We hired Mr Merlin for our Son’s 4th birthday party. All the children & adults were instantly engaged & laughing throughout. The children thoroughly enjoyed the magic, comedy & of course Okey Dokey. It really helped bring the children that didn't know each other together & they went on to happily play together afterwards. Many of the parents also commented on how enjoyable it was. Mr Merlin responded to all enquiries quickly, arrived & started on time & improvised to the children & adults in the space perfectly. He was able to include a superhero trick into the show after noticing my son’s love for superheroes. Thank you Mr Merlin & Okey Dokey, it’s been almost a decade since I last saw one of your shows and it certainly did not disappoint.

Mr Merlin is absolutely fantastic! We first had the pleasure of watching him at a families' day, which then informed us to book him for our boys' birthday party. He is well known in our local area now! He is very engaging, keeps the children (and adults) interested and has everybody laughing for the entire 45 minutes. Would definitely recommend booking Mr Merlin for any type of event.

We hired Mr Merlin to entertain a group of children and their parents for a charity event. He kept the children engaged starting with games and a magic show. His props and sound effects were great and he made balloon animals for the children too. He kept everyone laughing throughout the evening - with a few jokes for the adults too! Mr Merlin & Okey Dokey were excellent as always. They performed 3 different shows at Bouncy Fun Play - The Mobile Bouncy Castle Play Centre in Feb Half Term and they were all fantastically funny. Its great to be able to leave the entertainment to a true professional, who will keep the kids and even the adults engaged. So easy to book, work with and communicate with. Overall a nice chap, with obvious years of experience who can give you advice and for the event or party to the best it can be. We'll definitely have them both back again. Thank you

They had an amazing time, all their friends had fun, and we had plenty of time with the kids all occupied to get the party tea ready (what more could a parent want!). What a fabulous party! Mr Merlin just performed at our son’s 5th birthday party and he was an absolute hit. A total pro who had the children and parents thoroughly entertained. Mr Merlin was an absolute hoot. We had him come to our house for a 40th birthday party and so glad we booked him. He is hilarious and was loved greatly by kids of mixed ages and the adults as well. Loads of fun! Would definitely recommend.

Mr Merlin is so much more than an entertainer. He proved that to me this weekend when he ran a Ventriloquist workshop for 100 beaver scouts aged 6-8 years. For his 2 x 1 hour sessions not one child went out to the toilet. That tells you a great deal! When we called the children back in after giving them a comfort break they literally ran back into our marquee. His workshop was varied and entertaining and he has the ability to reach children of all different levels. I do also use Mr Merlin twice a year for an awards event when he performs his magic shows. I always have superb feedback from the parents.

We recently hired Mr Merlin for our daughter's 6th birthday party and he did a fantastic job! He easily entertained 40 children with lots of fun games followed by a very interactive magic show with okey dokey the dragon appearing towards the end! The children thought he was very funny as did the adults with some subtle grown up humour thrown in! He is very professional and comes fully prepared with props etc. Our daughter rated him 10 out of 10 so that's why we are giving Mr MEerlin a well deserved 5 ⭐️ Stars!!!! He's the whole package!!!

Mr Merlin came and did two different age appropriate ventriloquist workshops for our Beaver and cub sections in one evening. Both sets of kids really enjoyed the mix of comedy and skills. Testament to his ability to tailor the experience depending on the crowd is how he kept the different age groups completely engaged throughout. Even making the adult spectators chuckle through the show as well. I’d thoroughly recommend Mr Merlin to any audience and particularly his ventriloquist show/workshop. 37th Bournemouth Scout group.

We booked Mr Merlin for my sons 5th Birthday Party. This was based on reviews from the internet and boy were they true. A parent texted me 2 days later and said "The best children's party I have ever been too", I know the pizza was good and fish fingers tasty but in truth this parent was talking about Mr Merlin. The children and adults were entertained for the whole 90 minutes without a gap or hiccup. great children's games, fun magic and amazing ventriloquist with the dragon. The humour, music and entertainment were spot on. Do yourselves a favour next time you need an entertainer and book Mr Merlin... you will not be disappointed.

Mr Merlin had 32 children aged between 2 and 4 years roaring with laughter! As the children left at the end of the day they all excitedly told their parents about Mr Merlin and his Dragon! What was also particularly good was that he subtly adapted the content during the show to suit the needs of the children, most of whom have SEND and attend a special school, which we thought was brilliant and was much appreciated. We all had a great giggle at Mr Merlin's show for our son's 4th birthday party. We booked the 45 minute package and it was the perfect length for the little ones' attention spans. The show was very polished but felt spontaneous and fun. There were jokes for all ages so the parents were also having a great time, and nice visual magic tricks and humour that the children could appreciate. They were completely convinced that Okey Dokey was actually talking so the ventriloquism went down well too! The shorts and bow tie added just the right touch of the clown. Mr Merlin was very professional, arriving exactly when he said he would, and everything ran perfectly to time. We have had lots of comments from the guests about how much they enjoyed themselves. We hired Mr Merlin for our daughter’s 5th birthday and he was brilliant! He kept the attention of a group of 30 children for well over an hour and a half which is a true testament to how good he is! The adults loved him too and some of the party games he played were different to what you have at all the other parties. He is also really good with smaller siblings who wander around and occasionally interrupt proceedings - he actually makes this part of the show. I say this because I have seen others that are not so accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone 😀

Mr Merlin and Okey Dokey came to our annual Carnival in Corfe Mullen on the 8th June and entertained the children with 3 performances as well as walking around the events ground with his larger Dragon. He had a large number of children at each performance who thoroughly enjoyed themselves and loved the Dragon. They were all great fun and I would highly recommended him. Thank you to Mr Merlin for helping to make our Carnival such a success and we hope to see him again next year.
