I have been working with Slick Events for many years now and they always deliver!
Over the years David Williams has been like a mentor for me. As my event management journey has progressed his support has continued :)
This photograph is from an event I was working for a client in Kinson, Bournemouth. When it came to it the stage simply could not fit through the entrance to the field so Slick Events reviewed the location and were dynamic enough to identify a location where the stage could be popped over the fence and towards the centre of the event space which worked perfectly.
All went very smoothly with bands being sound checked and set up in a very professional manner. Great sound management and controls, loved the new compact stage as well.

Slick Events helped us put on a charity fundraiser in a local square and they were incredibly helpful and accommodating; nothing was too much trouble. There was excellent communication leading up the event and David and Matt were incredibly helpful on the day, working hard to ensure our performers were happy. Have witnessed the professionalism of Slick Events at other venues they were my first choice for providing staging for our school event. We weren't disappointed, they arrived on time and swiftly setup a stage with sound and lighting. Staff and parents alike commented on how the sound quality was the best they had experienced at an outdoor event. Went to Sunday's Airshow at Bournemouth (Sept 5, 2021), and the VIP hospitality tent was organised by this team; one word to describe it....BRILLIANT...! From the venue itself (which was perfect for viewing and decked out very smartly) to the service levels of the team (friendly, chatty, efficient and helpful) to the quality of food and drink (faultless). It has been an absolute pleasure working with Slick Events for the last 4 years and we were delighted to receive so many lovely comments, yet again, from our guests. They were very impressed by the new style marquee which added so much to the VIP experience. With exceptional food and a professional friendly service, the day was just perfect in every way.
Everyone on the team from security to bar staff and service staff were welcoming, friendly and totally professional. Nothing was too much trouble, even down to helping us with photocopying! The day went smoothly, and we could focus our attention on our guests thanks to Slick Events.
Over the last 4 years we have hosted a total of 800 people at the Hospitality Day with Tracey and her team and many of them have returned year on year. Testament to the warm welcome they receive, the exceptional quality of food and the fantastic venue.
Tracey and David are genuinely lovely people and as such attract a team of like-minded staff. We would recommend Slick Events without hesitation as their planning, event management and attention to detail are truly outstanding.

In announcing that we would proceed with organising Southbourne Revival 2019 with a challenging timescale of 3 months we knew we needed help. Help from the community but professional help that could steer us through the legal requirements and also working with the Council.
Slick Events are very experienced with previous Southbourne based events and they were very much a natural choice. As the organisers, we had our own day jobs to contend with, in between attracting traders, garnering sponsorship and booking bands.
Slick Events were very supportive of what we were trying to do. They brought ideas to bolster what we had come up with, offered alternatives and affirmed when we were making the right choices.
They ensured we didn’t cut corners and held us to account, in a stern but pragmatic way. I actually liked that. It felt like a team, rather than just being a supplier.
What was even more fun? David playing on the second sound stage to close off the weekend.
