place to visit. With bars, a restaurant and many different halls holding events and exhibitions there is also symphony hall a major concert hall. The canal out the back is beautiful with bars and restaurants.
M. M.
The International Convention Centre is a 80s architectural building with multi levels and am open foyer with exposed steel beams set in the city centre of Birmingham.
A short walk from New Street station, the centre is easily accessible and is also connected by a high level walkway to the Hyatt hotel and directly on Brindley place and Centenary square.
It houses the wonderful Symphony hall, home to the CBSO and attracting many world class acts annually.
S. D.
Great evening with Level 42 as always thanks guys good 2 see u all at long last. Thanks 2 all staff 4 all the work you do keeping everyone feeling safe so we could all enjoy our evening keep up the good work again thank you.
A. Q.
Watched Swan Lake, it was beautiful. Nice relaxed vibe at symphony Hall. Only slight criticism, the coffee at the interval was horrible, not worth it for the price. They pour it out of a pre made jug.
M. H.
My wife and I went to the symphony hall to see Sophie Ellis Bextor as my birthdayp present the acoustics were amazing and Sophie looked dazzlingly beautiful she has the voice of an angel which only sounded better due to the acoustics the only disappointment was £5 50 for a 500ml bottle of ubu beer
T. H. T. G. C.
Attended for a work all day staff event in November. It's the 2nd time we've been here over recent years. Great building of unique design. Staff very helpful and friendly and very covid safe. Their protocols are very stringent. And although security of this is to the highest level, the officers were equally as friendly and welcoming whilst upholding the necessary process. Thank you 😊
A. W.
Undergoing some building work when we visited at the end of November 2019. After initially struggling to find our venue entrance we settled into comfortable seats to be thrilled by listening to Jools Holland and his band with guest appearances from some other excellent artists. A large projection screen on the wall meant that we could see more clearly what was going on when Jools left hand went mad! A brilliant night out.
R. W.
Went here for my daughters Graduation, and what a fabulous place it is! Amazing facilities all spotlessly clean, great staff very helpful. Very accessible and just a splendid environment to hold such a wonderful day!
P. “. S.
Watched the final Question of Sport tour with Sue Barker, Phil Tuffnel and Matt Dawson. And they certainly didn't disappoint. Seating legroom in the upper circle was a bit tight but the views were good. And plenty of parking nearby. Great night.
R. D.
Very impressive, clean but not well signposted inside and difficult to find seats and obvious ways to avoid stairs if you are less abled.
E. C.
Went to see a show at the Symphony Hall. We were round and round looking for signs, but non to be found, then we were told it was inside the International Conference Centre ! I really think this place should put signs outside saying Symphony Hall as well. We were not the only ones looking for this venue !
C.
Great concert venue, we went for the spectacular classics and it was spectacular. They should put some more staff on during the break though. Endless queue and not enough time for everyone to get a drink.
M. B.
Difficult to find faults, the place is in the centre of Bham and always delivers! Not a tourist attraction but enjoyed by local businesses and social community for years and years. See you soon!
J. J.
Great venue for a corporate event. We've attended here every year for the last 6 years for the Theo Paphitis SBS Event and I'm always really impressed with the facilities, food and staff!
B. 3.
Had the opportunity to have an amazing events experience here attending the GKCC 2021 Conference & it were smashing...
I. S.
Know Business Center in heart of Birmingham. Lots of Commercial events happening here. Areas around this building is famous for Night life as many hotels and pubs are located.
D. C.
The ICC is Birmingham's artistic glass-lined red carpet. Grab a ticket, your friends & family, your senses and have a taste. It goes down smooth.
M. B.
Bright and airy space on the centre of Birmingham. We were there to see Jack Savoretti in the Symphony Hall. There is a Starbucks and a WH Smith if you need to grab a drink and a snack.
J. V.
Lovely venue, spacious and great atmosphere. We always look out for shows/concerts here.
K. W.
Great space. Never been before. Our original ace seats area had been closed. No warning or explanation. Redirected us with only 5mins to get to our three seats. This was a very very rare night out for me as a carer. My brother Richard drove. My sister in law Sarah a nurse. Sarah n Richard had bought the tickets as a Christmas treat for me. We had to make the best of it... Frustrating as it was. We should have been above the stage with ace views. Instead stuck at the back. In a draught from close opening doors n disruption of folks in n out behind us. The show was excellent. We were not asked for covid injection proof though we had it on us. Too many stairs for me n my health problems. Up n down in lift twice to gain our altered seats..... So sad spoilt our night.... Kim Williams.
Z. S.
Very good article building
A. A.
Went to see a show, nothing amazing. The parking is expensive so use nearby parking and be prepared to struggle a lot if you don't have coins to pay with!
H. T.
Top quality conference center the facilities are exalent. Only been the once to attend a meeting of about 80 people. Staff very professional the building itself looks very impressive. Unfortunately didn't have time to have a good look round.
I. K.
Great place for events. Provides good security to both exhibitors and participants. Lots of WCs dotted around and presence of restaurants and cafès makes it an ideal place to spend some few hours when there is an event. Ample parking spaces and various other parking lots close by.
M. W.
Very well organized, very tidy and brilliant my centrally located, right next to the canal with lots of restaurants and easy access to the train station and hotel...all easy walking...good for the daily steps.
s. j.
The theme this year was the greatest showman .brilliant acts .the food was excellent. Champagne on arrival.red and white wine on table and free bar .😊
B. M.
There is a Starbucks and wh smiths inside, clean toilets and staff were helpful. No events on just walked through to get to canal.
C. A.
Lots of space, with supporting bars and rest areas, with very good rail links, and airport 5 minute link.
E. B.
Saw trixie mattel at the symphony and the whole experience was wonderful, great event organised amazingly!
U. C.
Great place to have a party of any size
S. C.
Large range of confrences and events.
Rooms from 5 people to 3,000 people.
Covers a wide range of events.
Perfect for Product launches AGMs. Gala Dinners, Theatre productions, Weddings and so much more.
d. c.
Fantastic, up to date, airy conference facility with easy access to parking, restaurants, central spots and shops.
N. B. P.
Ok, but pricey shops there. The usual rip off Britsin. Conference staff were very helpful
M. J.
I love this venue with it's location right by Brindley Place and Broad Street for great dining before or after a performance. I have previously attended concerts in Symphony Hall but this time we were in Hall 1 for Blue Man Group. Acoustics were great and it has comfortable more cinema style seating. The complex also includes several bars, WHSmiths, Starbucks, art gallery and an Italian restaurant.
R. T.
First time ive been here and I was blown away. The place is amazing, big, clean, sophisticated etc. I went to a meet and greet, dinner & charity auction with the one and only Tyson Fury. This event was put on by Showfighter UK and managed by a man called Josh. It was really good and I fully recommend you try and attend an event as you wont be disappointed. The are lifts, escalators and stairs so there are no issues for people that require wheelchair access. Theres quite alot of different confrence rooms, all of which have toilets and a bar. If you feel you want to nip out too theres food places and bars very close as it is adjacent to Broad street. The amzing thing is I ended up winning a crate of champagne on the charity auction 😁
D. Z. (.
Great venue, nice cafes and facilities for all abilities
K. M. H.
Hosted a conference in Halls 9, 10 and 6. The staff are amazing especially Mike, Arnold, Kristina, Grace and Michelle nothing is too much for them. Highly recommend.
M. T. R.
Went for commonwealth festival opening. Great vibe..love the interior..larger than I thought. Definitely going back again..
J.
Symphony hall Lost in Music, tribute to the 70s era.
Fabulous evening, singing, dancing, almost felt normal, excellent band and singers.
Exceptional venue.
a. k.
Really good for conferences etc. Great location.
J. F.
Clean and modern building with some impressive spaces for meetings & functions. Well kept restaurant & cafe options, including a Starbucks with ample seating for informal meetings. Easy parking access from Brindley Place area (just over the canal footbridge).
L. F.
It was symphony hall in the International Convention center we attended. It's a nice theatre and we had an enjoyable evening.
c. D.
We always have our Christmas parties and work conferences inside the ICC once a year. I have to say this place is excellent, very spacious and the auditorium inside is huge with lots of seats and different entrances. They always have security on the door and you can walk through it to get a quicker route to some of the pubs just off broad street.
S. S.
Excellent venue for our sales conference and need to ensure your journey is try Birmingham New Street
J. B.
An ideal location for a conference given access to all the services available from Birmingham.
S. C.
Well organised and great acoustic venue.
M. T.
Excellent Covid checks in place. Felt very safe as not too crowded as usual. We could actually move around the arena without being squashed in the crowds.
P. W.
Brilliant venue just been to 10CC concert absolutely fabulous.
V. E.
It's a lovely place to visit and very safe for families
G. A.
Always lovely for big events, first time in two years to attend our Slimming world ball. Only 3 stars because of the covid safety measures. You are asked to download a qr code to gain a wristband. They don't scan it or even look at it? Not very reassuring in these current times.
M. W.
First and last concert since lockdown 1! Mirga and the CBSO in fine fettle with Ligeti, Mozart and above all Brahms 3rd symphony. A concert that will live long in the memory! Thank you so much!
R. S.
Great venue. Love the symphony hall, every seat is a good one, great acoustics and the bands always comment on how they love it too
I. M. G.
Great venue large open spaces plenty of food and drinks outlets and a lively arr gallery. Ample security and they are totally alert to covid concerns.
P. D.
The new performance space in new foyer. Strange that artists are in front of a large window, thus bright behind them, so in shadow! Won't be a problem when dark outside..... But most performance in this space are in daylight.
d. C.
Didn't actually go here was wandering around Birmingham at half eleven after a gig in the freezing cold looking for a pre booked taxi. I am sure its a very nice convention centre.
C. H.
It's all you would expect from a convention centre. It has every facility and being centrally located in the city is near everything you might need.
F. D.
A work place that enables you to get a feel of the city. Well located, a short walk from the main station in city centre. It has coffees and lovely Music souvenir shop inside. You are also moments from canals and restaurants.
M. B.
Very nice centre has lot inside Sylvester Stallone evening witg Dinner was fantastic.
R. M.
Nice building but not many places to sit in the foyer main walkway early in the morning
T. A. L.
A pleasure to work here always, the staff at the ICC take such good care of those hosting an event. A thoroughly enjoyable experience on site when installing our centrepieces.
M. M.
In the symphony hall the doors very annoying during a performance because they are noisy and the lighting is to bright when the doors are opened which is a distraction. I can't recommend the venue.
R. H. (.
Lovely venue but the seats are, like most theatres a bit tight. Good veiw of the stage from where we were.
R. L.
Great conference centre, but over £2 for a coke?
J. S.
Good place.. plenty of space and good facilities
K. L.
Brilliant venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly, whilst at the same time very stringent with covid checks.
Y. M.
Always enjoy a visit to the ICC, today we just walked through because nothing going on inside. Temperature check at entrance and bag check, during which the guy said that rehearsals had started for the free jazz sessions... every little helps get us back to normality.
A. C.
Excellent conference venue, well run with superb staff
K. S.
I was there to see The Overtones the sound was amazing and the show Brilliant
I. A.
Lovely, spacious and courteous staff. I enjoyed attending an annual conference here in November 2021.
P. W.
Wouldn't go here for fun, except that the Symphony Hall is here too.
A. S.
Lovely little eating place and wonderful walks
M. M.
Wardruna supported by Jo Quail, awesome gig.
D. D.
Great venue, if you are lucky to go and see anything here.
M. C.
Great venue for a conference
E. N.
Brillent evening. Food was divine. Really enjoyed our experience. Staff were very smart and professional
D. C.
Only walked through on way to Birmingham Symphony Hall - however this is an excellent Centre where all the new Covid rules were being observed.
B. C.
Loved the building. Very helpful staff.
K. T.
Maze like! But very comfortable seating in the main auditoriums & good seating in the other venues we are using. Catering very good - as a vegan I could still eat something different for lunch all 3 days, which is impressive for a cold lunch. Good choice of hot drinks & great supply of water (including ice). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable & went out of their way to help. Very impressed by the venue as a whole & with the staffing.
B. N.
Get place for a concert, especially when you get the right seats.
D. S.
Excellent venue for International conference. Ideally located in city centre
C. S.
Excellent venue for any kind of concert you may wish to see
M. B.
Good night out food excellent cause even better although the price for drinks was outrageously high
M. B.
What an awesome venue. Saw Stallone here.
S. W.
Although my seat was not in an ideal place to see the stage, (up on level 5a where I needed to lean right forward to see over the rail) I am in awe of the staff at this venue. I was unfortunately taken ill during a performance and my husband went to ask for help. The usher, manager, first aider and cleaning staff were amazing.
I do love this venue, aside from their reactions to my needs, because the location is great, the seats are comfy (usually) and the sound is brilliant.
I would recommend this venue to anyone, with or without disabilities.
P. M.
Wonderful venue in a great location. Recent refurbishments have enhanced Symphony Hall. Only disappointment is the terrible road links to the Brindley Place car park.
S. M.
Clean and tidy. Staff were second to none :)
M. A. (.
This is the view when you walk out from The International Convention Center at night. Additionally, inside the convention center you will find a Starbucks inside open till the evening.
J. A.
Very nice place in the heart of Birmingham.
B. J.
Seen quite a few acts here, the staff are generally friendly and the venue is well maintained.
S. H.
ALWAYS a great place to go to for shows, concerts etc. Have never sat in a seat where can't see who gone to enjoy.
S. B.
My wife had her graduation day here for her teaching degree. It is an amazing venue for this type of event. Really enjoyed everything about the day. Staff were great, and really helpful, as the place got very busy, and I'm disabled. I was treated fantastically, and help to my seating area in my wheelchair. Great venue for disabled people...
C. K.
Always a good place to visit - well maintained, clean and helpful staff
A. M.
Brilliant venue for it's need. Had a company conference and it went really well. Great size and helpful staff.
L. R.
We visited for a concert. Symphony Hall is a great venue and the surrounding facilities in the ICC were great too. From toilets to eateries
S. F.
Enjoyable time spent there convient and assessable
S. S.
Amazing venue in the heart of the city centre
S. M. A. S.
I visited this wonderful centre last week. I found it easy to find and it is near a big car park. The centre consists with lot of rooms which are not too big but enough to have medium sized meetings. Their main hall is quite big for very big gathering. The main gallery is well decorated and looks fantastic seating arrangement. The centre has enough restaurants and toilets for the visitors but toilet near the main hall does not have enough spaces for big gathering. I had to wait for 5 minutes to get into there. Above all, I like this centre and will visit it again in future.
T. P.
Nice venue, central location so not sure about parking but plenty of public transport available
R. E.
Close to the train station and picturesque revitalises touristy area by the canals.
T. N.
Attended the JD event for New Years Eve x absolutely loved it. Very well organised, entertainment was fantastic, food was lovely and hot. Shall definately book again to another event here. Well done to all involved organising this fantastic event.
K. M.
A beautiful building. It has a couple of coffee shops and cafes, handy for a quick drink. Very easily accessible. And a huge auditorium with comfortable well spaced seating. And a few bars right outside too. A lovely experience.
S. J.
Excellent venue and staff. Attended the SRA conference.
M. O.
Great venue, great staff
D. 1.
It's a beautiful, spacious, Symphony Hall, but for me it has always been let down by very uncomfortable seating. It's not the leg room - it's the poor seat padding that is not at all like proper theatre seats, with which I don't find a problem. Wherever I've sat here, I've been glad when the performance is over. It certainly needs investment in better seats.
R. P.
Graduation ceremony A proud moment for parents in this institution .
J. V.
Been to 3 comedy shows at Symphony Hall. Brilliant venue.
L. H.
Magnificent place,, great show,, did have issue getting/finding taxi to rail station. Staff said where to go but with elderly mother and torrential rain we saw no taxis ranks etc so had to walk 20min to get train soaking wet.. I don't know my way around Brum and no doubt I must have misunderstood.. But place is great..
R. S.
A very pleasant place to have a snack before a concert at the symphony hall.
M. S.
Great venue with a good selection of shops and places to eat.
C. W.
I found the place quite good. It was huge but just the right amount of space for the meeting. There are many bars and eateries in the complex which are reasonably price for a venue of this type. Security is excellent with many personal in attendance. The toilet facilities were adequate and very clean. All in all I would rate the ICC as good because there was a lot of queuing to get up the escalators which caused a large crowd to gather in the atrium part of the building.
Z. D.
A large venue for big conferences over several days
M.
Lovely place, a brummy land mark
m. a.
An enjoyable experience, easy to find, amazing atmosphere
K. M.
great place really loved it
M. H.
Used this venue over two days for a disco and Conference, the disco was refused entry by overzealous staff 1 hour before it finished saying it was nearly over. The food was done well the next day but sauce on a sweet and sour chicken was far too much, very sweet. The venue is very well organised and brilliant for any occasion large or small
S. C.
A good venue for housing the leadership hustings for 2019
A. R.
Great venue had our works annual conference here this year and the catering was excellent too.
S. U. Ó. L.
I come here for Symphony Hall which is marvellous. It is regarded as one of the best in the world and it is the best that I had visited. Not as famous as The Albert Hall but the acoustics are far better. Also, the audiences for the classical events are there because they like the music not because it is the something to tick off their bucket list. So, they know not to clap between movements. If you are a classical music fan, go to The Albert Hall once because of its fame but come here as often as you can.
G. C.
Had a brilliant evenings entertainment .Amazing Orchestra and singers James bond themes. Helpful and friendly staff.
A. E.
Great place to see bands, really enjoyed it
R. C.
I didn't spend a lot of time in there because I stopped to grab a coffee and a sit down but the place looks nice and the staff are friendly and helpful
L. W. B.
my granddaughter was in a massive chior. It was a great evening. very spacious. it has a good disabled facility. We did have to climb a lot of stairs but their are lifts. The acoustics are really good. The children loved it
L. P.
Great design. A good place to sit outside by the canal or inside in the foyer. Good free toilet facilities and a wide range of cafés and eateries. Obviously the Symphony Hall is fabulous. Art gallery is worth spending time in too.
R. E.
Well, when I visit it's always in it's Symphony Hall guise. I don't think a better venue exists to hear and see live music. Great acoustics and plush seating with plenty of legroom. But PLEASE stop the buggers standing up in front of me so that I can see the show too!
S. F.
In a conference, the ICC is bright & airy with a fair range of places to eat for lunch which is great if you don't fancy conference food.
Saying that fabulous food at the conference every taste catered for so no complaints. Well one complaint the hand dryers in the loos were somewhat lacking in oomph & did one water droplet at a time so unfortunately hands on trousers time to finish 'em off
D. A.
Symphony Hall is just a great venue. Fantastic acoustics, no restricted views. Staff seem ok but I've had problems with security when I have travelled by bike and they expect me to pay extra to check in my bag.
G. G.
Fantastic venue
T. O.
Nice big venue and friendly staff. Parking not great but nearby
C. L.
I've been to a number of evening functions here and the catering is excellent. For such a large venue they do a brilliant job. Centrally located and good car parking. Cloak room also on site as well as a number of smaller cafes, bars and a few shops.
S. D.
Good venue, good facilities, could be signposted to the doors and halls better though
M. L.
Went for the filming of greatest dancer. Lots of security doing a good job. Place was clean and well maintained. Subway sandwiches are pricey, not particularly helpful either. Swapped our sandwiches by mistake, vegetarian was given chicken!!
T.
The ICC is a great venue for the performing arts. Having performed here myself I can confirm they have an extremely professional behind the scenes team who all work together to produce an extremely well ran show. As a customer I have always enjoyed performances or formals here so. The only issue I have is that it can be extremely hard to find good parking.
C. S.
Great Steve Hackett concert.
S. D.
Large place and has helpful staff. Security staff make sure that you're safe but i thought that one of the security staff was a little heavy handed and needed to be a little less hard on the rough sleeper. Toliets are very clean and other area is kept clean.
B. C. u.
One of the finest concert halls in Europe. I came here on Friday night to see transatlantic sessions for my first time, it Was a truly memorable and remarkable evening. If you ever come to Birmingham visiting the internet Conference Center is a must. I guarantee your visit will be something you will treasure for the rest of your life.
R. G.
World class symphony hall and performances from the CBSO
S. g.
Went to the Concert Hall very nice venue.
R.
Big, loud and round; much like my..
M. B.
Top venue for conferences and Symphony Hall is a great place for live music
r. g.
Visited for the Phonenix Newspaper Masquerade dinner and ball. During our visit the staff were amazing, friendly and attentive, and perfectly clean. Haven't visited this venue for many years but its appears to have continued to maintain high standards. Looking forward to visiting for the next big event!
D.
Decent facilities with a good amount of parking and reasonable transport links.
R. H.
Great place to watch a show
C. R. (.
Well kept and we'll facilitated location for events and for conferences. Good central location and good public transport access.
O. T.
Great food, great service, what a building. Was here for the gb care awards and it was a fantastic night.
s. w.
Great acoustics. Home of CBSO and they are a great bunch a lads. Whats not to like ...
S. o.
We went for a concert with the CBSO. Fantastic facilities, food court, coffee places and very nice shops/boutiques under one roof.
I was surprised to see a subway inside but the students from our school loved it.
I would definitely come again!
I. C.
Nice walk around ICC and Brindley place.
M. E.
Fantastic venue and good amount of parking close by.
A. H.
Great place to have conferences. Very convenient location and great facilities
A. B.
Always excellent. Visited Symphony Hall for Bryan Ferry concert. No photos allowed. Usual great facilities at the venue. Well organised merchandising area, if a bit expensive in my opinion. Program was £15 but prices are set by the artist's management so no reflection on venue.
S. B.
Amazing venue with plenty of space to sit around without getting in the way of people. We thought we'd lost a bag at the time and the staff couldn't have been more helpful they searched everywhere. The embarrassing thing was we actually had it in the car....
H. E.
Really great location for a corporate conference - food was basic sandwich fare and parking was quite far away but all clearly signposted all the way through Birmingham and being able to pay for parking on your phone is a convenient feature.
The venue itself is huge with lots of usable space and the staff there were very friendly.
N. W.
A well presented convention center. It features great facilities and is clean. It's also a good place to hold meetings for small and large businesses. There is food and drink available for purchase within the center. The price of the food and drink is a little on the pricey side but there's a wide selection to choose from.
S. C.
I quite like the architecture but can understand it's not too everyone's taste. Symphony hall is well designed and sound quality is good. Lunch organisation for our conference was chaotic. Currently you have to walk through a building site to reach the venue
N. H.
Visited for a performance of the Black Dyke Band. Absolutely brilliant performance and worth a second visit.
The venue was excellent with lovely comfortable seats and the seating arranged so that a clear view was had by everyone.
A brilliant evening marred by the transport problem due to buses being cancelled at the bus stop previously used and no indication as to where to go to catch a bus to return to Stourbridge.
Birmingham Broad Street area not a very good place to visit while tramway being put in as a nightmare for public transport.
P. S.
Pretty good for a conference centre.
D. B.
This venue's good but they need better parking
J. R.
Great venue for a conference!
m. s.
Good enough, seats not comfy, sound OK. Saw big band sound, Martin Kemp his wife Shirley. Stick to Spandau Ballet sound mate, you were out sung by your support double. Just being honest. 🤔😕
M. V.
Having done many events here, I have to say it is one of the best convention centers in the UK. Staff are great, very helpful. Only complaint is there is a Starbucks. Wish they had decent coffee outlet.
l. r.
Giving this a 4* as brilliant place to go see your favourite show/music venue etc. Though you do need deep pockets for food or a beer. £5.30for beer and £14.50 for fish and chips takes the piss to be honest
s. a.
Amazing experience. .all different conference happens there. A place to be..behind the building you end up near canal where shops are amazing food and other. The front faces the Birmingham library and the Broadway road where all the pubs and nightclubs happens to be. Check it out. It's free to explore the areas
I. L.
Difficult to park nearby as building and roadworks closeby
A. M.
Stylish interior with some little gems (the art gallery is well worth a quick visit on the way through). Most food areas are good, including a very decent Italian, although seating can be lacking in seem areas.
I. D.
Excellent place for international events
5.
Parked five minutes walk away in Brindley Place. Well organised meet, greet and security. A number of bars serving quickly. Chill bags are a nice touch to take to your seat. Paul Carrack concert with helpful ushers. Seating is comfortable with reasonable leg room. Acoustics are amazing as you would expect from a symphony hall. Helps make the centre of Birmingham a great place to visit!
P. H.
Symphony Hall actually, always a good venue with comfy seats. Bar prices a bit expensive, but you don't really go for drinking. Reasonably easy to get to if you are able footed but a good walk to get to, even the entrance, if you are handicapped. Wheelchairs a must if you have one.
R. B.
Good conference venue.
But feels a bit dated in places
R. S.
Our Singing4Breathing Choir Sang in front of an audience made up of British Occupational Therapists attending their agm
C. K.
As a convention Center goes this is an amazing building inside. I've been here for a number of conferences and shows and the building inside is lovely. Some great architecture and some great views. All the shows ive been to have been well organised. Maybe some of the facilities need a bit more work or enlarging such as the toilets but is a good place.
H. P.
Really nice place and the show was fab.
M. N.
Amazing venue for the Digifest 2019 and holds up to the international however we travelled down from London with a few workmates with cars and it was difficult to find parking until we found Car Park 22 which is only one street away. Best to pre-book even though we showed up but the gentleman there was great. Great expo.
A. M.
Loved it and the area around it. It felt continental with nice restaurants all around it and pleasant walking with water views. Venue itself seemed to have good security, was clean and the hall itself looked very impressive.
G. E.
This is very large place. My daughter just past a the university she had pick up her certificate up there . We had some drinks down stairs at Costa. This was good place for people to go to. Car park is not to far away. When you put cash card in & when go it will how much it is. You get it from broad street. It's signed from Broad street. In Birmingham.
C. H.
We went to the Symphony Hall: An amazing venue, and I see a lot as I'm also a gig photographer.
Sound was good, seats were comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly.
R. R.
Very big and very modern multi-floor building in the heart of living district within Birmingham. Regularly hosts large scale national and international events and conferences. The meeting rooms, exhibition halls and lecture theatres are well designed and able to hold thousands of delegates. Numerous shops are available on the first floor including a Starbucks. Male and female toilets are situated on almost every floor. The building itself has two main entrances, and casual seating areas can be found throughout all floors and also immediately outside. Parking for attendance is available at the nearby NCP or at one of many secure hotel car parks immediately adjacent to the ICC. Would highly recommend a visit.
C. H.
Disabled parking organised. Great venue, wonderful show. Went to see shen yun.. Fabulous. Sadly restaurant we intended to use was being refurbed, Starbucks was chaos they ran out of plates as dishwasher was broken. Fairy liquid and marigolds???!!!
J. P.
Great venue, staff professional and plenty of places for food.
R.
Clean, bright, airy, fair amount of refreshment outlets. Needs more seating areas though. Symphony hall is our main attraction.
C. F.
Great facilities in beautiful surroundings and close to restaurants, bars and the city centre
i. c.
We were there for Airmic Conference and it is to my mind a great venue for conferences and exhibitions. Plenty of spaces, meeting rooms, bars and cafes, easy to get to from just about anywhere in the country and lots of hotels near by. City centre is so close to it is a great spot.
M. P.
Great venue for a conference.
M. B.
Really nice place to catch up on some work and have lunch on a busy day.
j. s.
Despite passing through the ICC many times over the years, I have only been to one event hosted here and that was a few years ago.
I recently came here for Digifest19 (a really well run EduTech show).
We were based around Hall 3 and satellited into a number of other halls and the main (large and well specced) auditorium.
This is a decent venue and well equipped. Proximity to New Street is fair and will be even better when the tram is running. On the downside - Brum road access is dire and car-parking is terrible. There is a canal outside so I guess there are other options for getting there.
Toilet facilities are good and plentiful and there are lockable charging lockers for phones and tablets.
Food provision is good if catered event.
On the downsides. Parking. Poor signage to the various outlying halls with much need of up and down staircases with little reassurance that you are in the right corridor space. Greeter staff are plentiful at the start of the day but rather brusque at the end and eager to shift you out - even interrupting obvious conversations. A lack of USB points in the main theatre makes it feel dated. Wi-fi is fair but there are many dead spots (due to the building design) and was pitiful in 2 of the halls.
Good venue but needs some updating.
L. P.
Generally a positive experience. Not enough working free cash machines - most charged, which is annoying when you're paying for food and spending lots in the venue. Secure, new looking parking facility.
C. L.
Every time I go here I go to a part of it I didn't know existed! Stood the test of time well and a fantastic venue
J. R.
Stopped into the Starbucks here for a quick drink before heading to dinner. Good place with lots of interesting things around. Also stopped in the orchestra gift shop and they had loads of interesting items!
L. L.
Went to see blue man group, lovely theatre, only downside we had was trying to find booster seats for my little ones to sit on, asked 4 different people, no one seemed to know, finally got told they were in the cloakroom all the way back out again, 15 mins later. Would have been better to have some out side the doors like most places have.
G. L.
Great location, very modern, nice rooms and great buffet food put on for our event
N. H.
Nice venue for events, we usually come here to see the odd comedian. Hotels are very local too. The only problem, which is the same at most venues is the bar for intermission drinks is a nightmare!
C. B.
Great staff and facilities.
C. H.
Awesome place, went here for the new years eve gala. Only reason not to give it five stars as we were constantly told we could not take any photos even though others in the crowd were doing it! Will definitely go again.
D. C.
Was booked to face paint at the British Transplant Games - Gala Dinner on Sunday the 5 th of August 2018 from 6 pm - 10 pm at the ICC. Lucy the event manager and all the staff and security at the ICC were extremely friendly, kind and helpful ~ very happy with the ease with which I was able to park my car, carry my kit through the ICC and set up my face painting stall on a balcony area. I must admit I thought it would a little bit difficult and stressful ~ it was quite easy and everyone was very helpful. Face painting went well and all the children were happy as far as I could tell.
L. H.
Great conference venue
M. W.
Stunning. Any gig is always great when performed there.
J. K.
The only reason I have given a 4* rather than a 5* is the lack of Public Convenience Facilities. I know everyone heads to the loo at an intermission or break-out period but the ladies esp spend the whole time queuing. There must be more in other parts of the building but everyone gets directed to the same ones. Otherwise.... brilliant facility.
L. O.
A light & airy modern complex with coffee shop & food outlets. The concert hall itself is very impressive & the circle seating areas give the impression of a large ocean liner.
F. P. (.
Shame it's only a Starbucks, but convenient for a tea/coffee en route to arena, or before a concert. Would recommend the ICC though, as the sound acoustics are brilliant.
T. C.
Well organized and smooth running place. Conference halls are well equipped and seats comfortable. Location is nice and nearby Starbucks and subway are great.
R. S.
Great venue for a gig at the symphony hall. Plenty of parking but if you park at the place near the ICC you have to queue to pay then queue to drive out of the car park. I'd advise the casino car park a short walk away at the top of Broad Street.
S. G.
Once you know where you are going it is a great venue. Can be very confusing finding your way initially
A. S.
Looks impressive inside and out. Out the back entrance is Brindley Place which has the canal and restaurants and bars providing a relaxed atmosphere to have a drink. Can't wait to go to a performance there.
T. A.
Such a lovely auditorium and great for attending Spoken Word events.
R. M.
Enjoyed my first dpd company conference here at the end of 2017 after 10 years with Hermes, credit to both the venue and dpd who put on a amazing event and added some small little touches which made the event special and memorable.
Highly recommended venue and company.
J. S.
Saw a brilliant Jason Isbell here in October 2017. Excellent concert venue. Good acoustics and comfortable atmosphere, and not too big and impersonal.
J. R. S.
Amazing place, met the King of Ghana and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The drinks prices on the other hand are not so amazing 😂😂
S. B.
A place full of wonder ! People can watch all sorts of entertainments but need careful planning as tickets prices are sometimes very high.
R. J.
Great convention centre with top class facilities.
N. P.
Love this venue. Ideally linked to the NIA and the NIA car parks, this venue is great.
Loads of rooms, halls and event space. Coffee shop inside too. Well worth a visit.
K. C.
Great venue. It can get busy though. Some landmarks would be helpful when you're trying to meet people. Also more toilets are needed!
P. B.
For what it is it's an excellent venue. But and it's a humorous BUT! The service in the cafe, restaurant and bar areas is painfully slow, like a garden Slug moves quicker in a Slu race!
D. C.
We visited Castle Fine Arts and saw the STAN LEE COLLECTION. Thanks to Rachael for showing us this incredible range of exclusive art. I'm looking forward to the Ronnie Wood guitar collection next.
R. T.
Large modern building in a city centre location, close to the canal and a number of hotels to suit every budget, with impressive conference facilities, and friendly staff to assist and give directions. The IIC is close to a number of bars and restaurants, though the conference centre has a number of shops and coffee shops/food outlets within it. The centre is fully accessible, with wheelchair accessible entrances and lifts to all floors.
S. P.
It's a great place to watch an event, prices not too bad, vies and sound quality are excellent, only issue, ladies toilets, nowhere near enough, this coming from a man who has to wait for his wife!
M. S.
Symphony Hall great venue
S. D.
Nice conference hall. Great facilities.Definitely recommend for big functions. Only downside is delegates getting ripped off to keep their bags and coats safe. Insulting really.
S. B.
Really nice place to visit staff are friendly
F. A.
Beautifully spacious, great place to hold conferences, lovely just to calmly walk through, or grab a coffee or visit the art gallery and wonderful to just sit down and rest or walk through towards Brindley Place.
A. B.
Large conference centre with lots of different rooms split over the various floors.
The conference rooms are well kitted out with audio & visual equipment perfect for any event.
Staff are friendly and will happily direct you to the right area.
Food and drinks offered are great.
A. D.
Bright and clean excellent staff around and very helpful
P. S.
Good facilities but impersonal and noisy. Feels like an airport terminal building. Very expensive. Terrible lighting/air quality - definitely avoid if you suffer from migraine condition!
M. C.
I attended a small weekday conference. The venue was amazing, the ICC staff did a great job and the facilities are as good as you'd expect.
The surrounds of the centre are welcoming and pleasant.
M. A.
Nice exhibition space with good facilities super careful about safety
a. b.
We had our yearly Travelodge Gala Evening there on 21st. I have to say the beef was cooked to perfection. Can only praise all the staff involved
B.
Great experience, amazing theatre. Hated the awful drill rap cacophony of the "Punjab dance troupe" in this hallowed citadel of the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. What an execrable insult to Western culture, ostensibly in the name of "diversity". This abomination was arranged by the event organisers NOT the convention centre.
J. L.
The most fabulous event hosted
T. B.
My company hired rooms to carry out exams. Good venue, staff very helpful, lots of tea, coffee and biscuits. Lunch good too.
A. L.
Easy to find. Few car parks close to the venue. Air conditioning. Coffee places. Clean public toilets. Nice place to spend time with family.
h. c.
Bright, clean, safe environment, significantly big building, Starbucks, along with others and great halls accessable to all also toilets and coat storage for a small charge.
G. W.
Situated in central Birmingham, the NEC has parking closely adjacent. It is spacious with many shops, coffee and restaurants covering two floors. It hosts many events and is relatively easy to get to with hotels, entertainments and other facilities available in the surrounding streets, canal side and city areas.
A. B.
Very welcoming and the event was held in a spacious room
J. I.
Great venue, was attending an international conference. A selection of large seminar rooms and one large open area where tea and coffee was served. Very helpful and polite staff.
J. m.
It is a nice place to host event but not sure about prices
C. L.
Good conference centre. Food is very good too.
L. B.
The Symphony Hall (part of the International Convention Centre) is brilliant. The sound quality is second to none and I highly recommend the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra with their latest conductor Mirga Grazinte -Tyla. She inspires them and they play beautifully.
S. F.
A great place where official functions are held and quite nice and universities book for the season. Quite a large hall and can fill in 5000 ++ people easily.
The location is also nice and closeby there is a car park (public). Photoshoot nice location
P. S.
Amazing venue for a musical experience
P. M.
We went to a conference there on the worst day for snow, the tiles leading upto the venue were very slippy for me and my guide dog. I have been there before and this has not been a problem hence 4 stars.
R.
It's a conference centre with a hall and meeting rooms. Good place for a conference , many restaurants nearby.A starbucks in the ICC. I have been there for quite a few conferences there
d. d.
Wonderful venue for concerts and performances. Atrium has food outlets, coffee shops, some shopping opportunities. Pleasant ambience. Parking nearby. Comfortable.
•. K. •.
Very clean and huge place worked here on contracts before and it was a really nice place to work it's also a great short cut to get to the canals and the scenery behind the ICC is gorgeous especially in the summer.
C. a.
Went to a CBSO concert which was magnificent. Have to say that the ICC was a shambles. Nobody knew when the doors opened. Nobody knew where the programmes could be bought. As for Subway none of the staff seemed to have been told how to make sandwiches
M. h. (.
Had a great evening listening to the music of lord of the rings, the hobbit and game of thrones, lots of venues planned and the latest free brochure is out now for up coming events
S. W.
This is a very pretty convention center with a modern feel. I enjoyed my time here - the only negative is that some of the rooms are very far apart and hard to find. Allow extra time between sessions if possible!
r. s.
I just love this place wonderful design. The place was buzzing. The concert and music spectacular had a lovely time as usual.
J. S.
Graduation Award Ceremony held here every year, Magnificent symphony hall. Great venue for meetings. Central to all facilities.
J. G.
Large facility which is connected to the Hyatt Regency hotel via a covered people bridge. There were a few hardware hiccups related to microphones, display unit in one room and the wifi was slow for presenter attempting a live demo in a room. Escalator had some maintenance during the 3 day conference.
S. M.
Very impressive layout
L. F.
Great place for all different types of functions. I worked here through an agency called OTW for a very long time.
M. M.
Home of classic mysic, often used for graduation ceremonies, and a variety of food and drink. Even a small art shop where you can view various work for sale. Bright and airy it is located beside Brindley Place.
A. H.
Great conference venue
P. S.
Great venue. Amazing acoustic's.
J. G.
Actually visited Symphony Hall rather than the ICC. Pleasant enough staff, ice creams available at the interval, pop up bar for the alkies!
P. H.
Symphony Hall actually, always a good venue with comfy seats. Bar prices a bit expensive, but you don't really go for drinking. Reasonably easy to get to if you are able footed but a good walk to get to, even the entrance, if you are handicapped. Wheelchairs a must if you have one.

1 of the best venues in the UK. Fabulous concerts. Great events and much more in a brilliant location.
J. R.
Very convenient and well staffed
A. S.
Looks impressive inside and out. Out the back entrance is Brindley Place which has the canal and restaurants and bars providing a relaxed atmosphere to have a drink. Can't wait to go to a performance there.
T. C.
Awesomeness
R. H.
Needs a few Halal eateries.
M. N.
Amazing venue for the Digifest 2019 and holds up to the international however we travelled down from London with a few workmates with cars and it was difficult to find parking until we found Car Park 22 which is only one street away. Best to pre-book even though we showed up but the gentleman there was great. Great expo.
T. 2.
Great venue for a conference. Comfortable with good food options and right in town so local amenities nearby
L. H.
Acoustics good. Good view of stage from most seats. A lot of steps from car park to venue.
M. L.
Conference staff well organised, mediocre lunches. Some technical difficulties when showing slides. On one day, vegan flapjacks were available to all delegates, but not included in the provided vegan lunches. Baffling.
K. M.
This place is huge.. If your visiting for a show of some sort, take plenty of money as the beverages are expensive, worth going to eat first as many restaurants and pubs. Allow plenty of time to get here if there is a show on as gets very busy
M. V.
Wow..a really modern and nice location. If you want you can stay here with your friends and drink coffee or eating in the restaurants. For some snacks you can go in the little shop.
S. W.
Impressive venue, well set up for events with multiple lectures/conferences. Staff were very patient with my dining requirements despite being given no prior warning.
A. C.
Very good but it could do with an extra disabled toilet and more information about where you get the key from the cloakroom attendant.
Z.
Nice place, toilets are clean and there is a Starbucks in there
C. S.
Fabulous venue for corporate events
S. P.
Lovely venue easy to find car park within 1 min walking distance.
T. 2.
Great venue for a conference. Comfortable with good food options and right in town so local amenities nearby
K. R. B.
We had friend's birthday party and it was great place. We was well looked after and had a fab time .
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
K. L.
Easy to get to, accomodation and food of all sorts closeby. Well lit, clean facility with good wireless and washrooms. Coat check on main floor is inexpensive and handy.
r.
Saw Kraftwerk. Great seat too
L. A.
Beautiful place went there for the Mvisa Awards
D. W.
OK bit too in your face
C. S.
The main concourse of the centre is a public space providing access between brindleyplace and Centenary square having cafe and coffee shop facilities. The concourse gives access to fantastic conference facilities and the world class symphony hall. A covered bridge links the ICC with the Hilton hotel on Broad Street.
I. A.
Wonderful venue, great show.
N. C.
I only had a coffee there and did not see what the whole place had to offer. I thought it was great none the less with a Starbucks Smith's newsagent and subway all there
T. N.
Great venue, friendly and helpful staff. Came to watch music performance and there are nothing to complaint og
T. S.
Great concert hall ,great shows/ concerts.
F. F.
Loved the Dali & Dylan artworks in the Gallery...nice & interesting approachable staff. Much enjoyed viewing these works.
O. Q.
Went for cbso Beethoven no 7. Can't describe how excited I was! As it was my first time listening to Beethoven no 7 after missing it on andris Nelson's Nobel prize concert performance 3 years ago.
R. L.
Good place for a national conference. Audio visual are to class. Test rooms are modern and kept clean. Staff was helpful.
D. H.
Splendid space, opening on to canal side, Brindley Place, new library etc. Includes cafe, loos, shops and the excellent Symphony Hall.
A. C.
We held an event here, by far the smoothest and best run event I've been to with my company, personally I would definitely use them again.
j. m.
I went to hall 1 for Britains Got Talent. It was better than any theatre and was easy to find my way round. Thete were adequate ICC staff on hand to point the way if confusion of any location arose
T. H.
Fabulous amazing venue, been here so many times and will return many more times.
R. T.
First time been in the ICC nice place the atmosphere in the building were great on Friday night wasn't happy with my main dish chicken breast dry no moisture ,only good thing it came hot (such waste leave on table)
A. W.
Excellent facilities, and outstanding service. Any team that can serve a good three-course meal just shy of a thousand people in under half an hour deserves recognition.
I. J.
Exciting developments here in birmingham integrating the ICC into a beautiful square
A. T.
Warm welcome by staff with spacious and well lit interior. A host of bars and cafes are available and other key facilities.
N. O.
Went for a concert as ive done man times before. My experience is that there auditorium is well set out and concidered. Please visit and enjoy :-)
M. f.
Been here a few times with my daughter and wife never had any problems here always found where we needed to go amazing arena
C. H.
It's a great place for an event, was at the classic car show, fantastic time.Very easy to get to especially from the airport. lovely staff very friendly and helpful.Easy to get around
L. S.
This conference centre was huge with convenient shops and cloak room. Reasonably easy to get to and great location, especially with the canal running alongside.

What a great venue for a great Christmas party. A night for all sized companies to gather their staff, thank them for their work and let them party the night away.

We had the Jamberry UK 🇬🇧 Conference here and facilities were great. Auditorium, stage, dining area, Starbucks. Fantastic day.

Very good facilities for conferences and other large gatherings

Went here for my university graduate ball, very nice vibe decoration and set up. However it was terribly over priced for some overdone chicken and mashed potato.

1 of the best venues in the UK. Fabulous concerts. Great events and much more in a brilliant location.

Great venue lots going on. Well worth a visit. Need to book for shows in advance.

The ICC is a splendid place very spacious it's got plenty of restaurants and eateries. There is lots of information about other sites in and around Birmingham. Everywhere in the ICC there is lots to see and plenty of assistance if you need it

Interesting architecture. Great for conferences. Contains the symphony hall, one of the most acoustically perfect spaces in the world.
K. K.
Great place for live music.

A great place to meet friends. A nice buzz about the place, especially at the weekend. Starbucks cafe, ambiant and busy.
M. M.
Nice open space. I've been to a few conferences here. With Brindley Place across the bridge you have access to lots of restaurants and bars

Nice and spacious and clean

A great venue. Parking nearby in Brindley Place (booked in advance) if you want to avoid delays when leaving and only a short walk.

The NEC is great as it brings many things to Birmingham that are great. Each year me and the family will be at a show or concert and we always have a great time.

Only been to one event here but it's great for events. It was decorated beautifully, super easy to get to, really nice location.
D. M.
Fabulous venue. Attracts lots of big name acts and lots of variety of entertainment. V comfy seating.
I. C.
An excellent conference facility located in central Birmingham. The ICC is a great venue which also caters for concerts alongside the symphony hall.
P. C.
Went to an orchestral concert. Good seating, warm and sound quality good. No parking so best catch the train.
k. h.
Love seeing a show here, so intimate
M. M.
Visited Symphony Hall, Excellent Concert but if you go be aware some of the seats slope downward (assume it's a fault) so makes for uncomfortable sitting even beyond them not being padded well enough, Took me a little while to even manage to stand after the first half, Beyond that and the horrific drink prices it's a very nice venue
S. W.
Acoustically superb, best sounding gig I ever heard (TBF Steven Wilson) . £5 a pint though?
R. V.
Very nice place great sound in there some very good shows on and bands to see
L. b.
Went for Son's graduation at symphony Hall
M. P.
This is one of the best venues in Birmingham to see a concert. Great acoustics and stage viability.

Amazing experience. We eere here as sponsors for the Birmingham Post Business Awards 2017. It was an amazing night. Thank you.
P. B.
Went for a quick meal in the cafe in between 2 shows at the rep.
Lasagne salad and garlic bread a very nice reasonably priced meal

Great venue with phenomenal surround sound . City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra were simply enchanting.

A great demonstration of what Birmingham is capable of when it does things well. Excellent facilities, ambiance, and staff. Always a pleasure

Lovely venue, easy parking, good to catch up with old friends, network and lots of shared learning.

Nice Starbucks inside, really quiet.
J. M.
Came here for a conference. Superb facilities, lovely catering and plenty of staff around at all times to show us the way!
P. H.
Excellent concert hall, classical music sounds wonderful here, and also brilliant for other music.
A. H.
Enter Shikari where awesome one of the best live performances I've seen for years. As usual beer is over priced and hog wash...
A. P.
Fantastic venue. The only thing stopping me from giving a 5 star rating was the astronomical price of the drinks.
m. W.
Brilliant for events, but a little disappointed that they have got rid of their own 'kitchen' and have made a big Starbucks instead
M. S.
Nice clean and well laid out the staff were only too willing to help we had a blast
R. M.
Good for large convention, but a severe lack of seating in some areas, and difficult to find lifts make it hard for the ambulant disabled.
M. G.
Great place for big meetings. Go there once year and I always really enjoy it. Well recommend.
W. M.
Great place take your own water though.
S. B.
Not too big a venue, and there is a Starbucks onsite. But odd layout for a big conference. Close to rail and road , though Birmingham traffic can be bad.
H. A.
We had a conference downstairs but the toilets were upstairs causing a lot if squash during break. Parking was available but was all full.
A. L.
A great venue but it needs to have a few more drink and food options at night.
J. B.
Went through. Also did you know that the drains outside have rubber on them that rips when it is opened so that if anyone planted a bomb underneath the ICC then then they would know something was going on?
K. A.
Great music bands at weekends, busy bar, coffee area, very spacious upper part, great for party get togethers.
C. M.
More signage for toilets please
A. J. S.
Came here to see a tv programme being recorded and had a fabulous time..parking was easy and nearby, the staff were very helpful and it was very pleasant.
L. G.
Nice food 😋

Generally not too busy. Security guard did a ‘random check’ on the one POC in my group and searched his bag. Overall, the staff are friendly enough.
P. B.
Ideal place for a large conference. Prices for coffee and snacks are ridiculously high.

Nice venue and atmosphere, good facilities and helpful staff on hand. Could do with a bit more signage.
M. K.
Great venue for all sort of occasions, very good access from Birmingham New Street station, very good facilities.

Great space. Very friendly staff. Expected more from the exhibition I visited - Black girl Essex

Fabulous visit again. Wonderful Anthony Inglis and his superb concert orchestra.

An oasis of calm amid all the road works and building work
Good walk through to the canal side restaurants
Has a Starbucks and very clean toilets
j. m.
Rooms are very old fashioned in places but newer areas are nice and roomy. Very well organised for conventions and conferences.
A. C.
Great venue to watch a gig
G. B.
Top venue in Birmingham great Christmas parties

Saw Steve Hackett there. Much better acoustics than the NIA. Comfortable seats. Helpful staff.
